Intriguing. Hope the Finale is a good as the Season 1 finale.
ReplyDeleteInteresting...let the speculation begin!
ReplyDeleteOdd title. I have no idea what'll happen.
ReplyDeleteUnthinkable. Hmm. Unthinkable.....Well i guess most of the characters will be doing the unthinkable. (Drum roll). I think this episode will be total chaos.
ReplyDeleteIt's unthinkable for Oliver to kill anyone since Tommys death
ReplyDeleteIt's unthinkably terrible if someone close to them dies
well...guess this told us noting
I hope they use the tradition of one-word season finales as they have the tradition of Bruce Springsteen song titles for their penultimate episode.
ReplyDeleteAnd while "Sacrifice" meant a lot of things, we saw the sacrifice of Tommy's life to save Laurel. "Unthinkable" could represent something that no one expected to happened to this series or perhaps in Oliver's life by the end of the episode. Should be good.
It's unthinkable, but that's exactly what Slade wanted to happen it seems with Ollie killing The Count.
ReplyDeleteI have the nagging feeling Sara is gonna die! I hope it's not true but it wont leave me alone
ReplyDeleteI doubt she's going to die yet because they've mentioned wanting to do another Birds of Prey episode.
ReplyDeleteOliver has already killed since Tommy's death, I don't see it as being that Unthinkable.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure this will be a game changer episode. But let's see what Unthinkable will happen, there are a lot of options. Can't for the final eps.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about? I'm referring to early in season two when Oliver killed The Count, which is something what Slade most likely wanted to happen. That was the first tine Ollie killed after vowing not to kill because of Tommy, wasn't it?
ReplyDeleteUnthinkable: Arrow appears to die at the end. Solution: Lazarus Pits.
ReplyDeletethat really doesn't secure her safety this girl isn't the real Canary, she's a stand-in so they could still do a "BoP" storyline with the real Canary. Eventhough I think Marc was kinda kidding when he mentioned that, the whole thing with Sara/Huntress and Felicity, it was more like a wish list of his or something. lol
ReplyDeleteSince they are bringing in people with superpowers (The Flash villains that will appear in episode 20) I think it could happen.
ReplyDeleteAlso maybe Oliver has to kill Roy but he doesn't die and comes back as Arsenal. Also I think Thea is going to be reunited with Malcolm.
Sorry, I meant to reply to Mac
ReplyDeleteAt this stage I don't think she is a stand in. And I hardly think Laurel will make the transformation in 1 season, if Laurel needs to be at Sara's level, I think it will take more than 2 seasons. But I don't think laurel is going to become Black Canary. Except for her name she is nowhere near Black Canary.
ReplyDeleteAhh, okay. It's cool. For a second, I thought Ollie killed someone even before The Count this season, lol.
ReplyDeleteI'm so tired of Fake Deaths. Just kill people and stick by it or don't kill them at all...it's such a cheat.
ReplyDeleteLazarus pits is beyond "fake death." Its Princess Bride death.
ReplyDeleteI could be wrong, but I am thinking the Flash will have a brief appearance in the finale.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of temporary and supposed deaths either but the reality is that this is a show based on comics and false deaths are an ever-present staple of the genre. Watching a comic-based show means accepting all the elements of the genre, even the unpleasant ones like the questionable finality of 'death.'
ReplyDeleteI expect she will stand in for Sara in one story. Sort of like Diggle stood in for Ollie.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Oliver has to make an unthinkable choice between two of the women in his life (Thea/Moira/Sara/Laurel/Felicity), to save one and to let the other die as what happened with Shado.
ReplyDeleteBtw, it's not unthinkable that the title will be changed. Happened last year too.
There'll be Flash-centered villains in episode 20? If you meant episode 19, that's still not accurate. We will be only seeing pre-Killer Frost.
ReplyDeleteYeah but they're kind of abusing it at this point (IMO) In S2 they brought back 2 people (Sara, Merlyn) and Slade if tou count the continuous reference to him being dead and the Arrow through the eye mask.
ReplyDeleteWho's next? Yao Fei? Shado? Tommy? Do they kill Sara again and bring her back for the 3rd time?
At the rate at which this occurs in comics, 2 people being brought back over the course of a 9 month period is nothing. Considering the source material, I'd hardly call it abuse. I'm not pleased about it but I know how often it happens and it is something that has to be accepted when following anything in the comic-based superhero genre.
ReplyDeleteHmm, what would be "Unthinkable"...
ReplyDeleteSince John Barrowman has been confirmed for this episode, I'm going to say it's an alliance between Oliver and Malcom Merlyn.
The Big 3 writing (like duh, but it might be the last time they do so for awhile because The Flash and a few things on Greg Berlanti's plate) and John Behring. I'm on board but the title 'Unthinkable' makes it feel more like an 'Elementary' finale than an Arrow one. I can't wait to see what they have planned for us. I'm just calling it, I don't think it can top Sacrifice. But it might come close.
ReplyDeleteThey changed it last year because they thought it was a little flimsy '52 Wells Street' and I agree but 'Unthinkable' just might stick. It has that buzz generating factor.
ReplyDeleteIn Green Arrow: Year One Oliver's "friend" Hackett thought that Oliver was dead when he threw him overboard. Deaths are only apparent on Arrow just like in the comics. In Malcolm's case he believes death is an illusion and could make his "death" look convincing.
ReplyDeleteEP220 won't be a backdoor pilot of The Flash.. it was, but they changed their mind.
ReplyDeleteit would make sense.....it would be unthinkable for Arrow and the Dark Archer to work together to stop Slade.......plus Sara and Roy two LOA and Roy with power and Arrow would be strong in the fight against Slade........
ReplyDeleteI am aware of this, which is why I corrected it and said she meant episode 19.
