We'll soon find out, but when Vulture ran into Samuel L. Jackson last week at the premiere of his wife's Broadway play A Raisin in the Sun, we had to ask whether he'd be filming another cameo as former S.H.I.E.L.D. head honcho Nick Fury. Laughing, he told us, "I did! Last week! I just shot the end-of-the-season show." He wouldn't reveal any details, however. "You're trying to get me fired and killed! I don't talk about Marvel's business. None of us do."

Yes I kind of figured he would turn up at the end and Coulson would be like 'your alive?' and Fury is all like 'damn right I am now lets kick some Hydra ass' or something much less cheesy ha.
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm okay with cheese if it's Sam delivering it. I mean, the man took the material of "Snakes on a Plane" and made it ART. Bring on the dairy!
ReplyDeletelol Yeah, I like cheese.
ReplyDeletemake sense for him to come back when SHIELD has fallen unless they back to normal by then and there is also the big threat of Clairvoyant. if Fury is back will we still Hill too?
ReplyDeleteAs Hill is now no longer an agent but a representative of Star Industries any role Hill mgiht have would be as perhaps a Liason to the team on the plane.
ReplyDeleteThe plane that Im guessing costs a jiggleload to run.
Part of me thinks S.H.I.E.L.D. will return to some extent and this'll be tied to that. Mainly though that's because of the title. It'll be weird if this show is still around say...3 years from now and S.H.I.E.L.D. was only around for the first 16 episodes.
ReplyDeletePerhaps they'll reform as or join one of the a sister agencies? S.W.O.R.D. perhaps since the introduction of the alien creature and GOTG.
Fury went to great lengths to bring Coulson back from the dead, he believes in him and more importantly trusts him, which The Clairvoyant/Hydra obviously fears. So it makes sense Fury would let Coulson know he is alive and get him and his team on side for the battle ahead. Cant wait, loved A.O.S from the start but it's really starting to find it's feet now and the closer it aligns with the various films the better (and the more chance it has to survive).
ReplyDeleteI love that there's so much buzz for the show going on right now! I want the last few episodes to climb in the ratings.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have seen the movie. Excited for it!
ReplyDeleteLove the news! It's always awesome to see the two worlds meet like that, especially when it's Fury.
ReplyDeleteYou can watch it online lol
ReplyDeleteI don't do that. I'll wait until it comes out on DVD.
