1) The new opening for season 3 is "Killer Cool"! 2) Yes, Liber8 has put the "Band" back together again (all three surviving members, but who's counting)! 3) If Alec is a D!(K, then Kellog is certainly a A$$#0L3 and Emily/Mia goes from "Bad to Worst". 4) Kiera shouldn't have shown Carlos the "Dead Kiera". He wasn't ready for a "Parallel Experience" yet, let alone the death of someone he knew and cared for. 5) Simon Barry is the "Man" when it comes to Continuum. Take notes.................Jay Firestone and Emily Andras! I really enjoyed this episode. The question "Who Killed Kiera ?" reminds me of "Who Shot Jr. ?" from Dallas. My moneys on Jason "HeadCase" Sadler as Kiera's killer. 4 A LIBER8ED TIMELINE, I remain Nobody!!!
I am loving this new season. I had no idea how they would go from last season, but I really like this paralel universes that is going on. And great to see more of Kiera's past. As a historian, I was all "Yey Books!!! history" and then the guy said it was contraband and I wonder what kind of society would turn on it's own history. After all, history is a necessity to comprehend the world. It really would be a horrible world without any understanding of things we take for granted.
Damn, Continuum just gets better and better. Everything is planned so perfectly. Each season it's like a puzle that comes together episode after episode, and the way things are going the season finale should be EPIC!
Wasn't expecting Emily/Mia to be the one who killed Esher. I figured since Kellogg and Esher had competing claims on the technology and future business ventures, that Kellogg would've had Esher assassinated. Kellogg is too smart to carry out such dirty work himself.
I think Alec (from any timeline), should do as Keira suggested, and leave Emily alone. If it was intended for Alec to be with Emily, surely Kiera would've known. Alec's kinda a super celebrity from her time period.
Wow. I'm totally speechless. Season 3 has really started with a bang.
I particularly like how they're showing Kiera's attitude gradually changing, yet she's still living within the confines of her CPS brainwashing and ultimately selfish desire to get home. I wouldn't be shocked if by the end of the season she is working alongside Liber8 in some fashion instead of constantly fighting against them. The whole Liber8 thread is obviously being weeded out into a larger story. The sheer fact that the opening sequence doesn't involve Kiera explaining the premise of the show anymore suggests a shift in direction. After all, theres only so many times you can have three members of Liber8 creating a thorn in Kiera's side week by week before it gets a little old hat.
Garza will keep to her word. I think from the preview for next week it looks as though Travis saying "ignore the cop, get the protector," doesn't mean 'shoot her,' rather get her because he wants to call a truce and discuss moving forward to establish all of their roles in the bigger picture and fight the real enemy whoever that may be.
Kiera's 2067 hair was not good though really was it.
Also, the actress who plays her mother loves popping up in everything doesn't she.
I really enjoyed this episode as well. At first, I thought it was Emily who killed Kiera too, since she killed Escher. However, now I'm not sure. I really don't think it was wise for Kiera to show Carlos her other dead self. I really like the paradox of having two Alec's, and the concept of trust between Kiera and the two Alec's, in this episode.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
