  1. I hope Cas doesn't take Metatron's deal.

And wait, didn't all of Mary's siblings die in real life? Like I'm pretty sure I remember reading she was her mother's only surviving child.

  2. Both TTP and Arrow sound really good.

  3. TO - oh Klaus and his accusations...as if he never did anything to impress a girl. Any episode featuring Thierry is a good one

SPN - don't take the deal Cas, DON'T

Arrow - So Sara survives episode 18 and Thea is STILL held captive ? That's it, I'm out. Wake me up when Malolm returns or Sara dies. Guess the ratings will drop a 0.00000000000000000000001 (probably overestimated)

  4. Arrow sounds good. I think Laurel will discover that her father knows the Arrow's identity.

TTP looks awesome and I have no clue what to expect, even with the release.

  5. Surely a ratings drop of 0.00000000000000000000001 wouldn't affect the demo ratings at all?

  6. Arrow,Reign, VD and Originals sound good. All of my favorites. But here is Reign is making an error. Mary's brother could have a bigger role and a more popular actor could attract more viewers. Excited for Paul's directing debut. Thea will suffer a tough time, I assume Diggle or Fel will get hurt. I really hope these witches(except Davina)die on Originals soon and a new bunch of witches come, Mo.ique and Red head are to bland and slutty.

  7. I was kidding.....obviously

  8. TTP: The epsiode descriptions for this show never sound all that interesitng but I'll finish out the season. I do hope the show does start wrapping up a bit since it hasn't ben renwed for a second season though - I hate it when it just ends on big cliff-hanger.

TO: I read this online a few days ago so it must have already been out. I'm glad that Klaus is not just going to be focusing on the Cresent wolves and we'll see more his clan. I've been waiting for them to get into that. I'm all for Diego splitting away from Marcel/Thierry and having his own agenda. I have no idea what Klaus would give Davina - I hope it's not more of Esther's spells though (Elijah has been handing those out a lot). I would like to side Hayley side with the werewolves though - that seems to be the logical place her story-arc would go. She's been trying to meet these werewolves since we were introduced to her character on TVD and she lead 12 hybrids to the slaughter in order to find out where her biological parents were burried for Shane so the only thing she's been consistent about so far is her obession with her werewolf "family" so I think they should keep her character on that path. I think that (from the preview) Marcel or one of the other vampires sets off a bomb or something in the bayou. Marcel I think it going to play Elijah and Klaus against each other I think (Klaus aligning with the wolves, Elijah aligning with the vampires) and we know Diego hates werewolves so he may also want to blow them up.

SPN: We're back to the Angel storyline so I guess we'll be taking a break from Abbadon again. Not really anything in the description that wasn't obvious in the promo.

The 100: I'm really disappointed they're already introducing so many romances on this show. There are so many more pressing things for them to be worried about - food, shelter, water, the Grounders who are already there and would see these teenagers as being invaders in their territory.

TVD: First sentance sounds like fanservice for the Stelena shippers. Grams is making a cameo! I guess Enzo is looking for Maggie (although I won't be surprised if Damon killed her or if she turns up alive). I'm glad to see Matt/Jeremy/Tyler working together. Jeremy/Tyler was explored in the first two seasons than it was just dropped and in Season 4 we had Jeremy/Matt but Tyler's story-lines only revolved around Klaus/Caroline. So I hope they get some good stuff. More back-story on the Travelers - I guess we'll finally learn what they're up to. I assume this is the episode with Kol as well - since he encounted Matt on The Other Side in the Paleyfest Promo.

  9. She was the only legitimate child of
James V that survived. He had two illegitimate sons - Robert Stewart &

James Stewart. But I don't think Mary's mother (Mary of Guise) had any other children that survived.

  10. It doesn't say anything about Thea being held captive. I'm sure she knows about Malcolm and that's the breaking point.

  11. Dullena is the pairing getting fanservice. Stefan and Elena are the main couple, whether people like it or not, it's in the dna of the show, it's their story

    ReplyDelete
  12. So confused by Reign's synopsis. How could Mary have a brother?! She wouldn't be Mary Queen of Scots if she did. The whole succession would have changed if she had a surviving brother. I am by no mean one of those people who criticize a show for not sticking with history, but I think big historical markers should be observed, and Mary being the only surviving child of Marie and James should be one of them. Ugh, Reign.

  13. She had two brothers - but they were illegitimate so they didn't have claim to the throne.

James Stewart, 1st Earl of Moray (Mary's paternal half-brother) was assassinated in 1570 (by James Hamilton of Bothwellhaugh and Woodhouselee). So she did in fact have a brother named James.

  14. sadly it's not anymore.
We all know that originally the show started out from Stefans perspective ('I'm a vampire and this is my story') but the writers apparently said 'f*** that' and went with the fanservice as endgame

  15. I hope Metatron isn't going to kill all of Cas' angels to try to make him join. I'm so tired of the dead angel parade.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Oh I see. Okay. Thanks!

  17. The Originals - That's cold, Originals producers. The huge synopsis involves every other regular on the show except Camille and all she gets is a 'Leah Pipes also stars.' They totally just Madeleine Mantock'd her.
Arrow - This show better be careful not to make Slade formidable to the point where he seems omnipotent. They're already stretching it with the extent of his capabilities and resources.
The Vampire Diaries - I have no immediate objections to this synopsis except for the dream bullsh*t.
Hart of Dixie - Time is quickly running out to right the ship on this show before the end.

  18. They broke up in Season 4 though - so the show is not about that anymore. Elena has been with Damon about 4x07 (and made out with him at the motel back in Season 3 and even kissed him at the end of Season 2 - so it wasn't like it was out of nowhere). Stefan at this point really needs to move on with his life because if he ever takes Elena back after all this I'll lose all respect for him. I didn't really like Stefan back in the first season all that well, but I like him now - so I really want to see Stefan move on from this fated doppelganger nonsense and find happiness with someone new (nobody on the show already) who would never want Damon.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The shows original premise was about Stefan and Elena getting over Damon the obstacle. Just because they broke up at some point doesen't render the premise pointless.

It's the writers chosing fanservice over storytelling that shows that Delena killed this show

    ReplyDelete
  20. I never cared about Stefan/Elena and i always had problems with them. Stefan went and slept with her before telling her she was identical to Katherine so it always came off to me like he had started stalking her because she looked like Katherine and that was the sole reason he had pursued her. Now its been retonnced that Stefan was programmed to fall for all Amara doppelgangers and that's why he pursued her - but either way I was never a fan of them. I like Stefan so much better as an individual character when he's away from Elena. Elena just sucks the personality and fun right out of Stefan.

i think Kevin Williamson said that the show was the story of Stefan and Elena but he's long gone. I think the premise was always to have a love-triangle with Elena and the Salvatores though - where she can't really pick one or the other and just wants them to both pine over her while she alternates between the two.

They put her with Stefan first and they had that relationship but then her and Damon started getting closer and she was very indecisive in Season 3 about which brother she wanted to be with and then once she became a vampire she felt more connected to Damon (which actually made sense to me because becoming a vampire does change you - so as a human Elena leaned more towards Stefan but as a vampire she's more into Damon).

    ReplyDelete
  21. it shouldn't be about picking someone. But Delena made it about that. That's why this show is feeling like a dying horse

    ReplyDelete
  22. That was simply a season 1 storyline. It was never the premise of the series.

    ReplyDelete
  23. No. It's not one pair's fault over another. It's the never-ending indecision that's dragging the show down. Whether it's Stefan or Damon has no bearing on anything.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Those lovey-dovey moments are going to occur no matter who she's with. The couple in question doesn't matter. Until they make a permanent choice and start prioritizing substance over sex the whole thing is going to be one annoying cycle.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I am happy to have Magnolia back on HOD. I also hope that Zoe and Lemon's common ground is man troubles. :)

    ReplyDelete
  26. Why are economy of words with Supernatural. WHY?WHY?WHY?

    ReplyDelete
  27. TVD: Obviously Matt, Jeremy, and Tyler fail to keep the Travelers from taking control of Mystic Falls. I'm not really interested in Stefan and Elena's dreams if they don't lead to anything significant. Markos will probably tell Damon that he (Markos) is the reason Stefan and Elena are being drawn together, whatever that's supposed to mean. I don't know why Markos is playing matchmaker. It's not like Stefan and Elena can make babies that lead to future doppelganger descendants. Unless the doppelganger curse is really that powerful. It's doubtful. As far as anyone knows, Stefan and his doppelgangers aren't related to each other, and Petrova doppelgangers are only related because the Originals were made vampires using Elena's ancestor, Tatia. Markos probably started the doppelganger species himself so that he could play with the same two people every few centuries. It would be an intriguing twist, though, if Silas and Amara had a child that no one knew about and Markos had something to do with that.

  28. It's funny but the Arrow synopsis neatly demonstrates the problem with a certain character. Let's read it again:

"Oliver (Stephen Amell), Canary (Caity Lotz), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) return to the lair and find Slade (Manu Bennett) waiting for them. An epic battle breaks out and one member of Team Arrow is sent to the hospital. Thea (Willa Holland) hits her breaking point, but just as Oliver is about to reach her, Slade intervenes and Oliver is faced with a choice – his battle with Slade or his family. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) struggles with a new secret."
So... most of the characters are involved in the A-plot... and MEANWHILE, one particular character is off doing something unrelated that no one cares about, which has been the case for the better part of 2 seasons now. Sigh.
