Seriously? What is up with the show's apparent obsession of bringing in character's parent? First Jack's mother, then Margaux's father and now Aiden's father. What the actual hell... What's next? Nolan's father isn't actually dead and is also connected to David's trial?
I don't agree 'cause I found the ending very Revenge-y - I did not see it coming, as you might recall my bet was on Mason. And I loved all the scenes with Conrad and his ex-wives. I actually want 'Steph' to stick around - Gail O'Grady is a nice addition and it's nice to see her play something even deeper and more challenging than Anne Schilling - the only character I knew of hers up until now, from DH. But offtopic aside - I'm coming to my point : remember when I jokingly said that Pascal will be Daniel's dad? (Which would leave Conrad with no kids at all, lol. This evil women.) Now that we know of his and Victoria's past I worry this might be true - and Josh Bowman bares actually more physical resemblance to him than to Henry Czerny...Am I the only one that thinks that?
More on the episode tomorrow. But I really enjoyed it. Things are finally picking up. Best one in the second half IMHO.
I actually like Stevie/Steph too. She's one of the better characters that have been introduced this season. Regarding TWM, I was hoping it was just some random person who knew too much and who was taken care. I just think they've already brought in so many characters, it's starting to feel a little scattered. I just don't want the show to make the same mistake it did last season with the Initiative: Extend the playground to the point where TPTB don't know what do to anymore.
I liked where this episode is going, but it was definately a filler episode. Which is why nothing major happened. It was just setting up Emily vs Victoria/ Pascal, more darker Marguax, Team Emily vs Pascal, and Javier and Charlotte.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I think Emily's dress shaved a few years off my lifespan.
ReplyDeleteOh my God, I know! She gave me consecutive heart attacks!
ReplyDeleteI am dissapointed once again. Nothing interesting in this episode.
ReplyDeleteAgree, I found myself bored at times and picking up my phone.

ReplyDeleteI thought the episode was pretty awesome. Next week's episode looks even better however. Looks like the plot is moving!

ReplyDeleteSo, how long do you think it will take the writers to dramatically kill Jack's mother?
ReplyDeleteWell, there's a spoiler that someone will die in the finale, so might be on to something.
