    the promo reminds me more of a romantic comedy.

    TheCW is really embracing the fanservice aspect

    It's the awful CW promo department at it again. I wouldn't put it past them to completely misrepresent the tone of the episode, which they most likely have. They just can't seem to do anything right these days.

    I'm inclined to believe that they're doing all that at purpose, the hardcore fans are sticking with it already so they now plan to pander to the HIMYM fandom :P

    I don't know why Elena is talking to Damon about her dreams about Stefan. She should be talking to her friends about things like that, or maybe just to Bonnie. Damon can only get jealous and snarky about the dreams. It looks like Caroline might be a little bit jealous. I guess the cuddling scene between Stefan and Caroline is behind us now. Someone must have misquoted or misinterpreted what was going to happen. It looks like Stefan cares about Caroline and understands her, but she is the one with the romantic feelings, at least at the moment. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. I hope it isn't Damon that Caroline is on the phone with talking about Stefan and Elena's dreams. That would be really low, and could lead to the end of a friendship. She can't be talking to Bonnie, because I'm pretty sure Bonnie is sitting right in front of her.

    I miss them! They have a lot to work out, but their relationship reminds me of the times when this show was actually good and addicting, as well as when Elena was someone I admired and rooted for. I think that if they find their way back to each other the show will be better, almost like balance will have been restored. I wasn't exactly a fan of them before, but now I can see that their relationship was one of the things that made the show work. And Damon/Elena are the worst, this season's proved it. Along with some other storylines, they dragged the show down and cheapened Elena's character.

    Is anyone else find the Travelers well... pretty average? TVD seems to have stepped into the realm of 'Lets make this Witch MORE POWAH than the previous one?'. Imagine how Luka (remember the awesome scene where Damon used the flamethrower on someone ? :)) and co would be finding tangling with the current sprout of Witches/Travelers.



    Has TVD painted itself into a corner where it cant really go beyond the Originals in terms of Vampire power and the Werewolf thing sorta died in the but with the Hybrid thing.



    Perhaps they need to look at Mummy lore or something :)

    all the other aspects of this episode are spoilers,so they showed the non-spoilery part!! but the tone of this episode is going to be completely different than the promo.

    I'm not impressed with the travelers so far. They're just a bunch of annoying cult-like weirdos to me. Also, the only thing painting TVD into a corner is a lack of vision and creativity by the writers and producers.

    I hope this scene isn't really representative of the episode, because the idea of Stefan and Elena together is a big turn-off. And I say this as someone who isn't really into the "Delena" relationship either. I'm all for Elena giving the two brothers a break, and vice versa. Plus, I like what's happening with Stefan and Caroline.
