I knew this was going to happen since watching the pilot.
ReplyDeleteso ABC replaced "Killer Women" with "Mind Games" only to cancel it. I want the 2 remaining episodes of KW to be aired. I know it was bad and deserved to be canceled, but ABC should at least put these 2 episodes on the website
ReplyDeleteNot surprised but the show had potential. Steve Zahn started off too insane but mellowed quickly, Christian Slater's character was fun and creative, and Jamie Ray Newman is always underrated.
ReplyDeleteI just hope that ABC partially realizes a BIG part of their problem is their HORRENDOUS advertising department! Fire every one of them, and start working on a new image or something. The shows themselves haven't been too great or too bad but people might actually tune into them if the ads were better done, they are always so... I dunno what the word is. Cheerful? Not quite but close maybe. They just make their shows look dumb. Even the GOOD ones, like Resurrection and Trophy Wife, OUAT all have atrocious marketing. Mind Games had some of the worst promotional material of this season along with Lucky 7... boring/weird font stye/titles generic and bland posters... TBH they didn't really have any shows that popped out or seemed unique in the crowd. And as their advertising has gotten worse over the last few seasons if they don't change something they won't have a single show get a full season by this fall.
ReplyDeleteI really wanted Christian Slater to get on a stable show.
ReplyDeleteI got to agree. ABC is becoming the FOX of 8 to 10 years ago. They're basically throwing new shows out there and hoping for the best while depending on their success of their current star shows. If ABC didn't have Scandal then everyone at the network would be panicking.
ReplyDeleteAgree 100%
ReplyDeleteI knew it wasn't going to work but damn find, Slater in a good show please!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was not that good of a show.
ReplyDeleteif I would ever be hired to run a show for abc I'd only put on a plan for 3 episodes, I'd get canned after that anyway
ReplyDeleteNot surprising. But I really wish they'd waited until after the cliffhanger episode to pull it from the schedule...
ReplyDeleteI am surprised that it took them this long to cancel it.
ReplyDeleteA lot people are saying get Christian Slater a new show or get him on a good show. When does it get to the point that maybe the reason why all his shows get canceled is him?
ReplyDeleteThis Sucks, I Really Enjoyed Mind Games.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I dont care about mr. Slater. I'm just sad about Kyle Killen, he's a great talented writer.
ReplyDeleteThis show was horrible.
ReplyDeleteABC has a new slogan: "We cancel faster than you can look."
ReplyDeleteThey gave it five episode even after the horrendous ratings.
ReplyDeleteWell, but a lot of shows are DOA because of ABC' bad marketing. Or better no marketing.
ReplyDeleteI gave this show a shot and couldn't get through the first episode and it wasn't Christian Slater that made me turn the channel.
ReplyDeletewell that was fast! how many Eps did they air only 3 they never had a chance to be on.
ReplyDeleteI do remember him having a guest role on Alias a few years ago. :D
