The CW’s The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, both of which film in Atlanta, will remain dark Wednesday due to a winter storm that will pass through the northern part of the metropolitan area.
As of Tuesday night, the two Warner Bros. TV series are expected only to miss one day of production.

ReplyDeleteI thought The Originals shot on location in New Orleans?
ReplyDeleteNo, is in Atlanta. Right close to TVD.
ReplyDeleteone day.. not a big deal.
ReplyDeleteSo both shows get a snow day. Good for them.
ReplyDeleteWTF I seriously thought The Originals shot in NOLA, the graveyards they use are identical to the ones seen in AHS: Coven and Ravenswood, which DO film there. So weird.
ReplyDeleteThe Originals does its filming in Georgia most of the time but they do occasionally film in New Orleans. They've already done it a few times this season.
ReplyDeleteOh, okay. I'm guessing they filmed the backdoor pilot there then because now that I think about it the exterior shots in that were much wider and showed a lot more of the city.
ReplyDeleteYep. The backdoor pilot was filmed in New Orleans. They've been back there to film once or twice since then.
ReplyDeleteThey only shot part of the pilot in New Orleans.
ReplyDeleteWoooo, I live in Georgia!
ReplyDelete???? dId davina die once more???
ReplyDelete#NotHotlanta
ReplyDeleteSo does it mean we will get more hiatuses in future?
ReplyDeleteI don't really mind because i get sad when i think about spending the entire summer without TVd or TO.
I expect cute selfies from the cast just like the last snow day!
ReplyDeleteThe scene where they found Rebekah in the docks was the actual docks in New Orleans there even a video where the cast talks bout filming on location for the scenes at the docks.
ReplyDeleteThe dock scene where Elijah found Rebekah is the actually docks in New Orleans lol. if you look on here there's a video uploaded on here where the cast talk bout that scene.
ReplyDeleteBut there's still TB....that's something. Unless you don't watch that?
ReplyDeleteI watch it but it's not enouuuuugh))
ReplyDeleteDuring tv season i watch like 4-5 tv shows every day, not on TV obviously, so it's really hard to have to downsize during summer.
I know what you mean.
