    Poor James. And wow, Jeff Perry is really bad at fake crying, but that scene in the press room hurt.

    They are not hiding Kerry's pregnancy well at all. And go Mellie/Andrew! She deserves to be happy.

    Oh, I'm just over here trying not to bawl my eyes out. It was an extraordinary episode though and showcased the amazing talents of this great cast. I get the feeling I might shed a few more tears while writing my review!

    Wow, now that was a fantastic episode! BEST episode of the season, hands down.

    I knew that James would be the one that got shot! The scene where Cyrus cried in front of all the reporters in the press room was absolutely gut-wrenching. I definitely shed a tear there.

    And HOLY HELL what the hell was that with Quinn and Huck swapping spit and making out?!?! Jesus Christ, that was disgusting.

    Loved the flashbacks on how Cyrus and James first met and Cyrus making it known to Fitz that he was gay by dancing with James. Made me feel even more bad for him.

    Yay at Mellie and Andrew finally having sex!

    -Ok, last week was an OMG moment but the Huck/Quinn scene was bigger to me.
    -Oliva hit by 3 different catastrophes at once... boom goes the dynamite.
    -Let's face it, Ballard is screwed six ways to Sunday.
    -On the topic of Ballard, at least he's got scruples about murder. He's burning his soul for his belief in the greater good.
    -Poor James, but expected. He'd been playing too many sides too long to survive. Too bad though about him being a great character.
    -Poor David, the last remaining voice of morality. At least Liv has finally thrown her support behind him.
    -Not poor Cyrus. Chickens have come home to roost for him, a major theme of the season. He's finally seeing the cost of selling his soul.
    -That said, imagine if someone like that broke down over a tragedy on tv and the President comforted them... pure Presidential gold. Only the real extreme homophobes would complain and they'd face a backlash.
    -Loved how they implied Fitz knew about Cyrus always being gay.
    -Joe Morton/Rowan Pope... the king of the speech.

    - It feels like the writers found out how some fans think Olitz is dysfunctional and toxic & then thought to themselves: "You ain't seen nothing yet!" That kiss between Quinn and Huck was disturbingly disgusting.
    - What a shame James was killed off and then in such a cruel way as well. He was one of my favorite characters. I haven't been a fan of Cyrus this season but I couldn't help but feel for him. The flashbacks were really moving and it was nice to see the beginning of their relationship.
    - I'm happy Mellie is letting loose and is having some fun but this is going to bite her in the ass sometime soon.
    - More of OPA was a definite plus as well but the scene where they all stormed into Olivia's office with their "situations" stirked me more as comedic than dramatic but I guess it emphasized Rowan's speech (which by the way was another excellent monologue) how everyone is worht saving.
    - I like how much Abby cares about David. I'm glad he stopped shutting her out.
    - Seems like Adnan is in over her head. She looked genuinely terrified of Maya when she shot that minion.

    Episode 301 and 310 were awesome episode. This was the third best for me. But why I loved it was that it finally felt like Scandal from season 1 and 2.

    Quinn is irritating! Overall, a wonderful episode but it was a very sad episode especially when Cyrus cried and Fitz trying to hug him!

    I feel you about the pregnancy Shonda Rhimes usually hides it better on Greys but then again it's much easier since they could just be in the background and not appear for a bit unlike Kerry who is a constant presence. Lol Toby Maguire in Spider-Man is the worst cry ever. Cyrus' was just a tad better

    Very sad episode, but very well executed. I liked the way they handled James' death by including the flashbacks of when he first met Cyrus.. This episode was also momentous in that it marked a turning point for numerous characters. David, the show's biggest voice of morality had to get his hands dirty in order to save his life, but on a positive note, he was finally able to trust Abby and be completely open with her. Mellie did something for herself instead of her husband. And Jake finally assumed his role as commander of B6-13, although it was clearly done with a lot of internal conflict. Despite everything Jake does, I give kudos to the actor and the writers, for making us really see things from his perspective. I also give Jake points for not bothering to sugar-coat the role he played in the killings to Olivia, and also for putting the responsibility of killing three innocent people entirely on himself.

    Other highlights: We were treated to another epic Rowan Pope speech. Unfortunately, his speech impressed the viewers a lot more than it impressed Olivia, who promptly decided to make it her mission to take down B6-13. I also couldn't help laughing at Rowan's unimpressed "Oh that" comment, after Olivia told him what Sally and Jake had done.

    Things I miss: The old Olivia Pope. Whatever happened to the bad-ass, quick-talking, cocky head of Pope and Associates who was never fazed by any challenge and who always knew what to do or say to her gladiators? Lately, all we seem to get is a distressed, lip-quivering Olivia, who spends half her time curled up on her sofa drinking red wine and leaning on her ex-fake boyfriend's shoulder for emotional support. I get that she's witnessed some shocking things in the past year...but how is that anything new? And what happened to all of Pope and Associate's clients, with their whacky cases? Or are all the gladiators on a break dealing with personal matters?

    Things I wish I could un-see: Huck and Quinn exchanging copious amounts of saliva.

    Great episode but I can't believe they killed James! He was one of my favorite characters. Cyrus broke my heart and that scene with Fitz consoling him just brought me to tears. It's really sad if you think that this whole thing started from his blackmail scheme, which led to Sally murdering her husband, which led to all this. In a twisted way he deserves this but I love him too much to actually think that.

    I'm glad Olivia and David are on the same page and planning to destroy B613. I don't see how they'll manage it without going against the government and Fitz. I hope they do bring down B613 because at this point I just hate it. Not to mention that Quinn's storyline is just annoying. I wish she was the one to die in the episode, not James. And can she choose a side already? She's constantly going back and forth. And what the hell is going on with her scenes with Huck? Who is writing those? Enough with the saliva. It's like every new scene is trying to surpass the previous one in terms of disgust.
