Arrow - Episode 2.19 - Title Revealed
Mar 14, 2014
Arrow
Thanks to Jordan for the heads up.
Merlyn returns OR some more insight on Olivers psyche
ReplyDeletepersonally I hope it's the first
Intriguing! Wonder if it means someone finds out someones identity?
ReplyDeleteLance will find out the Arrow's identity.
ReplyDeleteSounds existential.
ReplyDelete^ This
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking someone important finds out his identity.
Considering the next episode title is 'Seeing Red', perhaps whoever finds out is killed/injured at the end of the episode (or it could be interpreted as something this episode pushing Roy into the Red Arrow guise).
I say Lance finds out his identity and then bites the dust.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking it might be Thea.
ReplyDeleteI will have a serious grudge if they kill off Quentin. Paul Blackthorne is awesome.
ReplyDeleteJason Todd!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds intruiging, and there are plenty directions the show could take. Honestly I would love for Laurel to find out the truth.
ReplyDeleteOhhh boy!! This sounds like a reveal! Hmm, could this be the episode, i've been waiting for when Oliver tells Thea?? Or Thea finds out? Or maybe this isn't about Oliver at all. Could it be about Roy? Or maybe some newcomer?? Aw man, i just thought of like 5 scenarios. lol Ok this title has me really curious.
ReplyDeleteRight?!?! That's what i thought! That would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteBut so was Tommy .... :(
ReplyDeleteI don't think Merlyn will be wearing his hood costume any more out of respect for the League of Assassins from which he got the costume. Besides that Merlyn doesn't wear a hood or disguise in the comics.
ReplyDeleteI love Quentin. He is awesome. But this is the only way I can imagine them making Laurel relevant. If Quentin dies then Laurel can become the bridge between legal system and Team Arrow thus slowly building her character to become a hero on her own and then in later seasons kill Sara off and become BC.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I like Sara as BC who am I kidding writers always planned on making Laurel BC.
My bet is between Thea or Lance Findout who is Arrow
ReplyDeleteKilling Sara in 2.18 might make Laurel relevant (that's another of my predictions).
ReplyDeleteDo you read spoilers? I don't want to say something and spoil you. Any way if Sara is dead who will train Laurel? Right now Laurel is not even ready for training to be BC. By Sara being dead Laurel still will be an outsider with no ties to Team Arrow. But is Quentin is dead then they can graduate her to Quentin's position and slowly bring her to a positive light and later on Sara can train her and die.
ReplyDeleteI take it comic BC was trained by someone called Ted Grant, maybe they could bring him in to mentor Laurel as she transitions into BC. Or she could head to Nanda Parbat to reinvent herself, Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins style, although she's not quite as twisted as to turn to the LoA yet.. and there's the whole issue of how she gets out of there without ending up where Sara did.
ReplyDeleteI still hope they don't kill any of the Lances. That family has been through enough tragedy. And killing Sara for a third time would be overkill. It's not impossible to transfer the BC mantle from Sara to Laurel without the former dying, they'd just need to come up with a reason for Sara either choosing to retire from vigilante life or being forced into it (e.g. a serious injury).
You know, when a TVLine reporter visited the set a little while ago, one of the teases the cast gave him was that Thea has a storyline coming up where she ends up in a dark place. I can only assume it has to do with Malcolm being her bio-father, and that one's gonna throw her for a loop not only because she's the daughter of a madman, but because her mother and brother lied to her about it (which: way to learn from your mother, Ollie... SMFH). Imagine if she finds out Ollie is Arrow around the same time - another huge lie. And she's still basically a kid, one who's had a pretty messed up life in the last 6 years, too. She could totally spiral out of control when finding out about all these lies and feeling like she can't trust the people closest to her... Roy would have to seriously step up for her or I could see her joining the Dark Side.
ReplyDeleteOh! I just remembered! Malcolm knows Oliver's secret but has yet to tell anyone. He could totally reveal that to Moira or Thea at the worst possible moment. He could totally use all the secrets and deception to turn Thea against her family and get her on his side. I mean, it doesn't make sense for her to want anything to do with a monster like Malcolm, but she'd be thrown for such a loop that who knows WHAT she would do.
Hmmm... going back to Oliver's identity crisis?
ReplyDeleteI read anything I can find. Laurel would still have the connection through Oliver.
ReplyDeleteCaity is shown filming in BC costume for episode 19 and 20. So Sara is not dying till then. Laurel's connection through Oliver did not work well for her in the first half of this season. She was hardly there and when she was there it looked forced. She needs a tangible connection with whatever story is going on in current episodes because I don't think people are much interested in her personal life any more and they badly need to show her in some positive light..
ReplyDeleteI hope she doesn't turn to LoA. We need only one assassin turned hero at a time. Sending Laurel away would put her out of fans orbit and she will be forgotten. I like the idea bringing in Ted Grant. But then again her story line will be separate from the main story with Arrow. I am not sure how much it will work.
ReplyDeleteI don't want any Lances to die too but realistically speaking one of them will die this season or next season. Its drama 101. They could transfer BC title from Sara to Laurel without killing her off. But then what will push Laurel into training and becoming a hero.
Since the issue of training taking time is the big problem with Laurel becoming BC, I think they could have her meet up with Ted Grant or whoever in the end of a season and spend six months training between seasons (assuming they stick to real time, as they did between Seasons 1 and 2) . Then, at the beginning of the following season, she would be gradually weaved into the action while continuing to train and hone her skills. Basically, what I'm saying is they could avoid the problem of isolating Laurel from the main action by using the hiatus as the period when she goes away to train. After that she could return to Starling and become involved in the main story while still training on the side.
ReplyDeleteCaity is still on set and they finished filming episode 2.20 yesterday so that's not going to happen..
ReplyDeletePaul though hasn't been on set since early March according to his twitter account. He tweeted to KC he'd return to Canada soon but he could also return for another show or to flashbacks..
I remember that. I can't wait for all of it! LOL I want to see it so badly. However, I don't believe Malcolm would tell anyone Ollie's secret. I mean yeah he's the villain, but it's like a secret code for all comic book heroes/villains. They just don't go outing to people the identity of the other. I mean if they do find out one's identity anyway. I think it's the only mutual understanding that they have. lol
ReplyDeleteIt's a big posibility...
ReplyDeleteIn the Arrow "Pilot", Oliver Queen is taken hostage by a group of hired thugs all wearing red helmets, meant to be an allusion to the Red Hood Gang. Warner Bros are hinting that Red Hood will be appearing in season two
