    This didn't feel like a finale, but they probably had to do major rewrites after Lee's death.

    Poor Tommy. It sucks that he fell off the wagon. Hopefully he and Lydia can work things out.

    Good episode.

    It felt out of sorts but I guess that's due to the passing of one of the cast members. Other than that, it was pretty good.

    I am ok with the prospect of Jane being pregnant. I think it will lead to good story, and come on Jane as a mom will be a little funny. Since this is the finale, maybe season 5 will jump ahead a few months and Frost will have just transferred or something and we will pick up with Jane having made a decision about the possible baby.

    I think, and I mean it well, that people should finally get over the fact that Maura and Jane are not gay. They are never going to get together or have relationship other than friendship. It is just not going to happen and it is perfectly normal to let them live their own life with guys. I think that pregnant Jane and later mother Jane will be very funny to watch and it will be pretty lovely. And maybe Casey is not the man you would like to see by her side but well...she does. And for Frankie and Maura, please, do give them (writers) a chance and maybe they will surprise you. I for once, believe them and I am curious to see how this new relationship will play out. I think they are kinda cute :) So lets give me some downvotes!! :D I dont get much of those :)

    I agree with you about Jane and Maura not getting together. I have no issues with TV shows having same sex couples, but it doesn't work for every show or characters. For some reason lately (once upon a time comes to mind), two female characters having a deep bond means that some people "ship" them and demand that they be written as lesbians. I doubt that as many people would take two male characters and say they should pair up because their tight, we just call that a bro-mance and everyones fine with it.

    And I am perfectly fine with it too, I mean bro-mance, I really love Maura and Jane's relationship. Well, let's face it, it makes the show. But what makes me a little sad is when people are hateful against all the guys in their lives and don't even give them a chance (for ex. now Casey and Frankie) and also against the fans who maybe like them. That is what bothers me.

    I was a little suprised that people were so opposed to Jane being with Casey. I mean obviously I didn't want Jane to give up being a cop, and the show would never write it that way. I mean Maura/Frankie I am not thrilled with but I am sure I will warm to it if it continues. If Jane is indeed pregnant, I am sure we will see the return of Casey soon.

    You have just written all my thoughts. I got no problem with Casey and I am also curious for Maura/Frankie. I trust the writers and I hope that they will write it believable. And pregnant Jane? Come on, that would be the loveliest, funniest and cutest thing.

    Well I've no problem with Jane being pregnant but in the books she gets pregnant and marries gaberial dean the FBI agent so I can't pic Casey being the dad as Ive read all the books its wrong

    seriously, fans who supports a gay relationship with Jane-Maura really annoys me, just the thought of them being a gay couple is just ridiculous and NEVER going to happen, even Angie Harmon herself think it's ridiculous that some fans would want them to be a couple. So why can't these fans just accept the reality & deal with it?
