  9. Oh thanks, I totally forgot it's almost Easter.

  10. I think it will take a break then. Lemme check.

  11. Oh wait, it actually doesn't need to take a week off, I think:
    3.14 on 3/23
    3.15 on 3/30
    3.16 on 4/6
    3.17 on 4/13
    3.18 on 4/20
    3.19 on 4/27
    3.20 on 5/4
    3.21+3.22 on 5/11

  12. I don't know what time the water shed is for America, but with Ouat being on for two hours, it passes that right? Now all I can imagine is swearing fairy tale characters, lmao

    ReplyDelete
  13. LOL. I love when I'm reading fics and Snow and Charming (or others) randomly say "fuck". Throws me off every time because these are fairy tale characters, but it's hilarious and the best.

  14. I think you misread my comment, I was asking about Revenge, not OuaT. 3.14 and 3.15 of Revenge have already aired.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Oh yeah, I did.
Revenge does in fact have a week off on Easter. Some movie is airing on April 20 from 9 to 11.

  16. Thanks! Damn holidays, always interfering with my Tv shows!

  17. Yayyy for May 11. 2 Hours for OUAT and a unforgettable hour of Revenge.

  18. Makes me wanna sing the Hallelujah. Unless we find out that it's an April's Fool's joke and there STILL isn't a new episode that day... anything is possible with this network.

  19. It's why I laughed so hard when Regina said 'fillet the bitch' lmao ^-^ Cause like you said, they're fairytale characters so it's weird to ever hear them swear. (But in fanfics it can be a bit ooc :'( )

  20. I remember the promo for OUaT 2x12 actually said it "returns with no breaks until the end of the season". That's how proud of themselves they were for that, LOL. See, this is what they should do with all dramas, in my opinion. Nearly all of them are serialized at least to some degree, and would benefit from just one long break and then a continuous uninterrupted run. Revenge especially, it's completely serialized and suffered (both this season and last) from a spotty schedule that still managed to pit it against juggernauts like award shows and major sports events. At least now it has a kickass lead-in with Resurrection, and its audience, while not huge, is clearly loyal.

  21. Heh. I used to find it hard to write fanfic where characters on any network show (not even a fairytale one) swear, because it "sounds" wrong in your head when you never hear them say these words on the show.

I'm not sure how the whole issue of the timeslot vs. the "adult" content even works. On the one hand, you have cases like the Revenge showrunners saying they can make the show darker now that it's moved back from 9pm to 10pm, and the fact that 9-year-old Supernatural has never aired on 8pm, which probably isn't a coincidence given how graphic/bloody the horror scenes can get. On the other hand, you have shows like TVD which are on at 8pm and get away with plenty of sex and gore. I don't get whether the time matters or not.

  22. Same here! I've gotten used to it, though. It's real life. If they weren't on network TV, characters like Sam and Dean would be saying "fuck" all the time. I haven't watched the Veronica Mars movie yet, but I've seen gifs on Tumblr and I like what Veronica can get away with saying.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yes! That was hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Sometimes it becomes downright cringe-worthy, like when Dean calls the YED, a.k.a. the creature that burned his mother alive, "son of a bitch". The PG-13 "swearing" is just painful. LOL.

  25. IU'm so ready for those 2 hours for OUaT and glad that Greys is only one that means is not going to be a horrible death season finale.

    ReplyDelete
  26. LOL, yes! It annoys me sometimes. And the Lost panel at Paleyfest the other day brought it up too. Josh Holloway mentioned there were several situations they were involved in that warranted a "holy fuck!", but they got stuck with son of a bitch.

  27. Scattered much?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yes a two hour finale for Ouat and one hour for The Middle I'm in heaven

  29. SO EXCITED FOR THE REVENGE FINALE!

  30. 1 hour Middle. Is it a two-parter or is it just two episodes?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Nope no April Fools joke all 7 weeks is new but sadly no new episode next tuesday :(

    ReplyDelete
  32. Heh, I was just kidding, I know there actually is an episode on April 1. I was just saying you never know with ABC and their crazy scheduling. :D

    ReplyDelete
  33. Castle only May 12th? With only 5 episodes left I tought it would be earlier...wich means a lot of breaks still:( - with those predictable breaks and airing the finale in the same day as The Blacklist, I can see bad ratings coming:(

    ReplyDelete
  34. I know but no way ABC would be like that lol

    ReplyDelete
  35. Well, S8 finale was also one-hour and we know how it ended...However, I don't think there will be deaths this season

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yes for 2 Hour Finale for Once Upon a Time and a 1 Hour Finale for The Middle, I'm so excited!
