Wow, really tough decision. People are saying this was a filler episode which is complete lunacy if you ask me (lunacy, heehee) but so much information and great acting, really enjoyed the flashbacks. Plus, Rhys was super hot.
I'm about to rewatch now, maybe then I'll be able to pick.
It is not filler by any stretch, btu it was an information dump where the majority of the episode revolved around periphery characters. I can see why some people were less thrilled by it.
I'm not saying Stiles is not gonna die too, but Mr. Stilinski has been acting extra fatherly lately, and not only to his son. It's almost he's giving his final goodbyes and advice.
Well they had a whole discussion of not being lead around from place to place.. then let themself be lead to Derek's Loft (btw.. wouldnt you think he would move by now due to all the bad $@#% that has happened there? Also how do the jobless former alpha pay his rent?) and then led to Stiles House.
Also, did anyone else find the molotov + Reese burning scene a little too CGI? I know they couldnt prop burn a guy to death but fire has a way of looking very poor on screen if you dont get it right... and that didnt look right to me.
Also is it Reese or Rhys.. as the guy was American Im more inclined to think Reese.
I'd imagine really convincing CGI fire would be very expensive. Although I seem to recall in 3A when Lydia saves the boys from blowing up, that that fire looked real. Maybe it was in that instance?
Yeah It just looked weird and not right. Didnt ruin that scene, because you could kinda feel that the guy would die (I just assumed he would get shot).
I still find it weird that he was buried INSIDE a Wall though in a cut off basement area. I would of assumed they would of just burned outta existence Reese/Nogitsune
With Dereks luck? Im guessing a Reptilian Snake Guy slashed all his tyres, or the Demon Wolf trashed it at some point or he forgot to pay the registration for it and they impounded it.
I agree. They've barely had Derek in this season and even though he's trying to back Scott and the others, they barely give him any thought at all. Or if they do it's all off screen and we don't hear anything about it. That's one of the things I'm having a hard time with this season. They are bringing in these new superpowered heroine characters that we are supposed to care about but totally writing off the older characters who could be providing information or assistance. Don't know if I can stay with it when they start killing the old characters off, too, especially Stilinski or Derek. They (and Stiles) are the main reasons I watch, although I'm pretty sure one of those two will be the sacrifice this season. Really hoping I'm wrong though.
Mine was the scene with the simple.. wave... (very weak wave) from Stiles to the Camera, although in the context of the show Im not even sure why Mummy Stiles went home. If it was just to wave at the Camera ..well mission accomplished.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Rhys becomes Mummy Mouth when Noshiko begs the nogitsune to exact revenge on the doctor and soldiers :)
ReplyDeleteloved this episode, Nogitsune is best :P

ReplyDeleteI'm about to rewatch now, maybe then I'll be able to pick.
The scene where Deputy Parrish refused to hand over Chris's "lightsaber" - LOL
ReplyDeleteDarkStiles greets Sheriff in Derek's loft, I have a feeling Mr. Stilinski is gonna die
ReplyDeleteI like that it isn't the same old tired monsters we get in all genre shows. This is different and that makes it more interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt is not filler by any stretch, btu it was an information dump where the majority of the episode revolved around periphery characters. I can see why some people were less thrilled by it.
ReplyDeleteI lvoe that scene. Parrish is a real keeper. Of course that means I have to worry about him dying next season.
ReplyDeleteThe only way I see Sheriff dying is if Stiles dies too. Teen Wolf has been going darker, no doubt. Still I can't see them going into patricide.

I feel that way about the sudden appearance of Sensei Derek, the mentor with all of the answers.

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing he has money from his family's death, surely someone had life insurance. :)

ReplyDeleteThe only problem I have with that theory is that Derek hasn't appeared nearly enough this half of the season.
ReplyDeleteIt is Rhys, as confirmed by the actor who played him. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I did some digging and uncovered that too after the fact :). Although even the actor makes it sound like Reece.
ReplyDeleteAllison and Sherrif!
ReplyDeleteHaha. Probably right but I miss it.
ReplyDeleteThat was hilarious. Loved it.

I honestly can't pick this week. I've gone through the list 3 times and still nothing.
ReplyDeleteI struggled as well. I eventually picked Allison breaking down in the elevator because it was about time they gave her something to do.
ReplyDeleteI think it was to lead them to Derek's place via the chessboard.

ReplyDeleteWe got a lot of answers in this episode...and a lto of flashbacks. Not sure what my favorite scene is yet? Why did you pick your choice?
