And this is the start of Hannibal/Alana... Alana is going to need major therapy after this season. I hope this leads to character development for her, she's such an underdeveloped character besides her Sainty need to save Will.
Ooo this is interesting. There hasn't been much Alana lately so I hope this changes it. Maybe Alana 'getting it on with Hannibal' is her way of getting to the bottom of things.
It doesn't matter. I'm over Alana as a love interest for Will anyway. She's so patronizing towards him, she so sure that she's right and that Will is delusional, rather than actually listening to what he's saying. Whatever happened to loyalty and giving someone the benefit of the doubt.
For me it generally doesn't matter if there is a love interest for Will because it is at least all about Hannibal. Hannibal probably won't be able to be in love with Alana because it will be Clarice who let's him come over the death of his sister.
But surely Hannibal is very courious about making love with Alana and will still have a lot of fun.
I hope Will won't blame Hannibal for Alana's decision and will finally see that Hannibal cares more about him than the FBI does (from Hannibal's point of view). Probably Hannibal also wants to show him that he could never be happy with a woman who was involved with his mess with the FBI.
I agree I hope Alana finding out about Hannibal will lead to knowing more about the character, she's not done much this season, but by defending Hannibal and not listening to Will, the fall for her will be much harder. In the books it says that suicide was Alan Blooms mortal enemy , maybe the same for Alana?
Hannibal obviously really likes Alana. But he also liked Abigail. He's a Psychopath and so he won't be able to feel love until Clarice changes him. But still he will be curious about having a romantic relationship with Alana.
I am hoping to see Hannibal's flashbacks (Mischa please?) and a more mention of Lady Murasaki. About the actual concern with Alana; since this season started I saw the let's call it "hide intention" for the writers towards Alana; they want to give her a dramatic change. Of course sometimes this changes only increased the amount of haters but then again it's not up to us. She will become a better character or she will be ruined, we still don't know but what we do know is that there will be a close relationship between Hannibal and Alana.
3 people close to Will are going to die; said Bryan Fuller last week. So far Abigail Hobbs and Beverly Katz have died. That leaves one more person. My vote = Dr Alana Bloom.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I really hope Alana doesn't end up with Hannibal, because once you sleep with a cannibal there's really no going back.

ReplyDeleteThe cases this season are just... disturbingly beautiful.

ReplyDeleteThe Murder Art in this show is Awesome.
ReplyDeleteI just gotta be careful not to horde too many of those shots in my collection or someone will get the wrong idea.
