How is Tom Mison not nominated for Sleepy Hollow? Don't people know how hard it is to pull that character off? It's an absolutely brilliant performance.

Mackenzie Lintz is :)
ReplyDeleteDamn some of those are difficult choices. I hope Melissa McBride wins for Best Supporting Actress.
ReplyDeleteMichelle Fairley and Melissa McBride! How awesome is that?
ReplyDeleteNot sure all those youth-oriented TV shows are actually youth-oriented. Nice variety though. Is Orphan Black not eligible?
ReplyDeleteI'm really scared of this. I want Under the Dome and its actors to win in every category because I feel they deserve it, but I have a VERY bad feeling it's being overshadowed by the other nominees. I hate awards :(
ReplyDeleteWoo! I love picking nominations

Best Young Actor
My Pick: Jared Gilmore
Who Will Win: Chandler Riggs
Best Network TV Series: Sleepy Hollow, in 13 episodes they did some great things

Best Actor: Bryan Cranston

Best Supporting Actor: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
Best Supporting Actress: Kathy Bates
Best Guest Star: -

How is POI not here? They've pushed their sci-fi side a lot this season...
ReplyDeleteHow could ANYONE think that Person of Interest is worse than The Blacklist (not mentioning that The Blacklist isn't sci-fi at all)?! Or Revolution on that list?! Is that a joke?
ReplyDeletePOI would be my first choice nomination for sure. The Following is ridiculous, but I find it an enjoyable ridiculous. There's a hell of a lot of tension, and it's great that the second season has focussed less on inept FBI agents.
ReplyDeleteWhat I would vote for:
ReplyDeleteHannibal (although I miss Person of Interest here very much!)
The Americans
Breaking Bad
Arrow
Bryan Cranston (because it's the final season - Mads Mikkelsen deserves it too)
Vera Farmiga (Anna Gunn wouldn't be a bad choice neither)
ironically - Dean Norris for the role of Hank in Breaking Bad... but in this case - Aaron Paul
Michelle Fairley
Charlotte Rampling (but only because she had a lot more screen time than Robert Forster)
Chandler Riggs (and please tell me that putting Jared Gilmore on the list is a joke)
think james purefoy should win best supporting actor from the following x
ReplyDeleteFair enough. But DEXTER?! What are they smoking?!
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly - on both counts. I'm always glad to see Spn nominated for anything, but this one makes no sense. And how can there be not even a nod at Orphan Black in general, or Tatyana Maslany in particular? I can't imagine a reason why it would not qualify.
ReplyDeleteHaha yes I know a lot of fans hated season 8.
ReplyDeleteI think youth-oriented just means what network you're on for some people. I tend to think they don't even watch the show to see if it is youth-oriented or not. I was shocked not to see Tatyana's name in acting, which made me wonder since that is a glaring omission. I mean even the Golden Globes have recognized her, which is more than many of these shows can say.
