  4. Blimey - we have Jamie Reagan every episode and the last episode was all Jamie - when will people be satisfied?? This sounds an interesting episode and it is good to see Danny go to his Father for support

The problem is not that Jamie doesn't "show up", it's that there's maybe 1/10 episodes where he actually gets an interesting story line. The rest of them have him in it for like 5 minutes flirting with his new partner or something, but most of them you don't see him until family dinner when he's questioning the morality of something. I guess we just aren't seeing the family interact as much as we used to so it's kind of just turned into a show about Danny Reagan solving cases.

  6. I disagree, the underlying arch of the seasons are generally about Jamie with episode story lines about the rest of the family, Season 1 was about the Blue Templar and how Jamie gets involved to the point of solving his Brothers murder.

Season 2 was Jamie going under cover and a hit being put out on him. Season 3 the underlying them was Jamie moving away from his training officer and getting a partner who died by the end of the season.

I think people look at each episode as 'Danny centric' when in reality the season in 'Jamie' centric. Once Jamie becomes a Detective he will get cases to solved, at the moment he is a beat cop and they do not get a case load.
