It's ridiculous, yes seeing an Age of Ultron sneak peek is awesome but do it in an independent special programme. Don't be taking over the SHIELD slot, it's bad enough we keep having all these in 2 weeks time or longer breaks. Just give us the show we all love!
I have a feeling that line is from some major, mind-blowing revelation. The Deathlok glimpses look promising. Here's hoping that the episode title refers to the conclusion of the show's "finding its feet" period and the beginning of a faster-paced arc. Last night's Sif episode was definitely a major step in the right direction.
I'm guessing May's "it's not what you think" means that her spying has been revealed? I like how they don't drag things out, secrets are exposed and the action is continuous. So excited :)
You've got to be kidding me! another "break"? I know they think this special will make more people tune in, but seriously, it's not helping with the people that already do.
Age of ultron, gaurdians, captain america, "special" - this level of desperation can't be good for the show's renewal chances. They are pulling out all the aces.
Hope coulson would appear in thor 3 seeing as he told lady sif that he prefers thor hears from him directly instead from her but then realized he might not be in thor 3 lol
for some odd reason when i saw the green liquid in coulson flashbacks of his surgery Arrow got on board lol
Actually him telling her that he wants to be the one to tell Thor is what for me was a sign that Coulson is not coming back in any of the soon-to-be made marvel movies. They sort of covered their backs with that line, now when we see Thor in Thor 3 and Avengers 2 we won't be surprised that he still doesn't know. But of course if the show gets cancelled Coulson is probably the only character who will still have a chance of going back to his old job, all the newbies will be axed.
The show is pretty much guaranteed renewal, though. It's performing above ABC's rating average and reportely does well among young males, which is a coveted demo among advertisers. Few shows on TV truly skew male so this is a big plus with advertisers. That being said, AoS does need a boost in the numbers to see a long future. Let's hope this special is worth it because all of the breaks have pretty much driven me crazy. They come back with a break with TWO new episodes, just to air a special and be off for another couple of weeks til the finale? You'd think, after what happened to Revenge and OUaT last season, that ABC would've learned their lesson in terms of haphazard scheduling. Ugh.
Ugh, I don't want a stupid special, I want a new episode! The show has such momentum going on in terms of plot right now. Is it too much to ask for more than 2 new episodes at a time... SMH.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Looks good!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm not interested in this special at all. I just want an episode!

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the news about Marvel Cinematic Universe.

ReplyDeleteThe next new episode is on April 1st and then it runs continuous until the finale

ReplyDeleteThis special is exactly why it needs to be done now if Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D wants to live and fight another season.
ReplyDeleteThe special will determine the outcome if the ratings will spike in the coming reminder of the season or if it will decrease.
Pulling out all the aces is what might save this show for another season. plus we will have some sneak peaks of the upcoming episodes in the special.
ReplyDeleteThis is Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D hail mary play.
no SHIELD ep?! :'(
ReplyDeletethis isnt a SHIELD ep at all though, this is the previously announced ABC marvel special, it will really have no impact on its renewal chances
ReplyDeleteI know its not a shield episode. so tell me why ABC decided to air next week instead of the 25th of Feb when the Olympics ended lol
ReplyDeleteGenerate buzz for the winter soldier out a couple weeks after it, set up an uninterrupted run of 7 episodes for shield leading to the finale

Not really a promo for 1.16.
ReplyDeleteOk, so Mike is turning into Deathlok. First the leg and the eye and now the missile throwing arm?
