Today’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. PaleyFest panelists hinted at Captain America crossovers with S.H.I.E.L.D., which will be back for seven episodes in a row starting April 8 culminating in the Season 1 finale, said exec producer Jeph Loeb. He danced around officially spilling on how the show will overlap with Captain America. “It wouldn’t surprise anyone if [events from] the movie you mentioned were to happen in the show we’re talking about,” he teased.

  1. Yep everyone should watch Cap its gonna have huge fallout for AOS, they are being coy about it so not to spoil the film but judging from the trailers alone some serious stuff is going down and a few non spoilery reviews I read suggest everything will change in the MCU.

I'd rather they announce a season 2 or not.

  3. S2 is so happening there is no way Marvel/Disney/ABC are going to let it go - just that ABC haven't really done any renewal announcements yet. Looking at last year they actually waited until May to renew shows like OUAT and Revenge.

  4. ABC rarely ever announces renewals before the upfronts. That said, AOS is definitely getting renewed.

  5. Yep, it's a sure thing but they'll only announce it in May. Because May is awesome. See what I did there?

  12. makes sense as Cap2 looks to be SHIELD-centric and whatever happens should have major rammifications as to what is happening on AoS

  13. I think season 1 will end as Coulson becomes the "Agent of Nothing".... So excited! :D

  14. Yeah I think they are going to go rogue or pretend to work for SHIELD whilst uncovering the shady things happening.

  15. I think they're going with a specific storyline from the comics called Secret Warriors. In the interview with Patton, he mentioned the story's writer Hickman, who involved Eric Koenig and Agent Garrett in SW, and and I'm guessing Coulson will replace Fury in his role amidst the events. He'll probably bring his team to help, and that's probably where we'll find Skye's parents.

  16. Oh interesting, I can imagine them taking aspects of it yeah. I think S2 could be a really different show if they are willing to take a risk.

  17. Captain america the winter soldier postcredit scene: “After the fall of both S.H.I.E.L.D. & HYDRA we see Baron Von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann) in his underground lair. Loki’s scepter can be seen here, as well as 2 special prisoners: the ‘twins’. These are of course Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). Quicksilver is bouncing from one end in his cell to another while Scarlet Witch is stacking some building blocks with her mind. Watching them, Von Strucker announces ‘The Age of Miracles’ is upon us. And with that we learn the new name for mutants in the Marvel movieverse.”

It's not. This will affect the show at least for the rest of the season.
