Cardinal Mysteres, Siege of Kebec and The Investigation. Rest sounds like nails on chalkboard.
ReplyDeleteNot a lot jumps out here.
ReplyDelete- Lots of cop shows.
- Lots of distrust of future technology and the government.
- More period dramas than I would expect.
- "Sex, Lies, & Handwriting" is one of the worst show titles I've ever seen.
- Can't really pass judgement of get excited about any of these shows with one sentence descriptions and no cast attached.
Lords of Opium sounds really good also Soul Hunter. There are enough cop dramas there to keep going for ages
ReplyDeleteSoul Hunter, Apex, Haunted and Mortal Coil sound interesting to me.
ReplyDelete"- "Sex, Lies, & Handwriting" is one of the worst show titles I've ever seen."
ReplyDeleteHa! I guess you've never seen "Sex, Lies, and Video Tape"? :p
(I know, it's still a bad title regardless)
Some of these sound ok...
ReplyDeleteHaunted
Soul Hunters
Sparrow
Echoes
Soul Hunter is basically "Brimstone" and "The Collector" but could be alright. Siege of Kebic or whatever sounds alrightish. Echoes is the only other one besides the two I mentioned that sounds okay. What's up with all the cop dramas??? No no no no no no no no no.
ReplyDeleteThat's what makes the title so much worse. They borrowed from an already bad film title that has been borrowed and altered dozens of times, mostly as episode titles.
ReplyDeleteWe have enough cop shows thanks...please come up with something more original. The institute sounded promising then I read it was about science institute! So not gonna bother with that one. Finally, any comedies? Not friends knock offs though please...again we gave enough of those :)
ReplyDeleteThe film wasn't my cup of tea, but I didn't hate it, because I can appreciate Soddeberg's (sp?) approach and stylization.
