Of course, her aim will put her directly at odds with Oliver, who has vowed not to kill his enemies since his former flame left town. Worse though is when she comes face-to-face with Sara (Caity Lotz), who is a kindred spirit when it comes to crossing the line to get vengeance. That will be especially evident when The Huntress inadvertently takes Laurel hostage and goes toe-to-toe with the Canary in an awesome battle sure to make fanboys (or girls!) squee. After all, it's not every day that future Birds of Prey team members are duking it out.

IT’S A SISTER ACT | Episode 17 “was very much designed to be a Laurel and Sara story using Helena as the fulcrum in that relationship, and Oliver definitely does take a little bit more of a back seat,” previews Guggenheim.

Yes I can see how holding 25 people in a hostage situation SCREAMS letting go. She's got a very focused aim...yeah if you're referring to the concrete she was hoping to splatter Sara's brain all over. Haha who are they trying to kid??

Ummm i like to think of it as, Who has vowed not to kill his enemies since Felicity told him "There's always another way." I'm just saying. Call it my shipper heart all you want. It's not about that. I took it as he took a friend's advice, and went with it.

Yes i wanted them to patch things up. Happy they did. Great. hugs and kisses. But THIS is too much too fast. And it's making it squirm worthy. I mean they don't have to cram 6 years of lost time in One Month. That's just ridiculous.

Well goof for her, you know what they say, Once you go black.... (Sense the sarcasm). Seriously though, she just magically gets her job back?? Hahahaha They're REALLY laying it on thick, in an extremely short amount of time. Smh, i don't get it. This isn't her character at all. Now instead of disliking her already, and wanting her to turn around so we can TRY to like, you've now wrote her in a way, that is just unrealistic, and completely laughable. Heavy sigh. I get this is a comic book tv series. I'm all for the cheesy one liners, and people being naive when it comes to Oliver's identity. Etc. Etc. That's all normal. Idc about that. BUT when most of your MAIN characters is struggling, it does not take them this quickly to bounce back. Idc if it were Batman, Superman, Ironman, Spider-man, etc etc. It just doesn't happen that way.

Sigh. I won't even say anything about this one. LOL I'll just let that slide. But i'm really anxious to see this episode. And i'm excited for Helena to return, and for Sara to kick her ass. And also some Roy/Thea/Sin scenes.

ReplyDeleteGuggenheim just has to put Felicity's name at the end of every interview doesn't he? If he really wanted that he could have done it this episode, instead they made it Lance family drama again. I heard Guggenheim was a lawyer but the way he treats legal system in this show is so funny. First with the crappy court case in State vs Queen and now Laurel reinstated in DA's office just like that. I hope it is a set up and Laurel has not got her job back. At least then it would be believable.
