This table shows the early overnight ratings. These ratings are normally adjusted later in the day when all the ratings have been consolidated to take into account any local preemptions and/or overruns. You can find all the final adjusted numbers in our Ratings Database. (See the About section below for details about ratings)

Household
Rating/Share
ABC 9.1/14
NBC 7 .7/12

Fox 3.6/ 5
CW 0.8/ 1
-Percent Change from Year-Ago Evening – Monday 3/18/13:
NBC: +92, CW: +33, ABC and CBS: -15 each, Fox: -27
(Note: NBC featured the season-finale of “The Biggest Loser” on the year-ago evening)
———-
-Winners:
“Dancing With the Stars” (ABC), “The Voice” (NBC), “The Blacklist” (NBC)
-Honorable Mention:
“How I Met Your Mother” (CBS)
-Losing Steam:
“The Following” (Fox)
-Losers (excluding repeats):
“Star-Crossed” (CW), “The Tomorrow People” (CW)
———-
-Ratings Breakdown:
ABC was back in the Monday overnight winner’s circle care of the spring season-premiere of “Dancing With the Stars,” which dominated with a 10.3 rating/16 share from 8-10 p.m. While this bested two-hours of competing “The Voice” on NBC (8.2/13) by 26 percent, “The Voice” will hold a noticeable advantage over “Dancing With the Stars” in all the key young adult demos. Comparably, the “Dancing With the Stars” opener was down by 15 percent from the 12.1/18 on the year-ago evening (which was also a season premiere).
Tops in the overnights at 10 p.m. was NBC’s “The Blacklist,” with a 6.9/11, which beat the competition – “Castle” on ABC (6.6/11) and “Intelligence” on CBS (3.7/ 6) – by 5 and 86 percent, respectively. “The Blacklist” will, of course, hold a much greater advantage over “Castle” in the demos.
CBS had nothing unusual to report with its 8-10 p.m. sitcom combination of soon-to-conclude “How I Met Your Mother” (#3: 5.5/ 9), “2 Broke Girls” (#3: 5.1/ 8), “Mike & Molly” (#3: 5.3/ 8) and “Mom” (#3: 4.8/ 7), which all fit well together. If “The Big Bang Theory” does move back to Monday (as the 8 p.m. anchor) next season, expected an improved performance (and increased HUT levels).
Elsewhere, Fox’s combination of already renewed dramas “Bones” (#4: 4.0/ 6) and fading “The Following” (#4: 3.2/ 5), which dipped by 32 percent from the year-ago evening, finished a distant fourth overall. And the time period premiere of The CW’s on-the-fence “The Tomorrow People” scored a mere 0.8/ 1 in the overnights at 9 p.m., which was actually a slight improvement compared to “Beauty and the Beast” one week earlier (0.7/ 1 on March 10). Failing recent entry “Star-Crossed” averaged a 0.9/ 1 at 8 p.m., which was 29 percent above “The Carrie Diaries” on the year-ago evening (0.7/ 1 on 3/18/13).
