The Mentalist star Amanda Righetti is taking a trip to Chicago.
I can exclusively reveal that the actress will be guest starring as a pediatrician on upcoming crossover episodes of Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D.
A source tells me there's even been some chatter about a Righetti heading up an ensemble cast for another series, Chicago M.D., about a Windy City hospital. While another source says there are no plans for a doctors-based show, we can't help but think it's a great idea. Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. have been mega-successes for NBC and series creator Dick Wolf, so why not expand the franchise?
