What are the repercussions of changing one thing in the past? The famous Butterfly Effect. At the end of the last episode, Sally traveled back in time and ended up the day she was killed by Danny. I told myself that Sally being Sally, it was impossible for her to let it happen again.
She always have good intentions but things don’t always end up as she planned. There are usually bad repercussions on her life and the ones around her.
This week’s episode called Rewind, Rewind… explore those repercussions. Her decisions affect not only her but everyone in her life. By changing the past, she changed her relationship with Aiden and Josh and the friendship between them too.
The episode is set during the year after Sally was supposed to die. It shows how her decisions (with her knowledge of the future) will change reality as she knows it in a way she didn’t expect.
I think Sally will end up very different from this experience. Will she learn that, sometime, different choices are not better than the one we made in the first place? Will she end up less impulsive? (Somehow I doubt that).
This is definitively a Sally episode because Aiden and Josh are different in this episode. Don’t get me wrong they are who they are but their lifes are not the same.
I’m sure Sally will return to the timeline we know because if not, what would be the point. It is a pivotal episode. It sets up the base for the story to come to an end. I’m not sure if I liked it, I will need to watch it again. One thing I can tell you, if you’re a fan of Being Human you CAN’T miss this episode.
The episode left me with more questions than answers. I sure hope that the remaining 5 episodes will answer most of them. Being Human will wrap their stories at the end of this season. SyFy announced this week that its 4th seasons will be the last. Let me know what are your expectations from this episode in the comments below.
Be sure to watch it Monday at 9/8 central on SyFy.
