The 100 - 1.02 - Earth Skills - Best Scene Poll
28 Mar 2014
Polls The 100Welcome to the best scene polls for The 100. If you are new to them, basically every Thursday or Friday after a new episode, I will post a choice of 12 scenes for you to choose from. One of them will always be "other" in case your favorite isn't mentioned. You can vote for one option. These polls are a lot more fun if people also explain their choices in the comments below and keep the conversation going. So without further ado, happy voting!
My favorite scenes actually didn't make the cut this week. My first is when Finn takes the food and throws Bellamy's rallying cry back into his face. The second is Wells standing up to Bellamy's bullies and winning the fight.
ReplyDelete"You think you play by different rules"
ReplyDelete"I though there were no rules"
Just amazing!
That's going to be my quote of the episode. I love how they are all trying to outwit each other to get what they need. It is going to be quite the ride watching how the balance of power ebbs and flows.
ReplyDeleteIt's Atom not Adam, right?
ReplyDeleteYou are right. Thanks so much! I've fixed it now.
ReplyDeleteI actually really enjoy all of the Clarke Bellamy scenes
ReplyDeleteMe too:) One second Bellamy challenges her, next second he saves Clarke. It's enjoyable to watch the dynamic bewteen these two. Also like the dynamics between Bellamy and Wells as well:)
ReplyDeleteThe best scene of episode 2 between Bellamy and Clark for me is when Bellamy offers his hand and pulls her back up from the trap.
The tension between those two is palpable. I like how Clarke knows she needs him right now and Bellamy knows that she is the only one who can legitimately vie for his power and bring it all crashing down. They are the junior set of the big power struggle on the ark and for now, they are more interesting.
ReplyDeleteI like how they both knew that he was debating on whether to let her drop or not. It was the moment Clarke knew jsut how far Bellamy was willing to go. I'm still iffy on whether he would have pulled her up or not if they had been alone. I am leaning toward him letting her go and cementing his power over the 100.
ReplyDeleteI loved every scene with Raven, she's such a cool character and I got kind of upset to find out that her boyfriend in ground is Finn !!! I want to be on the Finn and Clarke team but Raven is awesome !!!
ReplyDeleteEgads! Not another freaking love triangle. How annoying. I find Raven beyond awesome as well and I don't want love geometry to kill that.
ReplyDeleteYes, the debating scene was intense and you could almost see the dark side on Bellamy‘s face. But I still like the fact that Bellamy’s first instinct was to grab Clarke's hand on time to save her from falling down into the trap, otherwise she woulb be dead by now.
ReplyDeleteI think Bellamy would be acting a lot different now if he hadn't tried to murder the Chancellor in order to be with his sister. Mostly I think he is acting on self-preservation and fear. He knows that if the rest of the Ark comes to earth, he will be hunted until he is killed. He's smart enough to turn his fear into manipulation and it makes his character so very fascinating. It's why I don't want him dead yet, although I am sure that is coming. A taste of absolute power is a dangerous thing.
ReplyDeleteWell said. i wonder the Chancellor hasn't mentioned anything about how he got shot after he woke up.I remember in the book, Bellamy doesn't want to shoot the Chancellor in the first place, in stead of being found out and turning into a hostage situation that gets the Chancellor shot by accident right before the drop ship is launched. Apparently the screen writer wanted to leave this part to be unfold later and keep us guessing how exactly Bellamy got on the drop ship.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they are going to follow the book or make it part of a greater conspiracy. it seems to be leaning that way.
