What does he think he can do? How many times does he have to fail miserably? Gathering up an army to toss at Klaus/Elijah is already destined to fail, he should know this after throwing ALL of his army at Klaus before and Klaus ripped through them. Marcel and anyone who follows him would just look like a fool at this point.
Marcel, you big dummy. Do you really want to start an army with Thierry? That guy is the biggest turncoat Julie Plec has ever created. It hasn't been a full season of The Originals and he has already betrayed damn near everyone on the show. Someone needs to stake that guy.
I want that too. If Klaus doesn't kill Marcel than I can see Elijah killing him. However I think it would be better if Tyler killed him or some random werewolf.
I think Tyler will be staying in Mystic Falls. I'd actually like to see a witch or a werewolf kill him. He was part of the reason the werewolves were cursed so I could see them wanting revenge, also because he was recently executing every witch who practiced magic without his permission it seems like the witches should also want revenge - so I'd like to see those two groups get revenge against Marcel.
actually thierry was loyal to Marcel until he killed his girlfriend and put him in the Garden. Remember when Kati was going to kill Marcel, Thierry even shouted No! Thierry betrayed Rebekah to Papa Tunde, but why wouldn't he? In his eyes she was nothing more than Klaus' sister (his arch enemy) i really don't get how can Thierry even be in the same room with Marcel and not want to stake him. In my opinion Thierry so far has been pathologically loyal to Marcel, and didn't betray anyone else since he never pledged loyalty to them in the first place.
I am surprised people still even follow him, he set up several dozens of his people to get killed by Klaus and manage to weasel his way out of a death sentence by ligting the coin. His people maybe didn't know what they were up against but he grew up with Klaus and Elijah, he should have known better than to pick up an open fight. And him just standing and watching the fight was very cowardly. The true leader leads his people in the battle, not watches from safe distance.
I wish they would find some over reason to explain Marcel clinging to NOLA so desperately. If vampires existed they would have the whole world at their feet, why would any of them want to risk their lives stubbornly trying to stop their superiors (who can't even be killed off since they sired them) over a small chunk of land? Marcel was a slave there, i 'd imagine myself wanting to get as far away from a place with so many bad memories as possible. Plus the witches, the werewolves = it's just not worth it. The New Orleans is not that good, no city on Earth is great enough to go through so much troubles to hold on to it.
That's a terrible idea. That's absolute torture. I don't want to wait 3-4 months to be sure of Marcel's death. LOL hell no. If he's gonna die, i want to know right then and there. lmao
To be fair, I think it was implied that he was about to jump in with them when Klaus started to "hybrid out" but Rebekah grabbed his hand and told him to pick up the coin.
But yeah, I'm surprised anyone would follow him after seeing how powerless Marcel was against Klaus.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Klaus & Elijah > Marcel

ReplyDeleteI hope someone kills Marcel in the season finale. He needs to move on with his life and leave or they need to just get rid of him for good.
ReplyDeleteI hate Marce....then again I REALLY REALLY like Thierry...
ReplyDeleteUgh! I so want Elijah to kill Marcel.
ReplyDeleteI actually lile Marcel.. I hope he sticks it out through the first season at least.

ReplyDeleteSo another plan to take control over of the city? Another plan to take down of the Originals? What's new?
ReplyDeleteAnd here I was hoping for the story line to branch out into 'n' different ways and not repeat itself again.
So true. All Marcel is going to do is get his men killed. I wonder why Klaus doesn't just kill him.

It would be great if 1 season ended with cliffhanger of Marcel being near death and then in premiere of the 2, we find out he actually is dead.
