  1. This looks pretty intense. I can't believe I'm actually liking this show, LOL.

  2. I don't know what the gun laws are like in 2036 Louisiana but maybe Emery should look into packing some heat. She gets herself into danger way too often.

  3. Going to be another good one.

  4. I think CW shot themselves in the foot by putting too much emphasis on the love triangle in the first couple promos. I think it drove away a lot of people. And the ones who gave it a shot, were pleasantly surprised.

  5. Yes, well, I won't lie, I was one of those that thought this show was DOA. The only reason I gave it a chance was because of the prevews that said the segregation/discrimination subplot had potential. And yes, I agree, what definitely turned me off was the love story angle they are so determined in promoting. I still don't think it will get a second season, but now I'll be sad when it doesn't.

  6. I agree. As I noted in this weeks review, the romance has toned done so much and fits more into the overall aspect of the show without taking away form it, leaving integration and these two races outlooks on it at the center.

  7. She really should. yet she is constantly saying she doesn't need to be protected.
Yeah, okay. *Does an Eye Roll*

  9. Totally agree! I've been saying this since i watched the pilot. Star Crossed might be not the best tv show on television, but is a good show and is so much more than a love triagle between teenagers.

  11. Star-Crossed is a surprisingly well-crafted show that people had written-off from the start because The CW decided to promote it as a 'cosmic love triangle' show. That's an instant turn-off for a lot of potential viewers. They also weren't doing themselves any favors by calling the show 'Star-Crossed.'

This is a decent show and I believe it would have had a better shot at success if it was promoted more as a sci-fi show (like The 100) and less like a romantic teen drama.
