The Breaking Bad spinoff starring Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks is set to premiere this fall, but not before getting its cast in order. The AMC drama is on the hunt for lawyers to support Odenkirk's Saul Goodman. Among them:
Dr. Thurber, described as a brilliant attorney in his 50s who is now restricted by an unusual affliction. Beth, a successful lawyer who's had a hard life which is complicated by her romantic entanglements with somebody else at the firm. Burt, a "Kennedy type" who's winning at life and is a name partner at a firm.
And because it's Saul Goodman, not everything is black and white in the world. The show is also looking for Eddy, a smart and calculating criminal who knows the ropes. Then there are twin brothers Zach and Luke who spend their days skateboarding and scamming.

I Always have mixed feelings about spin offs. I want them to work, but I fear the Joey effect.
ReplyDeleteIf this is well done, it could be great.
Joey was after Friends, Better Call Saul is a prequel to the series.
ReplyDeleteSo i'm confident it would work :D
Am interested in this, hope the show works.
ReplyDeleteI think she just means is when take an interesting supporting character give him his own show and lose what made the character special to begin with.
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what I meant. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteStill considered a spinoff.
