Pretty Little Liars - Episode 4.24 - A is for Answers - Interview with TVLine

TVLINE | Let’s start with that scene where Hanna’s holding the gun. Is that how the episode ends?

I can’t tell you if that’s the last scene, because that might be too big a spoiler, but I love that scene. It took us a whole day to shoot it, and we were like, “This is PLL: the action movie.” … We loved seeing Hanna with a gun in her hand because, of course, Ashley [Benson] did a lot of gun wielding in Spring Breakers. So we were like, “Let’s give Hanna the gun.” And when Spencer screams, “Take off your mask!” and they all scream, “Now!” I was like, “OK, you guys are so badass.” I love it.

TVLINE | One of the bigger mysteries is who tried to kill Ali. Will we find that out in the finale?

We definitely explore that in the finale, and part of it may be a question we’ll still need to answer. But what you do find out in the finale is who buried Ali.

TVLINE | What about crazy Mrs. D? What role will she play in the finale?

We find out pretty early on that word is spreading in Rosewood that Alison DiLaurentis is alive. The police know that and Mrs. D will soon find that out. You’ll find out a lot. She’s a part of what happened the night Ali went missing as well as the the present-day story.

  1. I think Oliver Goldstick once said in an interview that they've planned the storyline only for 5 seasons... Which means they will drag this whole "A-thing" out for 6 or even more seasons :(
I love PLL very much, but I think it should end after season 5 :)

  2. I'm thinking about it too but I can't take it if season 5 spring finale will be the series finale. I love this show very much. My suggestion is they should end the A-storyline in season 5 and if there's a chance for season 6, they should make a new main mystery. These 4 seasons are very very complicated so if there will be a season 6, a whole new storyline is necessary and I'm thinking the liars will be in college.

  3. in teh promos there is a peek that looks after the shook that the girls are looking someone falls i can bet that is going to be A. I feel like they are dragging this too much altho the books keep coming are like what 12 or more? i mean that's a lot for A but again i dont know if there is another plot or something on the books. I hope season 5 will be the last with a +100 eps is more than enough.

  4. (big spoilers ahead)

They don't take the mask off. Basically nothing is answered once again. Ask yourself 'what was answered' once the episode ends and you will get what I mean. They are tricksters and not very good ones.

  5. I agree :)
The A-storyline should end soon! It already feels dragged out^^
