Gotta go with the death scene. The simple fact is most shows are predictable. The adage "you seen one you seen them all" often applies. However Moira's death was unexpected, surprising, and yet still fit in with the basic theme of everything. It was an applause worthy scene for many reasons.
The choice's scene following by Moira's sacrifice by far the best scene on TV this week! So evil, so cruel, so unexpected, so heartbreaking it just has been a very emotional end!
The scene where Moira tells Oliver that she knows + the scene where Oliver finds out that the girl "lost" the baby (is this baby going to come into the picture to find his bio dad??) and where Moira tells him how much she loves him and that she will always be there for him.
Definitely Moira's death. It was so emotional, so heartbreaking and so brave. Also, the scene where she told Oliver she knows was great too. I knew the first time Moira said 'I know' that she was talking about Oliver's secret. She just said it such a tone that I immediately knew she was referring her knowing Oliver is the Arrow. Kudos to Susanna Thompson, who really owned the entire episode.
YEAH! I liked that too actually. I just kept laughing about it. LOL in a haha you got your leg broken type of way. But more awww you poor guy. And he LITERALLY leaned on Felicity for support. I thought that was cute. "God you're heavy." "I know." (My Olicity feels). Then he just stabs himself with the needle. lol Yeah his setback was cute.
Yes the death scene was a great scene definelly the best, oliver and felicity bit was funny but not the best. I love the twist that this death is going to bring to the show. im getting tired of this light version of arrow. I miss the hood of s1.
This is the light version? I hate to know what you believe is dark.
Yeah, I think it brings a major twists. Moira's death simultaneously frees Oliver from his family while tying him closer to Thea. Add to that there's been rumors that Thea herself is destined to be a crime fighter so her own encounters with Slade, her brother's darkness, Roy's instability, and Moira's murder have forced her into her own crucible.
Yeah, for the previous obvious reasons, but i'm really hoping not. He better not touch one hair on her freaking head! Or i'm jumping in that tv myself and i'm kicking his ass. lol
maybe im explaining myself wrong. All i meant is that Oliver is lighter than s01, he keeps trying t talk to people instead of beating them up, in 2x17 Oliver and Sarah even have a discussion about it.
I thought the scene where Oliver learns that the baby died and he talks to Moira about it. Susannah Thompson is always good but Stephen Amell really upped his game -- there were so many emotions you could see Oliver having and none of it was in the dialogue.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteMy beloved Moira's final moments will always remain the very best of Arrow for me.

ReplyDeleteThe last 6 minutes.
ReplyDeleteThe last 10 min. Tragic, but fantastic. And Moira revealing she knows about Oliver.
ReplyDeletetotally agree. But I also liked that Oliver hurt his knee, it was nice seeing him struggling with his physis.
ReplyDeleteshe was one of the best characters on the show.

ReplyDeleteThis is the kind of episode where this poll is frankly redundant, if you know what I mean.
ReplyDeleteI liked the final scene where Moira was telling Oliver about the baby being lost and comforting him. But that wasn't on the list.

ReplyDeleteHow could the death scene not be high on the list. I also picked the conversation where Moira tells Oliver she *knows*
