  1. I wonder if she will turn out to be Big Jim's sister, as if his brother-in-law is in the town, stands to reason his sister is as well.

  2. in her 30s , she's not even 25 and she looks younger than that. loved her in misfits

  4. She was so good in Misfits! She's only 24 though, and I don't think she can pull off "in her 30s" so they might have to age her character down or just not mention her age. Congrats Karla!

  6. lol, no but she has dark skin like Junior, so maybe she could be her sister in law.

Great, yet another pointless character, that doesn't exist in the book. There are SO MANY great characters in the book, yet the showrunners just can't help themselves, and they keep introducing these new totally uninteresting people. What bugs me the most is that this really could have been a great show. It's a shame that all we got was this abomination. Oh well...

  9. I think what makes this show work is that the show doesn't have much to do with the books at all.

Really? Have you read the book? Because it is so much better in pretty much every aspect. Seriously, so far in the show, there wasn't a single change for the better. I'm not some fanatic who's strictly against changing anything from the book, but the changes have to work and make sense, and that's just not the case here. I really wish Showtime kept their rights to this, a 12 hour version of the book could have been great. Anyway, you're entitled to have your own opinion, obviously, and if you like the show, good for you :)

  11. Of course the book is better, aren't all books better than the TV or move versions? LOL
As for making the changes work and making sense for the show to work, I think that the majority of the views of this show would agree with me, and not with you, that it's a good thing that it's not solely based on the show.
And you are right, I am entitled to my opinion, as you are, too. But both of your comments do make you out to be semi fanatical...
