  1. It wold have helped if Bonnie bothered to mention to anyone that Katherine never crossed over when she 'died.'

  2. Uh, Katherine did a bad job of impersonating Elena. It shouldn't have been that hard to figure out. Maybe they should just admit they don't really know Elena that well anymore.

  3. It's not Bonnie's fault that the writers conveniently made her ignorant so they can do this passenger storyline. I'm so sick of hearing how Bonnie should have mentioned that Katherine didn't cross over through her. Bonnie mentioned point blank during the episode that she didn't know if Katherine would qualify as a supernatural. Blame the writers if you want to blame someone for this stupid story, not the character.

  4. Thank you. I'm so sick of Bonnie being blamed for this stupid storyline when it's clearly the fault of the producers and writers. Bonnie hasn't done anything wrong. She even mentioned how she doesn't know if Katherine was considered a supernatural being.

Bonnie's friends never worry about her. She's just a weapon to be used when they need a problem solved. Bonnie's anchor storyline has the potential to be the most interesting storyline right now, considering the Augustine and Traveler storylines are beyond boring.

  5. This is why I was so skeptical of Bonnie being the supernatural anchor, I knew the writers wouldn't be able to keep it up and be consistent with the storyline. I'm hoping that it actually gets put to interesting use at some point rather than "Bonnie actually did see so and so pass but it was off screen".

  6. Of course it's not Bonnie's fault because Bonnie isn't real. When someone blames a character for something they're really blaming the writers because they are the people responsible for everything that character does and says.

  7. I'm with you. I'm very disappointed that a potentially interesting storyline for Bonnie has once again gone absolutely nowhere and her newfound abilities have not been adequately incorporated into the show or put to good use at all.

  8. Katherine started out doing a decent job but became progressively worse at impersonating Elena as time went on. She was hardly even trying throughout last week's episode. I think you make a good point that maybe her friends just don't know Elena like they used to.

  9. I mean they could've really utilised this ability and given us the final thoughts and regrets of recurring characters, completely changing how we say goodbye to characters on the show and... All we get is an episode or two where it's happened?

  10. Exactly. We could have also had some amazing shout-outs to The Originals with all the supernatural people who've been dying on that show all season. What a convenient way to keep the TVD characters updated on what's going on in New Orleans... but we get nothing.

  11. I never even thought of that, but that would've been pretty fantastic. Just off the top of my head they could've synced it up so that Davina or Sophie passed through Bonnie, who relayed information from them to Tyler which caused him to go to New Orleans seeking vengeance against Klaus. One of those two could've been part of the episode where she discovers the consequences of this and also given a nice crossover without it seeming too random.

  12. So NOW they're terrible friends. How sweet of them to notice. What exactly is Stefan? I don't think he was ever actually "friends" with Elena. He was the guy she crushed on, her boyfriend, and her ex-boyfriend, that's all. As far as I'm concerned, he only had trouble seeing what was going on because he's still in love with Elena. He's only guilty of being desperate. Katherine did the most damage there. I will be very unhappy if Elena doesn't have a nasty reaction to how long she was gone.

  13. This! Most people forget about this.

  14. Hahahaha this is funny. They should all feel guilty. I'm annoyed by it too. Like really?? Elena is going to be pissed at everyone. And they deserve it. I mean Stefan c'mon, you couldn't tell that she was terribly flirting with you. She was putting it on really thick!! Elena never flirts that hard she's subtle. And Caroline you're her roommate!! And she definitely wouldn't want to know details about you sleeping with Klaus, After he killed Jenna, turned Tyler into a hybrid, forced Stefan to fed on her, AND KILLED HER to complete his hybrid ritual! Ugh!! When Elena comes back and tells them off, I will be clapping.

  15. Those who were asking how Bonnie hadn't noticed that Katherine didn't pass through her blame Julie Plec and Caroline Dries. How Bonnie' s so-called friends hadn't noticed that something weird had been happening to her for 3 months and actually no one is wondering what's going to happen to Bonnie now that she is anchor because Amara went crazy?
