Reno 911! co-creator/star Thomas Lennon is set to play Felix opposite Matthew Perry‘s Oscar in CBS’s multi-camera comedy pilot The Odd Couple, a take on the Neil Simon classic. Co-written and executive produced by Perry, Odd Couple centers on two mismatched roommates — the messy Oscar Madison (Perry) and neat freak Felix Unger (Lennon).

Cuz-Bros - Geoff Stults gets Lead Role
Geoff Stults has booked the main lead in CBS’ multi-camera odd couple comedy pilot Cuz-Bros, from writers David Caspe and Erik Sommers, Sony TV, CBS Studios and Fanfare. It centers on Nick (Stults), a successful, suave ladies man working as a sportscaster for a local Los Angeles TV station whose perfect life gets turned upside down when his mess of a cousin needs a place to stay. Stults was cast as a guest star given his commitment to Enlisted, on which he is a regular.

Mr. Robinson - Ben Koldyke joins as Regular
Ben Koldyke, coming off ABC’s freshman comedy Back In the Game, has joined NBC’s recently picked-up six-episode comedy series Mr. Robinson in a new co-starring role opposite Craig Robinson. The addition of Koldyke’s character is part of the changes to the single-camera project, which is being reworked by its new creative team, led by executive producers/showrunners Mark Cullen and Rob Cullen. Mr. Robinson stars Robinson as a journeyman musician who gets a job as a music teacher at a middle school. Koldyke plays a gym teacher at the school.

It centers on Mia (Ahna O’Reilly), a young New Yorker who learns she needs an organ transplant to survive and her only living relative is a newfound half-brother, Davis (Matt Barr), the only son of a wealthy and powerful Charleston family. She connects with them only to find they’re the target of a CIA investigation for involvement in domestic terrorism, and the agency wants her as their newest informant. 90210 alum Dayal, will play Mike, Mia’s boyfriend.

Oded Fehr (The Mummy franchise) has landed a series regular role in ABC’s Richard LaGravenese drama pilot. In the vein of Dangerous Liaisons, the untitled project is set in New York and revolves around the love and rivalry between two equally matched, powerful socialites, Philip Fitzgerald Julien (Rufus Sewell) and Margot Worth Cole, who play out their obsessive attraction and seduction of each other through their manipulation of others. Fehr will play Anderson Cole, Margot’s ex-husband and one of the Forbes 500 whose power has resulted in expanding a multimillion-dollar company into a multibillion-dollar corporation. Anderson has fooled three beautiful women into marrying him and is working on Trophy No. 4.

The project, from writer Chad Kultgen and producers Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Anne Heche, centers on a hard-living, sexually unapologetic woman (Walsh) who plays with the law, and whose life on the edge is constantly in balance as she also happens to be a judge in the criminal court system. The project centers on Rachel Knight (Julia Stiles), a talented, unorthodox and impulsive Deputy DA in the LA County District Attorney’s office who sometimes operates outside the law in order to uphold it. Scott will play Eric Northup, the Head Deputy of the Special Trials Unit. Matter will play Lt. Graden Hales, a police lieutenant and Detective Bailey Keller’s (Elisabeth Röhm) boss.

Written by Dennis Leary, the project centers on Johnny Rock (Leary), the magnificently talented lead singer of New York’s legendary early-’90s band The Heathens. Kelly will play Bam Bam, the Keith Moon-inspired drummer of The Heathens. He still hangs around Johnny, but the years have not been kind and he suffers no illusions about a resurgence of his musical career. Gillies will play Gigi, a 22-year-old singer in search of a songwriter and veteran session musicians to record her first album.
