The Musketeers - Episode 1.10 - Musketeers Don't Die Easily - Finale Preview & Teasers

Sorry to have to start this preview with a caveat, but I thought that this is probably the best place for readers to see it. As any season gets closer to a finale it gets harder to answer some questions that get asked in the comments below, as many of you probably noticed last week. So as this is the last episode (*sniff*) I'm afraid that my answers may well be even vaguer than last week, or I may not be able to answer at all. So apologises in advance if I don’t reply to you or don’t give much detail when I can do so, and I also won’t be answering any guesses on who says what in the dialogue teasers this week, though of course I'm always interested in hearing guesses and theories.

I think we are all expecting twists and turns a plenty, and it’s fair to say that the BBC have already ramped up the excitement for this last instalment, from the spoilers that they have already given us in the photos and promos they've released so far. I'm happy to report that on the whole they have delivered on their promise, the finale is jam-packed with intrigue, skirmishes, high running emotions, humour, slick plot twists, and a final street battle that is simply superb in both its intensity and direction. Every fan will find moments that they will adore, but equally I think that some fans will perhaps also find there are occasions they may not take to so well. Despite these few tiny grumbles the episode is overall a fantastic end to the season.

We have jumped forward in time a couple of months since Knight Takes Queen (this is part two of the same story) and Mellendorf's trial has just started, bringing with it pressure from Prussia and Sweden who do not believe that the Count is guilty as charged. In fact, there is only one person who does wholly believe in the Count’s deceit, but they have a tough time getting anyone else on board with their views by the end of the episode. King Louis has his burdens, having trouble concentrating on matters at hand whenever Charlotte’s heaving bosom is around, preferring to fondly reminisce over their successful hunting trip together, than the case against her father, once the young lady in question leaves the courtroom - much to his wife’s vexation.

Most of the action happens away from the court though, as we suspected, it is the Musketeers and Milady who are at the centre of the action, with the Cardinal, Sarazin and Constance making significant appearances throughout. D'Artagnan especially has come a long way from the young Gascony lad we met in the pilot, and I think this is Luke Pasqualino's strongest episode to date, as his character goes through some of the lowest and highest points of his young Musketeers career yet, proving once and for all, by the end of the hour, that he does indeed deserve that pauldron he proudly sports upon his shoulder.

The others have their moments too, Aramis and Porthos fans will be delighted at their pairing up this week. It’s been a while since the two of them have shared much screen time together and their good natured banter lightens the mood in an otherwise a dark and serious tale. Athos is brilliant too, whether he is brooding, drunk or leading his men in to battle, and his scenes with Milady are some of their finest. Constance continues to be one of the strongest female roles on television at the moment, even at her lowest point she doesn't give up and gives as good as she gets. The Cardinal and Milady show their true colours, both power hungry and possibly making promises they don’t intend to keep?

Just who will be left standing at the end once the musket smoke clears and the slowmo camera has caught every swashbuckling sword thrust and parry? Not every character gets the conclusion I expected them to, though many of the theories I have read here on the site over the last few weeks have been very close, so I think you can all give yourselves a pat on the back in that regard!

Many thanks for reading my previews this season, I have enjoyed chatting with you all about the show a great deal. Hopefully you will enjoy the finale as much as I have, and I hope to see you over the hiatus with filming updates and/or on other show posts, you have been fab!

Musketeers Don’t Die Easily airs at 9pm on Sunday 30th March on BBC 1 and BBC 1 HD, below are a few dialogue teasers and a spoiler hangman to see you through until then. Don't forget to come back to vote in our poll after the episode and let us know what you thought.

“Is one woman’s life worth sacrificing to avoid such a catastrophe?”

“If you ever fail in your duty again, I will not be so lenient”

“Madame, I have come to see D'Artagnan, this won’t take long”

“Their code of honour demands my debt, believe me I know how they think”

“Tell me what really happened between you and Athos”

“A respectable woman doesn't just disappear in broad daylight. For goodness sake!”

“Unfortunately D'Artagnan is unable to attend, he did however send me to look after you”

“I could blow your brains out now and never think of you again”

“Untie these ropes and I’ll show you what a woman can do”

“Well, now you must choose D'Artagnan. If you help her you’re not fit to call yourself a Musketeer”

Spoiler Hangman

The hang man has been cracked, congratulations! The new cryptic teasers have been added below.

It has been a long time coming but those legendary lines we've been waiting to hear do indeed happen in the last quarter of the episode. It is Porthos who initiates the four to come together and speaks the first half of the famous couplet while they ready themselves for the final showdown.

Character Teasers

Could the father figure be forced to choose a side in the rift between his charges?

Someone can't make their mind up about their ex; there's a fine line between love and hate.

One of the noble one's (lesser known) natural tendencies will be tested to it's limits; let's hope he can be relied on.

A generally jovial character sheds a few tears, but are they happy or sad? Either way, it's all a bit emotional.

Two different people call out to a certain Madame in the street; will either have good news for her?

A 'prince' becomes concerned after receiving intelligence from an unlikely source, and changes his plans accordingly.

The rookie's life gets turned upside down before the opening credits even have a chance to roll.

The loner shows, once again, that he can read a woman's true feelings better than those around him.

  4. I have been waiting for this all evening! Glad to hear you enjoyed it and think we all will too. I am particularly looking forward to Aramis and Porthos' interaction, although I am an Athos fangirl at heart.

Thank you for your brilliant previews and teasers, they have kept me sane waiting for the next installment!

  5. You're welcome, you guys have kept me sane with the waiting and theorising too :D

Gonna be very hard to pick next weeks Scene of the Week, I think I am going to have to do one just for this episode alone there are so many fab little moments! XD

    Thank you for your preview ! Was it more difficult to write than last week's ... ? =D Anyway, I think I'm not going to ask you too much this time, because this is the Finale !! I seriously can't wait, but in the mean time I'm a little sad :( The end is near;

I'm glad that you've mentionned good moments between Aramis and Porthos, I missed their banter a lot ! I was affraid that the last episode would be lighter on humour, because that's what attracted me to The Musketeers when I started watching it. So I'm glad to read that, it's good news ! (Even though I'm expecting a loooot of serious moments as well. Can't wait can't wait can't wait !) And I hope they all get a fair amount of screen time, because we won't be seeing their faces for a loong time after that ! :'(

The best d'Artagnan episode so far for me has been "The Challenge", so if he is even better on this one, he might win his own place into my heart as the other three did a loooong time ago. I love those guys ! lol

  8. You're welcome, yeah pretty sad that this is it :(

Hmm, the ones I can answer from your questions; I think in general their fans will be happy with most of their time together, they are a sweet couple who love each other. There aren't many scenes they are in together, but then her story is the kidnap so I think that's to be expected that she is hidden away for most of it really. Bonacieux is in the episode.

    ReplyDelete
  9. does the queen feel that Mellendorf was be hide the plot to have her murdered? and has does she feel about charlotte? and do the king and queen have some scenes together ?

  10. Sorry that I can't reveal end games for characters, I wish that I could, but it's probably a spoil too far :( But all motivations are all well placed and stories rounded off well, even if I didn't particularly like some that's only down to personal preference and I'm sure other fans will enjoy them.

I really enjoyed Pertwee, but then he could have sat there and read the phone book and I'd have probably loved it, lol. He does get some great lines though, and provides some back story for Milady which is good. I've seen him play more chilling roles, in things like Luther, but he was suitably nasty in this, and mixed in some humour with it too.

  11. Thanks so much for your reply, Sandi!!!! :) At least you said that in general, fans will be happy! I'll take that as a good sign.

I know that you can't answer what fans are most worried about right now: Will D'Artagnan sleep with Milady and break the hearts of Constance/D'Artagnan fans?

I guess we will have to wait a few days to find out the answer to that terrifying and scary question!

Thanks for all that you do!!!

  12. Bless you, Sandi, and your previews. I bet it was hard to write it without letting anything slip. Good job with that :D You made me even more crazy about this finale. I'm glad to hear about some Aramis and Porthos moments, there's never enough of their banter! The most mysterious thing that's driving me crazy is the Cardinal's departure.......I hope it's as big and epic and shocking and everything as I made it out to be in my mind, because destroying my mental health with them not giving away any hint is not acceptable!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Lol yeah, it was a bit of a tough write. I was out for a couple of hours after seeing the episode which did help a bit as thoughts mulled around in my head for a while before putting pen to paper, so to speak. I'd say that motivations and characterisations are fairly spot on throughout the whole episode, I can't really fault it on that front, they are pretty much the people we have come to know over the past 10 weeks. I wouldn't say there is a strong lead into season 2, but there are things that could carry over certainly. They didn't know for sure they would get recommissioned, but I think they probably had a good idea due to BBC America's cash injection and the quality of the product.

  14. I fully expected D'artagnan and Constance to be apart for most of the episode and I still fully expect them NOT to be together by the end of the series but as long as they confirm their love for one another by the end ( via that passionate kiss? etc ) I think I'll be happy.

I'll also except anything uncomfortable that D'artagnan has to do in the story. Whilst I clearly ship D and C ( see above ) I'm first and foremost a fan of Luke and seeing him have good scenes is a touch more important that D'artagnan and Constance having a Disney style ending. ( though I'd like this eventually Lol )

    ReplyDelete
  15. Lol yes and no, I had some time away from the computer to think about it after watching which helped with what I wanted to say I think. Plus everyone was so awesome it was pretty easy to just praise them XD And then I wanted to leave something to be able to answer in the comments :D

It was good to see Aramis and Porthos together again, their banter is so funny and it would have been a shame to leave the season with the last real ribbing of each other to have been at the challenge when Aramis was a bit cold about Alice :s

This so blows The Challenge out of the water for Luke, he is brilliant in this, absolutely LOVED his performance throughout! Very much how I loved Tom's Athos last week kind of brilliant :D

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hmm, the answer to your first couple of questions are hinted at in the preview, I can't really say any more than than I'm afraid. The King and Queen have a couple of scenes together iirc.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I seem to making lots of people crazy with this one, sorry lol. I wish I could say more about the Cardinal :( I have a feeling that it's something that will be a talking point come 10pm on Sunday...

Hooo ! I'm overjoyed by your answer ! I'm totally with you about Aramis and Porthos ! I would NOT have been satisfied if their last exchange has been that rather unpleasing one !

Athos-in-episode-9-kind-of-good... weeeeell... I seriously can't wait to see Luke's performance now ! And to discover what this Finale has in store for young d'Artagnan (whom I feel will grow up from whatever he'll go through during ep 10)

    ReplyDelete
  19. I think I love them all, even with their little flaws they have, they've all had some fantastic moments this season. Gonna be a long hiatus!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yes, he has a few good little moments in the episode that I'm sure his fans will enjoy. There's his bits with Porthos which are generally fun thou there are serious moments too, then the more general ensemble pieces and of course this scene with Anne, which obviously I can't say much about I'm afraid.

  21. Hi- newbie here. Discovering this place at exactly the wrong time- just as this first series is about to end :(
Wish I had been here for all the other previews- but glad I managed to catch this one- can't wait for Sunday. Thanks so much for your hard work with the spoilers/hangman/previews etc- looking back, it seems like it's been a fun place to be on here.
I'm glad all of The Musketeers are involved in this last episode- I go through stages of which one is my favourite- I tend to flit from one to the other very quickly ;)
Whilst I do love Costagnan, and I do hope we see some sort of reconciliation between them- I also want them to go about things the right way this time. Even if it means not being 'together' for a while until she sorts things out with her husband. Also- we all know that the chances are- if they are together at the end of series 1, they'll be split up again by halfway through series 2 ;) Much rather a slow burn- I was surprised their affair started up at all this series to be honest. I thought maybe a kiss may happen at the end of the series, but didn't imagine anything else.
I'll stop babbling! Sorry for the long post- and thanks again.

  22. Hi Kara, welcome :)

I know what you mean about the guys, they have been quite clever at showcasing them week by week, and switching up their pairings and adventures together which makes them all stronger characters overall, but harder to choose a favourite at times, lol. Aramis is my fav, but it was all about Athos for me this week and in the finale D'Artagnan is just superb!

I was surprised them getting together so early too, there seemed to be a lot more interested from Constance than D'Artagnan I think early on so I was also surprised that it was him that made the first move in some ways. I'm not really what you would call a shipper, but I do love Constance and have grown to love D'Artagnan too, and I think they make a sweet couple :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. How are we already at the season finale already? These short seasons are killing me.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Seeing D'Artagnan's journey into a young man from the start of the season has been very satisfying I think :)

    ReplyDelete
  25. lol, yeah. We do tend to go for shorter seasons over here in the UK I'm afraid, 10 episodes is actually not bad, many dramas only get 6, especially in their first year.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Okay, Sandi...Most. Vague. Preview. Ever.

Haha. But I loved it! You are more fab that the rest of us. Thank you for all your previews and teasers...and theories; I will miss them. *sniff sniff....sniff*

Can't wait for Sunday. So glad that you think d'Artagnan/Luke had a strong finish. I have loved his casting but thought that he needed more substance. Glad to see that he had some good moments...I think he has finished the past few episodes very well. Can't wait to see him in series two!

It's interesting - I wasn't sure of Luke or Tamla at first. They both have been outstanding and never cease to surprise me. Great casting! can't wait to see Sunday's performance from them.

Any teasers for the outcome for Milady?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Love Anne's expression...somewhat sad?

    ReplyDelete
  28. I agree with Juliet. I thought when you mentioned the part that "fans will not like" that you meant d'Artagnan sleeps with Milady!

Not sure if this bothers me or not. On one had, yes, of course it does. On the other, good for character development....regret for his relationship with Constance...? I don't know....

    ReplyDelete
  29. Any idea/news on the number of episodes for season 2 - still ten or more?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I suppose they had to advance their storyline fairly quickly- in case series two wasn't commissioned. Just a shame it felt a little rushed.
I know you won't say but my guess for one of the lines- I think Constance says the 'Untie these ropes...' line. Possibly to Sarazan (not sure I spelt that right!). From your preview, I guess she's not going to be a meek and mild hostage- hopefully we'll see BAMF Constance to the fore this week.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Sorry- know you asked Sandi- but I believe it was picked up for another 10 episodes in series 2.
Compared to most other British series, 10 episodes feels like a lot- I feel quite spoiled to have had so many! Although they do seem to have gone rather quickly... :(

    ReplyDelete
  32. Also- before I go... This preview wins all because.... DOGTANIAN!! My childhood. <3

    ReplyDelete
  33. Aww, you're too kind, it's you guys that help make these discussions happen :D I'm sorry it's so vague, but I did want to hold some stuff back to reveal over the week in comments too, plus there's the hangman...I haven't yet decided what to do as the 'prize' this week. Maybe a few character teasers?

I agree about D'Artagnan, Luke has been fantastic casting but as a character he has some growing up to do and lessons to learn, Little things like questioning if Porthos might have killed that lad in The Homecoming made him not quite fit in at times too, they have been very clever at continuity throughout I feel.

I afraid I'm not going to give anyone's end game away, it's also kind of hard to tease in some ways because many of you know my feelings on some things so I could slip up there too, lol. Hmmmm, what to say, maybe something else about her? There's not a lot of people she can rely on, she's resourceful though and conscientious, it usually falls back on her to get a job done.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yeah I believe it's got another 10 episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  35. You won't be too surprised to know that I'm not going to expand too much on that, lol, but I will say that line isn't directed at any one set of fans in particular.

    ReplyDelete
  36. That's interesting because I felt the vibe between these two immediately and by the end of episode one, thought he was clearly intrigued on a physical level, judging by his evident fascination with her boobs! lol Which she called him on brilliantly. I think he was also drawn to her selflessness and bravery, saving his life during the confrontation with the man who killed his father. I remember someone put it brilliantly when they said they loved watching Luke Pasqualino looking at Tamla Kari like she's made of cake, lol. I couldn't have put it better myself. It's been scrumptious and it says it all about how quickly they've established their characters and the bond between them that the surprising ignition of all those sparks, followed so rapidly by the sudden end to their relationship felt heartbreaking and profoundly wrong, even after such a short time.

I suspect though that whatever happens on Sunday, Bonacieux will somehow stick around as a thorn in the side of the relationship next year. If that happens I hope he becomes more of a character and less of a caricature in future. I can't help feeling though that Constance will end this episode by deciding once and for all to abandon her "respectable life" and choose to be thoroughly disreputable with the love of her life...given what's on offer, can't say that I blame her!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I think you possibly pick more quickly on what your favourite characters feel maybe, at the start of the season I was more interested the other three Musketeers for sure. I've also never really been into ships...I've joked before that I've spent more time talking about romances on a show in the last three weeks than I have in the last 7 years on this site, lol. So I guess it's just something I didn't really take too much notice of in a lot of ways.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Ha, yes! Had to get a bit of Dogtanian in before the season ended, and this was the perfect time for it ;)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Like you Kara, I love the fact that Constance isn't going to be the stereotypical damsel in distress. She's a fighter every bit as much as the man she loves. A brave woman, for a brave man. I really don't mind that they'll not share many scenes together as that's not really unusual in the episodes to date and I like her character to be her own woman and navigate her own path, rather than merely act as his accessory. I also have no doubt that the scenes we get will be some high octane, thoroughly memorable stuff. Can't wait!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I can get that definitely and think you're right. I have to say Luke Pasqualino had me at the original trailer. He was a post-Christmas, surprise treat, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  41. But ten is too few!!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. But they are longer episodes on average. And that's something. :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. Agreed. They will be together eventually as long as they don't follow Dumas and kill her off! BBC keeps labeling Constance as his "one true love." I keep wondering if they chose to do that for those who haven't read the book or because their plots might be a bit dismal and confusing.

Either way, because I know that the end result (whenever that may be) will most likely be them together, I'm okay with some drama now. I just want a good story. Good stories make good relationships in my opinion. D'Artagnan sleeping with Milady might not bother me if it adds to a story that I can behind. Also it might be heartbreakingly bittersweet to see an enlightened, loving d'Artagnan save Constance only to have to give her back to Bonacieux and wait for another day (or series...haha).

    ReplyDelete
  44. Was he greasy and uncooth??? =)

    ReplyDelete
  45. That is something...yet still something short. =(

    ReplyDelete
  46. Honestly, I think I'm a little speculated out at this point. I know the points I'm hoping the finale will hit. Now it's just wait and see, and you pretty much know what those are.

Only thing I'd add is that I am hoping for balanced time with all the Musketeers and possibly some balanced time with the four of them together (I love when they've paired up, but I like the full dynamic).

Hoping the "All for one" moment is all it should be.

Cheesily, I've secretly lived in fear that they'd start tripping up and start turning d'Artagnan into a Marty Stu, but they've handled his youth and enthusiasm well. Now I just want good story points for all of them.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Word. I so agree with you on this. How to make that happen? - I've got nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Well......is she relying on d'Artagnan? Or just lying on him??? ;)

    ReplyDelete
  49. I agree about speculation...feel like I am repeating myself at this point.

Now, if Sandi decides to drop a few more clues, I may continue speculating...

    ReplyDelete
  50. Heh. ;) I'll be lurking to read such speculations.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Haha, yes!! Also quite manipulative, and a bit of a stupid wretch who thinks he's better than he really is in some ways.

    ReplyDelete
  52. No filler though, and no burn out on the cast and crew who also get time to go and do other projects between seasons in order to have a break and come back to their roles refreshed.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Or to him? Or him to her?? Or them to everyone??? Or everyone to them???? :O XD

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'm a huge fan of D'Artagnan and Constance. I love both characters a whole lot. And I love Tamla and Luke in these roles. So I support both of them. :)

What I mean to stay is that as a viewer, I would be really disappointed to see D'Artagnan sleep with Milady. I'm sure it's understandable why he'd do that if that's the case. Constance just broke his heart and told him she doesn't love him. She also told him to go to Milady. So IF he did sleep with Milady again, I'm sure Constance wouldn't hold it against him since they were broken up. I guess as a viewer, I would prefer that D'Artagnan refused Milady's advances. Thus, showing his intelligence and growth as a character. D'Artagnan is not the same man we saw in the first episode. It's now episode 10. And characters need to grow and develop over a span of episodes and in story telling. It's obvious to D'Artagnan that something is fishy/off about Milady. He might not know exactly who she is. But he knows that their first night together left someone dead. He knows she isn't exactly a good woman.

There is not much we can do about what the writers will decide to show. Hopefully, D'Artagnan and Constance will be fine. From the promo pic, it looks like they are kissing and holding each other in an emotional way. I just don't want for Constance to be upset with D'Artagnan if worst comes to worst ...and he did sleep with Milady again. I'd want for her to understand the situation instead of it being used as more angst again for the couple. Unnecessary angst is something I don't really like on tv. There is a difference between good story telling and unnecessary soap opera drama/angst.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I forgot to ask, Sandi! :)

Are you allowed to say if Constance will say "I love you" back to D'Artagnan? Just curious. We know she does since she told her husband that. But I wonder if she'll get a chance to say it to D'Artagnan. :)

And are we only getting 1 scene with D'Artagnan and Constance? Or more? You did say that she was held hostage the entire episode basically. So I'm wondering if they'll get more than 1 scene at least. I mean, it is a LONG hiatus until series 2! I think I read that filming will start on April 7th somewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I agree..

It actually wouldn't bother me ( much ) if series 3 was a good two years after series 2, in order for the actors to do other projects. I believe the latest series of 'Rev' has been a couple of years in the making, so that the lead actors could do other things and not suffer from burn out.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I think the main reason the producers started D'artagnan and Constance's affair so early, was so that the series final would be emotionally draining for D'artagnan. If he and Constance hadn't been at that 'in love' stage by the final, the stakes for D'artagnan might have been a bit lower and less dramatic.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I don't think D'artagnan looking at Constance's boobs in episode 1 had anything to do with physical attraction, that was just D'artagnan being a young man, Lol. Any pair of boobs ( including Malidy's ) would have got his attention and I'll stop there before lowering the tone of the thread.

Constance may have noticed D'artagnan's pretty face in episode 1 - that's physical attraction.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Would that be due to the theme tune, which repeats a certain phrase that we are going to hear on Sunday? ;)

    ReplyDelete
  60. I feel a 'it was nice but it'll never happen again' vibe...

    ReplyDelete
  61. Agreed. I might sleep with Milady, but I see him more doing it to prove her he's on her side than because he wants her...

  62. I guess I can see why it happened for the story's sake, but less so in terms of the characters- well Constance certainly. Constance seems like someone who would always do the 'right' thing- even if it made her thoroughly unhappy- an affair just didn't seem like something she would do. Kissing/falling for D'Artagnan and feeling guilty about it because she is married (even if it is to someone she doesn't love)? I could see her doing. Having an affair to the point where they are openly standing in the middle of the street kissing? Not so much. I just feel like she'd be more careful/sensitive than that- whatever she thinks of him as a husband- up until that point Bonacieux had not given her a reason to be that thoughtless toward him. I suppose it's to show that she's so in love that she's not thinking- but she's usually a lot more considered. At the end of episode 7, I remember thinking that episode 8 would have her feeling guilty about what she'd done- I must admit I was surprised that they'd continued where they left off. ;)
Please don't get me wrong- I love the relationship Constance and D'Artagnan have, and I hope they end up together, but I just wish it had started in a different way.

  64. Meant to ask- do the other Musketeers show concern for Constance in more than a 'we've got to help this random damsel in distress' way? I would really love her to have friendships with all of them- and I'm hoping on Sunday that it is clear that she is more than 'just' some person they have to rescue. I want Porthos going all Hulk about it or something :D

  65. I can see where many fans may find the adultery difficult. I think that's intentional. I'm actually very glad they haven't fudged this issue as other versions of the story have by portraying Bonacieux as Constance's Uncle etc. It's difficult and it's complicated but this feels genuine. I think we're meant to see their relationship as based on an overwhelming love. One that neither of them can, or want to fight against. It's not motivated by rationality, it's intense, passionate and spontaneous. It's wonderfully exciting for them but sadly inherently cruel for those rendered surplus to requirements as a result. Like her Musketeer, Constance is learning some painful life lessons not least if which is that the incredibly strong love that she craved to feel, can come with a cost.

D'Artagnan is the man, who in the modern era, Constance would have been able to discover in time. The love of her life, her soulmate. Instead circumstance forced her into a convenient but loveless union. The result is an unhappy mess from which she's unable to escape and retain her "respectability". I'm glad they don't shy away from that dilemma.

  66. Lol, you have a point but in fairness he'd clearly already noticed that she was a beautiful woman and indeed already described her as such during their conversation in the bedroom after she retrieved him from the ground in the market. Frankly she has a pulse and judging by the way she was checking him out as he stumbled to out his shirt on in that scene, she was noticing more than just his pretty face.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Thank you! That's a relieve...

  68. I CAN'T WAIT to see drunk Athos again! I've missed his manpain and Burke was so good in his intro scene or at La Fère... If you had Milady to the mix and the fact that now, he's really pissed..it's bond to be brilliant right?! I'm really impatient to see him reveal to Aramis/Porthos the real identity of Milady. Hope this scene delivers.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Ahhh- that's why Constance's maid has a speaking part- she's going to take down the Cardinal ;) lol.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Seriously though, I'm intrigued as to who it will be... Part of me thinks it may be Milady- but then that's not really a surprise? The King maybe?

  72. I have a theory about the Milady/Musketeers wood scene. I think it may be to do with the bit in your preview about Milady 'making promises she doesn't intend to keep'. I think they may let her go (possibly because she does something to help them in the end??) with the usual 'don't show your face around here, or you'll pay for your crimes' warning. Guessing she doesn't intend to keep it because she'll be back next series? Or that it happens part way through the episode, and then she returns with Sarazin to wreak havoc.... Probably completely wrong!

    ReplyDelete
  73. All very true...
I would have had a good look too if I'd been Constance.. :)

    ReplyDelete
  74. I agree, D'artagnan and Constance having a passionate affair - despite the husband - does make their feelings more real. Like Dumas himself apparently said "love is the most selfish of all the passions" because it's a very powerful emotion.
I'm pleased the show didn't shy away from their affair either and it'll be interesting to see where their relationship is taken in series 2.

Hooo... According to Jessica pope, we'll get 4 of the things in the list you've showed earlier https://twitter.com/MusketeersFans/status/448148408302194688/photo/1. So Richelieu's epic showdown is one of them.. ?

    ReplyDelete
  76. In that case, can we rule out one or more of the four Musketeers? Not that you'll answer that.....
I'm guessing Milady or Treville, since the Cardinal and Treville have had quite a few arguementative scenes together and I'm not sure we've seen the last of Milady.

    Character teasers ..? That's interesting... Let's go solve this Hangman !! =D

    ReplyDelete
  78. Many good points here. Regarding Bonacieux, where I feel the book itself fudged this issue was by making him such a flat character. He was a card-board cut-out, a non-person, barely any depth or much realism to him. Though Constance and d'Artagnan never got together in the book, and never consummated their relationship or took it to that affair place, I feel like the portrayal of Bonacieux was a bit of the cheap way out to back up their attraction to each other.

Since they didn't shy away from the full-fledged affair on the show, I wish they'd actually make Bonacieux a more real character, not just a caricature portrayed as deserving of his wife's actions because he's boring.

    ReplyDelete
  79. lol. Contributing to the lowering tone of the thread: Funny thing is I've seen his staring at her boobs listed in a few different places as evidence that he felt a connection/was attracted to her right from the start, when realistically just about any young man would have been looking at her boobs in that outfit. I just don't think we can use a man looking at a woman's breast as a sign he's found his one true love. ;)

  80. If it's any consolation, the clocks go forward on Sunday, which means 1 hour less to wait..

    ReplyDelete
  81. I'm so excited for drunk Athos as well. So brooding....and volatile!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Good question! She has done a lot for them. But I wonder if they will be forced in a position to choose going after the Cardinal, helping Athos, or saving Constance. Hhhmmm.

I had a thought about that the other day. There was a still from the trailer floating around the internet a few weeks back of d'Artagnan fighting Sarazin.....obviously after the pic of Constance "being released." Can't figure out how that works. Is she just sitting around waiting for the fight to be over, hiding behind a barrel? LOL. Is d'Artagnan fighting all by himself? Can't wait to find out!

    ReplyDelete
  83. Oh, I agree! I hate it when seasons are rushed back to back and then the plots suffer for it. I'm just selfish. I was just getting to know this guys! Haha.

Hiatuses have not been my friend this year. I feel that all my shows have not returned quite the same....

    ReplyDelete
  84. All thanks to the good writing and acting! It really was funny to me. We all went from "wait....what?" when d'Artagnan declared love to being completely dejected after episode 9. Hahaha. Those silly writers! They hooked us all in!

  85. I'm a bit late updating it (damn migraine) so have added the winning two letters, and I've promoted @bronniebrave's post to the top of the comments so people may see it.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Haha yes, she wrestles him to the ground WWF style ;)

    ReplyDelete
  87. This is true. So many people in this thread are wanting it to be Sunday night and are glad it's an hour shorter this weekend, how often does that happen? XD

    ReplyDelete
  88. I would think D'artagnan has the main role of saving Constance, putting his life in danger as testament to how much he loves her. Constance did say in episode 6 that she wondered what it would be like to love someone or something so much, you'd put their life above your own - which might have been foreshadowing for D'artagnan in the final or Constance having to break his heart in episode 8.

I do think Athos will be more concerned with Milady, though of course the others will help D'artagnan to a degree.

    ReplyDelete
  89. :D (that's about the hangman, not your migraine!)

    ReplyDelete
  90. They did indeed, lol. They have done the story very well on reflection imo.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Considering just how many heaving bosoms there are in this show it's surprising how rare the tone of these threads does get lowered tbh, lol. As I've mentioned in the preview above, the King's is definitely distracted by one corseted lass this week, and it's not subtle at all!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Ugh, I already voted for B! Haha.

    ReplyDelete
  93. lol. I think B will win. I was just trying to take up bronniebrave's suggestion that we try to coordinate to get some of the least popular letters voted in, since those letters tend to show up in unique words that are easier to guess.

I'm not imagining something similar to this scene with Aramis. this one was rather "light", even if Athos clearly didn't approve lol. I have a feeling that in the case of d'Artagnan and Milady, it will not be the same...

    ReplyDelete
  103. Yes, of course, I know it will be completely different, and I want it to be. I just loved that scene with Aramis so it keeps coming to mind! Haha.

Oh :( I wasn't seeing it as "it feels like the end" but now I don't know anymore (I'm a little sad lol). I guess we all read what we want in her expression, but it is rather indecipherable to me...

    ReplyDelete
  105. Come on Q!!

    ReplyDelete
  106. I think anything that happens with Milady will be primarily motivated by D'Artagnan's need to know the truth. As you rightly say Juliet, he knows she's manipulative and ultimately lethal. He may also be beginning to suspect that he's being played by her and what he doesn't understand but needs to discover, are her current motives. He knows that seduction is part if her m.o. and therefore may play along in the hope of finding the truth. It's a high stakes game though and I would imagine he'll be completely blindsided by what happens to Constance and most likely guilt-ridden that he has inadvertently placed her in the path if a couple if homicidal maniacs. Seriously D'Artagnan, next time, try saying it with flowers....lol.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Intriguing. Maybe the Queen? As we saw on Sunday beneath all that ethereal stuff, she can be fiery. Just ask Aramis. I wouldn't be surprised that she sees that posh spaniel of a husband flirting with the Count's daughter and puts two and two together. As she has yet to successfully produce the heir, she's become surplus to requirements and he's decided to trade her in for a spot of German engineering, or rather the Cardinal has. In the absence of a quickie divorce, the Cardinal has been playing the role of fixer and going for a quickie funeral instead. I just wonder if the real surprise may be that having experienced the healing powers of Aramis, the Queen may be about to deliver her own surprise and Aramis may indeed have done his duty for France....

    ReplyDelete
  108. Excellent. Hadn't thought of that.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Love the idea of Porthos going all Hulk.lol. I really can't wait for those scenes. I thought they would be fabulous and am delighted that Sandi thought it was a cool rescue. I'm particularly looking forward to the moment when D'Artagnan and Constance lay eyes on each other again. Soooo much going on there given how things were left between them. All that longing and heartache coupled with the fear and anxiety of the situation and the sight of an injured Constance and D'Artagnan in full on hero mode. It's going to be like mainlining a shot of adrenalin!

    ReplyDelete
  110. Sure, party at my place :D lol

    ReplyDelete
  111. I have written them this afternoon, nothing too much just little cryptic teasers to work out/discuss.

    ReplyDelete
  112. we've been?

    ReplyDelete
  113. Haha, that was such a great scene between the two of them! I'm afraid there is no "Are we good?" moment at the end of this one though, more of a "You bloody idjit!?!" one XD

    ReplyDelete
  114. lol. Well, at least we tried. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  115. I completely agree with you about the one dimensional portrayal of Bonacieux. I think it's the fact that he has been depicted as a caricature that means there could be the perception that the message is, "Look at this pathetic bloke. He's so boring it's little wonder Constance cheated on him." I actually think that the key here is that it isn't really about Bonacieux and how he treated or didn't treat Constance. For me the most important scene was when he asked Constance if he had made her unhappy and she said it wasn't that he had, it's that until she met a D'Artagnan she didn't actually know what happiness was. D'Artagnan has opened up a whole new world to her, in every sense. It's as though she's been asleep and has just been woken up. I think in a modern interpretation of the characters, a bit more subtlety and a bit less prat would have benefitted the storytelling.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I agree, and it certainly would have made for a deeper, more adult story (imo). Perhaps making it less of the fairytale romance while her husband turns into the mustache-twisting and hapless villain who ties her to the train tracks, and more a story of realistic nuance. On the whole, I think they've done a decent job creating motivation for Constance, but it's also just felt like it could have been done better on the whole.

    ReplyDelete
  117. This is turning into boobgate! Lol. I certainly don't think checking her out is, or was intended as a sign of true love. True lust definitely. I actually think the moment reinforced the sense of his youth and to an extent illustrated a key part of his personality, the fact that he doesn't conceal but rather is instinctual and often reacts without thinking. He's without guile but equally sometimes without judgement. I think we've seen much more meaningful scenes that have given us plenty of evidence of the depth of their love for each other.

    ReplyDelete
  118. B was a terrible choice...sorry. Lol I will go with Q this time.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Yes- their reunion is certainly going to be intense! Looking forward to it- but also apprehensive about what may come after... Not sure why- just have a feeling this series may not end on an entirely happy note for them. :(

    ReplyDelete
  120. I don't know why- but I'm apprehensive about scene number 2! I hope I'm wrong...

    ReplyDelete
  121. “I could blow your brains out now and never think of you again” Going to guess this is Aramis to Milady. Or the other way around. :)

    ReplyDelete
  122. I can see where you're anxiety is coming from but I think there's probably a limit to the amount of angst they'll throw at us. We've already had the get together followed by the whiplash break up. Another get together followed by a catastrophe would be more than a bit ridiculous and runs the risk of making the relationship laughable. I don't know that Constance has a huge range of options in terms of physically leaving Bonacieux. This is likely to mean that D'Artagnan must watch her return to the marital home. However, I think it will be clear that emotionally Constance is committed to a D'Artagnan and he to her, which essentially means that her marriage is dead. D'Artagnan won't give her up no matter what the threats, real or implied and Cinstance won't give him up. The ball is then in Bonacieux's court for series two. Could he align himself with the next major villain, to exact the revenge he could never take alone? Or does he take his own mistress and the pair lead essentially separate lives? Whatever happens Constance needs to be in a position to retain her own strength and develop the characterisation that's been built up. Also she needs to be able to interact with the Musketeers, join them in their adventures and continue to explore her passion for D'Artagnan. No pressure then writers, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Right, and my comment wasn't meant to be directed at you specifically, I've just - like I said - I've just oddly seen the staring-at-the-boobs things in several places billed as a sign of their epic love at first sight, and it created some wonderment in me. Your comment was definitely more light and joking about it, I just think it's been odd how it's been billed elsewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Aramis is the ruthless one, so I could see it. I could also see Milady saying it to d'Artagnan.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Not so terrible. We now have "we've been" we think as the 12th and 13th words, so that's something. Hoping Q will take this next one though.

    ReplyDelete
  126. “Well, now you must choose D'Artagnan. If you help her you’re not fit to call yourself a Musketeer”
    - Athos to d'Artagnan about Milady maybe?

“Untie these ropes and I’ll show you what a woman can do”
    - Constance to Sarazin

“Unfortunately D'Artagnan is unable to attend, he did however send me to look after you”
    - Maybe Aramis to Constance? (After her rescue?)

“A respectable woman doesn't just disappear in broad daylight. For goodness sake!”
    - Someone (I know, that's a super specific guess ;p) about Constance after she disappears/gets abducted.

“Tell me what really happened between you and Athos”
    - d'Artagnan to Milady?

“Their code of honour demands my debt, believe me I know how they think”

    - I'm waffling on this one. Maybe the cardinal?

    ReplyDelete
  127. I think you're right that Bonacieux and Constance's marriage - if it makes it into series 2 - will never be the same again. Not only did Constance have an affair but told Bonacieux to his face that she loved D'artagnan and wouldn't give him up - which was quite brave of her, I must admit, when you consider what little independence most women had back then.

If she remains married to Bonacieux but emotionally committed to D'artagnan - though not physically - than I suppose that's a half way house that most fans will except.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Oops- I meant Athos! I was tired last night when I wrote it! I think one of them may say it to the other in order to try to prove they don't have a hold over each other any more. I can see Milady saying 'you can't kill me- you still love me' or something, and then Athos saying 'I could blow your brains out....'

    ReplyDelete
  129. I agree here too, that Bonacieux has been painted in such a light that it's actually difficult to know how I'm supposed to feel about him. When he asked Constance "were you ever unhappy?" I almost felt sorry for him but not totally, since he went through D'artagnan's personal things in his bedroom.

One piece of contrived writing from the producers that does leave a question mark - when the Cardinal asked Bonacieux to spy on D'artagnan, was this information given to the Cardinal or was the scene just put in as a way of getting Bonacieux to discover Constance's affair?

    ReplyDelete
  130. “Their code of honour demands my debt, believe me I know how they think”
I'm thinking more Milady saying this about the musketeers.

    ReplyDelete
  131. “I could blow your brains out now and never think of you again”
I think it's Milady to d'Artagnan, we saw in the preview she has him at gun point...

    ReplyDelete
  132. I thought maybe that “Unfortunately D'Artagnan is unable to attend, he did however send me to look after you” is going to be Milady or Sarazin? Maybe they set her up to think D'Artagnan wants to meet her, and that's how they get hold of her to take her hostage?
I like the idea of it being another of the Musketeers though :)

    ReplyDelete
  133. It was brave and the right thing to do, to address Constance's failed marriage but the problem is they now essentially need Bonacieux to get out of the way to allow the story to move forward and they have a limited range of options as to how to do this. One course is to kill him off at some point. This dilemma by it's nature, limits what they can actually do with the character. I know he likes his air of respectability but will he choke his personal humiliation down in order to maintain it, or will he find a way to make them suffer. As you say Tigercheetah, he knows she loves another man whom she won't give up and I suspect he's about to discover, won't give her up. This isn't some transient fling. I would also seriously doubt that D'Artagnan and Constance won't continue to secretly pursue the physical aspect of their relationship and there's actually more potential scope to do that now that he no longer lives in the Bonacieux home. Certainly sneaking in and out of the Garrison, or going off for private assignations will dent Constance's veneer of "respectability" somewhat lol. They need to be careful though that it doesn't damage their relationship with the audience, who may initially indulge this love story but who may increasingly see their actions towards. Bonacieux as cruel and his depiction as a boring prat as merely convenient.

    ReplyDelete
  134. As I understand it the actor was only on set for one block of filming, probably due to the logistics of setting up all the other characters and just using him as a foil for keeping Constance and D'Artagnan apart. He's certainly the least developed character imo, which is a shame but with such a large cast I do understand how difficult it is to juggle all these plates.

    ReplyDelete
  135. The whole of that scene is intense for many characters, it's pretty long ensemble piece and a few things happen/get resolved in it :)

    ReplyDelete
  136. "boring prat" is such a great description of him, as is him liking his air of respectability. I think that the actor has done pretty well with what little screen time that he has had, it's a shame that they hadn't the time to build his character up more over the season into some more in many ways.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Some great guesses coming in on the dialogue teasers, some are spot on!

    ReplyDelete
  138. I agree. I wondered if this will be how Milady finds out about the affair. I could see Bonacieux accidentally (in his pratly way) blurting it out when they question him about "what he has discovered on d'Artagnan."

    ReplyDelete
  139. It's good to know our brain cells are working quite in the right direction...xD

  141. I think many of the theories here have been pretty good in general, I'd say we've been right at least 50% of the time over the season, if not more. Which isn't bad considering we were calling them wild speculation, lol

    ReplyDelete
  142. I dunno if that's in the tavern from the sneak peek?

    ReplyDelete
  143. Background is blurry so that we can't figure it out! But since you have seen the episode, why don't you just tell us what scene it is from....and who she is shooting. =)

(maybe the girl sitting next to Pertwee in the tavern ? I'm not sure)

    ReplyDelete
  150. Maybe Constance's maid?

    ReplyDelete
  151. I'm going out on a limb and am actually going to guess that this could be King Louis to the Cardinal, or that it has to do with the plot around the trial with Mellendorf and his daughter. Totally out on a limb, but I could see it.

    ReplyDelete
  152. A lot of these are my guesses too.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Good theory. That's a tough one for context.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Now the word with the Q: quality? quartet? :p

    ReplyDelete
  155. Now we need some vowels.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Like you said they never actually had the affair in the book, so if we're applauding the writers for being truer to the source material, I think the writers have to be careful about what they're wanting the audience to connect with in the characters. And as an audience, which parts of the book do we really want them to be true to and why?

The source material also has Constance dying and I don't think some fans would mind if the writers didn't stay true to that or shied away from it.

Going forth with the more challenging plot of Constance being married, I also would have wanted Bonacieux to be portrayed as a more real person. Boring prat he is maybe, but I think he at least has been honorable in caring for his wife. Cruel after finding out about the affair, but...

  157. I feel like someone is going to stone me for saying this, but I think the opposite is just as true if not more so: That when you ship a couple, you see things there you want to see that may not actually be there to the extent that you believe they are, or they're there but don't have the meaning you put behind them. (hides) Not saying that's always true, but, boy it can be.

  158. Luke has been sharing some photos of the bootcamp, here they are sitting round the camp-fire last night after a day out on the horses :D

    ReplyDelete
  159. I so love that they're revving up to flim right now. That we're going to have to wait for those new episodes... ah!

    ReplyDelete
  160. Me too, I hope we get little bit and pieces even if they are just like this over the next 6-7 months of filming. They obviously enjoy their time together, as the characters do too.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Me too. And if you do get those bits and pieces, you'll post them here right? Give us a few drops of water in the desert to join over before the show comes back?

    ReplyDelete
  162. I think I will have to discuss with @DarkUFO the best to go about this and get back to you, maybe regular filming update posts might be an idea.

    ReplyDelete
  163. I think that can be true too, looking at some who want Anne and Aramis to be happy ever after when she is Queen is a tough ship for example, and I think over looking that point is easily done sometimes.

    ReplyDelete
  164. I'm not going to say much here, but as a small tease Bonacieux does say one thing to redeem himself a bit, and one thing less noble in the finale. Though I do feel that how people feel about him will depend on where you sit on the Constance/D'Artagnan fence. I feel they are trying somewhat with him, but are struggling a bit with the time that they have to play with :(

    ReplyDelete
  165. Yep, that's her. Though sitting is being kind, more kind of slumped over drunk I'd say XD

    ReplyDelete
  166. I could see that being the scenario.

    ReplyDelete
  167. I kinda figured you meant Athos, but... Aramis would be a fun twist. :)

I still think it's most likely Milady to d'Artagnan though.

    ReplyDelete
  168. I agree with you and find this to be most annoying at times, so I'll do my best to defend you if a stoning arises. Haha.

    ReplyDelete
  169. Facial hair abounds! Wow, our gents are looking rather scruffy. LOL.

Ho yes, please !! That would be wonderful =D

    ReplyDelete
  171. I think both can definitely be true.

This may not be in the same vein as what you're talking about but I think some fans falter in trying to justify or make perfect everything their favorite couple or character does. They can overly vilify characters that get in the way of their ship, minimize circumstances and/or the risky or poor choices the characters make, and disregard some of the nuance in the plot lines.

On The Musketeers, we have nuanced and flawed characters, with vices and weaknesses, who find their honor in the Musketeers and sort of struggle everywhere else. The writers could have done better in some areas, but it's made for some pretty dynamic storytelling.

That's why, even when I like a couple, I don't call myself a "shipper" : I don't really find "happy ever after" interesting, nor "cute couples doing couple stuff". But I really don't blame fans who searsh for romance everywhere. I like romance too, but I'm more "Moulin Rouge" and "Anna Karenina" than "Twilight" and "Valentine's Day".

    ReplyDelete
  173. Yes! I agree. "Happy Ever After" has to be earned in order to not be boring, imo.

I love Moulin Rouge. I posted on the episode 8 discussion that I thought it had a Moulin Rouge quality to it - hurting someone to save him.

  174. To put a more youthful spin on it: I'm more "Frozen" less "The Little Mermaid"

    :)

    ReplyDelete
  175. I've definitely seen this to be true.

And I really like what you said here, "We have nuanced and flawed characters with vices and weaknesses who find their honor in the Musketeers and sort of struggle everywhere else."

So true! My favorite scene that pretty much illustrated this to a T was our first introduction to Athos, watching him slowly transform from total drunkard to awesome and well-put-together musketeer as he put on his uniform. Really liked that.

They do all have their vices. Many may not see the pursuit of true love in d'Artagnan's affair with Constance as a vice, but it kinda can be in some ways.

    ReplyDelete
  176. Thank you! :) Ha

I do actually hate to upset people.

    ReplyDelete
  177. I'm so sappy. I love it.

    ReplyDelete
  178. We all wish you could say more about the Cardinal, lol, but we understand.

    ReplyDelete
  179. That was a great scene. Athos going from dunking his head into a bucket of icy water to swishing his sword around with precision. It was a lovely and spot on way to introduce his character: a totally awesome musketeer with a whole heap of self-destructive issues underneath the uniform.

Come to think of it they introduced all three musketeers (and d'Artagnan to an extent) via their vices, and then kind of showed how being a musketeer gave them each direction and purpose together. Nice, I hadn't picked up on that before in precisely that way.

  180. I don't think you're too far out on a limb. It seems as viable as any of the other possibilities.

    ReplyDelete
  181. I realize we're just joking here but, truth be told, I'm going to be devastated if they take Treville out of the picture this early on. Please no, please no, please no. (Chanting helps these sort of things, right?) ;)

    ReplyDelete
  182. They were some damn fine cookies. They didn't deserve that fate.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Competition for the next letter is looking pretty fierce. :)

  184. LuckyNumberSLVN27 March 2014 at 18:06

I'll chant with you then ;)

    ReplyDelete
  185. I'm really curious about Milady's fate..
Usually (though not always) bad guys die or are brought to justice in other ways but a part of me wonders if the producers were unwilling to let go of Milady, especially with Peter Capaldi being absent next year.

    ReplyDelete
  186. *joins in chanting* Although part of me thinks Sandi wouldn't have picked him for the joke, if Treville actually does die.... Right?? ;)

    ReplyDelete
  187. That would be really great. I came to the fandom late- feel I've just got started and now the show is finished for 9/10 months! :) I'd been keeping an eye on Twitter, but it's been so nice to find you all to talk to! :)

    ReplyDelete
  188. I hope she stays- she strikes me as someone who would move on to the next person willing to hire her... I don't see any real loyalty to the Cardinal- more loyalty towards the money he provides her with.

    ReplyDelete
  189. “If you ever fail in your duty again, I will not be so lenient” - Cardinal to Milady for failing to kill the Queen?

    ReplyDelete
  190. Yep, I think that's some quality guessing River. The King would be my guess too. He's probably trying to figure out what motivated Mellendorf. The Cardinal having given him his narrative.

    ReplyDelete
  191. Yep- you're probably right... Wonder what leads to her pointing a gun at his head? I'm really intrigued to find out how all the little bits and pieces of information we have fit together into one whole episode. And which bits we don't know about at all!

    ReplyDelete
  192. He's one myself and my other reviewer friend have been talking about for sure since we've seen it, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  193. Me either, it's a great observation of the guys :D

    ReplyDelete
  194. I've been doing these teasers for many years now, I am the master of double bluffs.....or am I.....who knows ;) hehe

    ReplyDelete
  195. Damn Treville and his sugar crazed thievery :>D !!
