The only thing I am puzzled about is what Conrad is up to, pushing Pascal on Victoria. Even letting Victoria believe that Pascal got her house back from Stevie. What is he up to?
I was totally confused as for the last part...Those freakish shenanigans...I only picked up that Conrad is playing them all as usual and Stevie, like it or not, IS A GOOD SINCERE PERSON, even if she helps Conrad...I mean, they were married once.
Oh, and that Pascal was playing Ems too...But either than that - I'm puzzled - and I now even start to wonder if Conrad set the whole talk with Steph up to accomplish what he wants...But other than not having interest in Victoria or Ben the house anymore...Why would he push them together?!
By the way what happened to Victoria's painter-lover from S1?
1. I think Conrad and Steve was so it totally sincere, he seemed to not be surprised when Steve gave him the deed. He seemed to be planning on it coz he said "I got it" to Pascal as soon as he got out of the room.
2. Conrad knows Victoria. He knows his much she hates those involved in the framing of David Clarke (even though she is one too, anyway). Thus he is pushing them together, to get Victoria to love and trust Pascal again. So he can rip it away by telling her Pascal was full well aware, and had no remorse, as he seems he doesn't. Conrad loves long-term plans like Emily, unlike Victoria and Daniel who are very immediate planners.
3. Dominik (Painter) happened after Pascal and before Conrad I believe. As Victoria always said she felt she could not trust Dominik, well that's coz she trusted Pascal and he broke her heart and trust. And In France she was still painting or looking anyway. But when she returned she was selling fake ones, where she met Conrad.
I'm not usually a fan of the Jack and Emily scenes (cause they're always so protective to each other and sensitive and dramatic...) but this time, I actually really enjoyed their scene at the bar, talking about Aiden. Those past 2 episodes were definitely the best !
Honestly? None. Boring-ass episode. Since coming back from the latest break, the show has been dull, once again losing focus with a bunch of uninteresting new storylines & characters and no real movement on the revengenda front. We just spent an entire episode on Emily merely trying to get some face time with Pascal, seriously? And now they have to find out what Aiden's dad has to do with it all... seriously, they're back to moving at a snail's pace, like last season. Even the scene between Conrad and Stevie at the latter's Southfork Inn room, which seemed touching, was actually a ploy by Conrad to get the deed to the Grayson manor. (Not sure how he found it - even if he distracted Stevie by making her emotional, he couldn't just start ransacking the room... and don't tell me she GAVE IT TO HIM after he sweet-talked her for five minutes, that would just be awful.) Emily returning Daniel's credit card was funny, but did Daniel - and the writers - suddenly forget that Emily is rich in her own right? She doesn't NEED his money to throw events! She only did that to annoy him (not that I don't appreciate it). I guess the twist that Victoria lost to Emily on purpose so Ems would try to ally herself with Pascal and potentially reveal her secrets was cool, but still, snail's pace.
Conrad wants Pascal, media mogul that he is, to be his business partner. Pascal initially refused, so Conrad tried to sway him by saying he'll give Pascal the one thing he wants and doesn't have - Victoria. So that's why Conrad is trying to hook these two up.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
The show has been underwhelming the last couple of weeks. There weren't any scenes this week that really stood out.

ReplyDeletesurprisingly Javier earned cookie points with his charm, honesty and they way he is interacting with other characters with ease.
