MTE. Aren't they always running credit cards scams to pay for everything? I'm not sure they actually have any money of their own and legitimately pay for things.
Looks like they're waiting on a meeting with someone. They probably want the King of Hell looking like he has some dignity for the meeting/they want him to impress or intimidate whoever they're meeting. And it also sounds like Crowley is currently powerless, so they're also probably worried about whoever they're meeting realizing that he's powerless.
I think it's more about how stupid he looks with his hand half in a candy machine and how desperate the whole thing is. They may pay for things with stolen money but they do pay, in a way. (I'm using Winchester morality here)
ROFL! Poor Crowley, he was like a kicked puppy when he put his hands in his pockets and walked away, w/o his candy. haha
With the lots of times Cas made awkward situations, Dean seems to build some immunity to silliness, Sam on he other hand... lol That "king of rotten" remark was gold. :D
I don't get why some fans are so obsessed that Dean doesn't wonder where Cas is. When has he ever done that before? Really the only time he calls on Cas is if he needs something, or in the case of season 6 where Sam, Dean and Bobby got suspicious of him.
I'm sorry to see Crowley reduced to snuffling about like that. I loved him when he was the cunning , smarmy, feisty King of Hell. It gives me no pleasure to see him reduced to a caricature of what he was. x As for Sam and Dean, other that drinking in the pretty, there's not much more to say. They are still at loggerheads by all accounts. I think Carver must really dislike his two main characters as he devotes so little attention to them and their brotherly problems and POV's. x The promos usually show us a moment in the episode which really tells us nothing about what's really going on. This is probably one of the few moments when Dean and Sam are together in this episode:(
I wonder why Crowley seems 'powerless'? More human than demon now or is Dean's having the MOC and in proximity having a dampening effect, similar to when Dean and Crowley were in Cain's home?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
LOL, why do Sam and Dean have issues with Crowley stealing candy? It's not like they haven't done worse.

ReplyDeleteCrowley, the King of Rock Bottom
ReplyDeleteI think it was more the manner it was being done rather that what was being done. Something about being less obvious and desperate.

ReplyDeleteJust one more week... and i can't wait!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, maybe Sam and Dean can’t give him any of their blood to tide him over so he has the munchies.

ReplyDeleteThis actually made me laugh, which is rare with some episodes.
ReplyDeleteAnd they mentioned Cas - I know a lot of fans will be happy about that.
You're probably right.
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteGreat reasoning.

Also, I think they are waiting for someone in the scene, and how's going when whoever comes and Crowley is elbow deep in a candy machine.
ReplyDeleteBut credit card scams, and pool hustling is how they get by. Though they also probably still have that stash of gold when they fought the dragons.
