I loved everything about this episode! Pride, Gibbs, Lasalle, and Brody all had excellent chemistry together and they played off each other great. I would have liked to see Wade actually be with them instead of on video chat but hopefully that will happen in the next episode!
I really want this spinoff to get picked up now! Hoping it does.
Better than NCIS: Red. But not as good as the crossover that led to Los Angeles back in Season 6. What I hate most about this potential spinoff is that everyone seems so darn cheery and those accents are atrocious, especially Lucas Black's. And the two actors I looked forward to seeing the most (CCH and Paige Turco) basically had cameo roles. I realize this is a crossover and not everyone is going to get a lot of screen time but still I was dissapointed. I'm not sure I want this to make it to air as a series. Bakula just doesn't excite me as I thought he would as an agent and Lucas Black is annoying.
I thought the accents were pretty good. They always sound more pronounced on TV or in a movie. I've lived in Alabama for most of my 63 years and I hear people that sound like Lucas Black all the time. I liked it.
Awesome episode. But just to say that FBI Agent that was killed at least in my opinion deserved it. I mean first she steals a body (even under orders it's not alright) and second destroys evidence.
Lucas Black is FROM Alabama. That's more than likely, he's real accent. His character even referenced being raised in Alabama, before (at age 13) moving to New Orleans. I honestly didn't have a problem with any of the characters accents (real or otherwise).
Fed 5. We know atleast 4 of them; Mike Franks (RIP), This weeks victim, Gibbs, and Pride. Do not know if Fornell was with NIS back in those days, or if he was still FBI back then, and actually part of the Fed 5.
I respect people's opinions but I personally didn't like that aspect of the crossover. Like I said I believe it has a better premise than Red, but whether or not it will last as a series, that I am not sure of.
I live on the border with Louisiana and did not have a problem with the accents at all. I enjoyed the whole ep and looking forward to next week, I am a big PLEASE PICK THIS UP.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I really liked it! I like the characters and am definitely looking forward to next week. And it's already more interesting than Red.
ReplyDeleteGreat episode!

Fab 5 interesting name.......so I guessing Fornell also know who Agent Pride is
ReplyDeletePretty sure it was fed 5, and Pride and Fornell definitely knew each other by the way they were reminiscing about po boys.
ReplyDeleteI liked it, hope it gets picked up! Lucas Black has grown up since Fast & Furious and fits the role of Lasalle to a tee.
ReplyDeleteYes, It Is Fed 5.
ReplyDeleteThis was a great episode! Please pick up this show!
