    It is in the pilot! Ted and Barney are arguing about ther signal (to kiss your date), and Barney's saying there's no such thing as the signal. He kisses Marshall, and then asks Ted "Did Marhsall give me the signal?"

    I definitely do not remember it. Could it be that it was in the DVD and not the episode that aired. Or maybe I am just not remembering it. Been a while since I watched the pilot.
