Are these the CW and CBS Pilots that have already been ordered to Series? [RUMOUR]

Apr 16, 2014

Thanks to an anonymous contact who has sent through this screenshot from a CBS International Press Site that stores press materials for all their shows.

On the site is a new section that has placeholders created for a number of new shows.

Will these be some of the shows that CBS and CW will order to pilot? This does not mean that others won't be ordered to series in the future but it seems that these ones are the ones already ordered.

We have no way of confirming currently but as soon as we hear anything we'll be sure to update.

Here is the image that our source managed to capture from the web site folders.

Below is the information about the shows contained in the folders. It's interesting to note that the only show in the list below that has a confirmed number of episodes is The Club.

  1. Really, the CSI and NCIS pilots? Sigh.

  2. I don't buy it. Something like this happens every year close to Upfronts. And besides, I'm not sure if most of these even have started/finished filming yet!

    ReplyDelete
  3. It's only the shows produced by CBS Studios, a complete list...

    ReplyDelete
  4. The Flash's pilot screening was earlier this week. I would assume all have to be done by now if they are to be finished, watched, decided upon etc.

    ReplyDelete
  5. (that's why The Club, not for CBS, is included by the way)

    ReplyDelete
  6. This seems like a list of the pilots that wouldn't have been picked up, rather than a list of pilots that have been picked up.

    ReplyDelete
  7. And Sober Companion too, which is for Fox.

  8. Thanks Lulla, that's a good point. I'll add a note to the post.

  9. De nada. And I add this : it means it's not the pilots that have been picked-up (the decisions are not made yet, since some shootings are still underway). Just a list of what CBS Studios is producing this year, for potential buyers. But most of them won't the light of day.

  10. I remember when last year ABC did this and then those shows didn't get a series order.

  11. That's quite a lot of dramas for CBS (six), and they already have Battle Creek. They wouldn't all fit into the schedule.

But really, they can skip Scorpion, Untitled Elmore/Cavell project, Untitled David Marshall Grant project and maybe the CSI spinoff. I would much rather want to see Red Zone and the Stalker Unit. Keep NOLA and Madam Secretary.

Also, I would like to see Identity make it on the CW. And please tell me Jane the Virgin never gets to see the light of the day.

  12. I am glad Geoff Stults is getting another chance. I enjoyed The Finder and Enlisted and was sorry they went off the air.

All the CW pilots have finished filming (iZombie was the last, finishing on April 10th). So most of them will probably be turned in next week sometime. Supernatural: Bloodlines will probably be next in since it has to air on the 29th.

  14. So How I Met Your Dad isn't happening?

    ReplyDelete
  15. It's produced by FOX

    ReplyDelete
  16. The only ones I'm interested in are The Messengers, Madam Secretary and Scorpion.

  17. CSI Cyber? Really? Want to fight with Silicon Valley?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Is it possible that CW will order ALL his pilots to series? If Jane the Virgin, The Messenger and Idendity are really picked up, it leaves Flash (which is 100% picked up), the SPN Spin off (which is also 100% picked up) and iZombie (which is likely to be picked up).

Maybe they want to order them all so they can expand their shedule with limited/shortend seasons?
Maybe this is just a move so they can boost their ratings so the tribune will renew their contract and they don't have to shut down next season?

  19. I don't think CW will pick up three CBS pilots in addition to the sure to be picked up Bloodlines,Flash and promising IZombie.I think Flash,Bloodlines,IZombie,Jane(a normal show out of the genre shows and cw will pick up at least a couple CBS shows since they'll only have Reign cause SC & BatB will get cancelled sadly) will get picked up.I don't think Idenity or Messengers will but I dont know what the otherctwonpilots picked up will.

Seriusly? The Club and Jane the Virgin picked up? Let's hope not.

  21. The Messengers and Odd Couple are a maybe for me. Not interested in any of the other shows.

    ReplyDelete
  22. none of those look the least bit interesting and looking over the actors in many... makes them look even more crappy looking

    ReplyDelete
  23. I hope that The Messengers will be picked up !!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. The Club already has a series order on ABC.

    Totally forgot abut that. Thanks

  26. They couldn't be more different. CSI Cyber is about Cyber Crime Division.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well this site is obviously wrong... You'll find out to not Beleive this gossip... Come May you'll see... Especially you should be able to tell becaus CBS defiantly won't be picking up 6 new dramas... First off it has already been said thet they'll only premier 2 new hours of drama and 2 new hours of comedy in the fall.. So I'd only see CBS picking up 4 dramas
