It looks like Klaus is up and walking around (and carrying Papa Tundre's blade so I guess he got it out) from the one picture he's in. It looks like this episode might be very Rebekah-focused and we'll get more 1919 flashbacks about Rebekah & Marcel pissed off Genevieve.
I'm gonna guess based on the photo's that the reason Rebekah has a "job" (lololololwut) is because it allowed her to get close to the red headed witch in order to coax her into luring Mikael to New Orleans.
He was brought there with a shirt. THey just took it off. It is the shirt he had on underneath his jacket when he was stabbed. I imagine Klaus is gonna go hybrid and reach into his heart and pull out the blade. I am wondering if at that point it looks like he finds Rebekah walking the halls hallucinating. He may give his blood to heal her. I imagine she will be grateful. However; I only imagine Marcel & her secret will be released at the end of this episode. But somehow I don't think he will dagger her. He doesn't have the daggers; but I honestly feel he will disown her as a sister. And Elijah will be in the middle trying to mend their relationship.
I was wondering about the woman talking to Elijah too. I think you're right. Celeste did say that she had been resurrected before, and there was a flashback to her in the body of a Caucasian woman with brown hair.
I'm pretty sure Klaus' character has somehow grown past the daggering. Less recently, he stopped compelling women to fall in love with him, too, and now he doesn't want to compel women to have feelings for anyone. I don't think vampires stay frozen with their personalities in this mythology. They change over time, and Klaus isn't just a vampire so there's more room for growth. It's hard to say what he'll do to Rebekah, if anything. He might just throw everyone out of the house again, this time including Marcel.
I don't think we've ever seen Klaus compel a woman to love him/be with him. Damon has (Caroline in Season 1 (and he did try to compel Elena to kiss him in Season 1 when he wasn't aware Stefan had given her vervain), Andi Starr in Season 2) but I don't recall ever seeing Klaus do that.
Stefan found letters in Klaus' safe proving that he used to do compel women to fall in love with him, and then kill them. He clearly doesn't do that anymore.
It doesn't look like Elijah will get there in time, not with Marcel determined to keep his secret and regain power, and every other vampire loyal to Marcel. I don't think Klaus will blame Elijah for that, though. Klaus has probably been closer to him over the centuries than to Rebekah. Elijah's suffering might be part of the reason Klaus hunted Katherine for 500 years. The witches are very smart. I think they will do the damage they intend to do, which apparently will be aimed at tearing the family apart, and then Klaus will either save himself or be left alone to put his shirt back on (insert fangirl laugh) and look for Rebekah. It might be her name that he screams over and over in rage. He'll probably feel like stabbing her with that dark object, and then change his mind at the sight of her. Marcel is the problem, he's very slick. He manipulated Rebekah, and he's obviously doing the same to Cami. He's a usurper. Bad news, especially for vulnerable women. Someone should find Cami a new love interest. I think Hayley will later get pissed off because the resurrected witches, having done their damage, will go away on their own, leaving no one left who knows how to lift the curse on the Crescent wolves. Papa Tunde only lasted one episode and then sacrificed himself because he did what he was brought back to do.
That doesn't prove or even suggest he compelled them. Klaus would take the women home, kill them, rifle through their stuff and jack their letters. He's a good looking guy and can be charming when he chooses to be, making them take him home of their own free will probably got him off in some way. That very last part is as much as a guess as compulsion though.
Or at the very least, when Rebekah is as her worst in the hallucinations and screaming bloody murder that she was behind Mikael coming to NOLA - Genevieve will make sure Klaus hears her confession.
I thought that scene implied that he took the letters of his victims as trophies - similar to the way Stefan wrote the names of his victims on his closet wall back in Chicago. Not that he had sex with them or anything. The letter that Stefan held up and read was written to some girl by a guy named Alfonso.
What episode in Vampire Diaries did we see Klaus compel a woman to fall in love with him. I remember in flashback women already being attracted to him, and him compelling them to stay calm as he drank their blood.(I think he drank them dry too.) And because he is 1000 years old, I believe he has evolved in his ways with dealing with humans and other supernatural beings. Meaning they do have egos yet Klaus i able to discern which ones are real good hearted yet which ones are manipulative. That is just my opinion. I am sure I might get attacked by other fans here in a bit. LOL
Yeah I thought so too. It was almost as if he was saving a part of their existence; their history. I think he knew he needed to drink them. By the way I might add that they are very fortunate Klaus didn't kill all of them for killing Kol. I honestly don't know how Elijah let them live for killing Kol.
Oh, I didn't notice the part where the letters were written to or from other people. Interesting. Since Klaus isn't taking trophies anymore, he's still evolved.
Kol was in that episode? A lot of character deaths make fans unhappy, but if the writers did everything that fans wanted, shows would be too predicable. As much as I'd like to see Kol back, I'd rather be surprised if it ever happens.
That's not cool. That would be so weird/gross and problematic. It would be like Katherine sleeping with Stefan now that's she's possessing Elena or had Klaus (while in Tyler's body) slept with Caroline. Elijah was obviously unaware that it was Celeste since he thought she was dead and just now as found out she didn't stay dead.
There was no blood when it went in. I a guessing he is gonna go hybrid and yank it out. Put his shirt and walk out. No blood because it was a supernatural blade. The way it entered his body as if was merging itself to his heart rather than stabbing it.
Yeah I am thinking that perhaps Klaus finds Rebekah and rather than aid her with his blood he leaves her in that state of mind. As he leaves and joins Elijah, I imagine Elijah will ask where is Rebekah and at that point, he will say something like " "Rebekah is where she belongs." I think Klaus may even disown Marcel. Just taking a guess
This link pretty much confirms that Klaus finds out about what Rebekah and Marcel did. He is telling Cami about; most likely talking about how hurt he is. I definitely now believe Klaus is choosing not to kill them; but rather disown them.
I think Klaus only kept Marcel around to watch him, but since both Marcel and Rebekah are clearly a bigger threat than Klaus probably thought they were before, he'll throw them out of the house at the very least. It looks like they're going to try to attack the witches on their own, but they might end up making everything worse. The synopsis for the episode after this hints that Celeste might leave Sabine's body soon, possibly creating a short reprieve to give people time to regroup or negotiate. If this is the case, Hayley might play a role as well in ensuring that the witches keep wanting to fight. Marcel has caused so much trouble already. If the witches came back for revenge because the Harvest was messed with, then it's all Marcel's fault. He initially only wanted Davina around so that he could use her to control the witches, and now suddenly he thinks he's her surrogate father. He has to go, and that coven should either lose their power or be forced to find a different way to practice magic.
Of course he won't kill them but i am sure he will be very hurt. I wonder if he will lash out at innocent people this time, probably not, Cami will talk him out of it. I am will be very disleased if he is more angry with Rebekah than Marcel. If he forives Marcel and continues to blame Rebekah i am going to be so pissed off. Marcel always gets away with betraying him.
I hope he doesn't get the dagger out himself because it will be underwhelming. The big bad scary knife that is supposed to make him wish he could die and it gets yanked out by himself.... But you are probably right he will get it out himself, this season has been pretty underwhelming so far, with Papa tunde just killing himself instead of waging war on Klaus.
Elijah knew that Celeste had the ability to resurrect herself, but we'll have to wait for the episode to see what exactly he did the first time he saw her resurrected. He kissed Sabine after admitting that he's known for a while that she was Celeste. You're right, it's not cool. It also looks like Stefan might sleep with Katherine while she's in Elena's body before anyone figures out what's going on. Two different TVD episode synopses talk about secrets being revealed. There's no sure way to tell when people will find out what Katherine did, or how Stefan will react. He thinks Katherine is a victim, or a survivor of stuff Klaus did. Personally I think that's just an excuse. Katherine did things that could be perceived as provoking Klaus, and sometimes I wonder if HE is the vampire she's secretly in love with and she wants his attention. As much as Stefan will want to save Elena, I doubt he'll want to hurt Katherine. Like Elijah refusing to definitively choose between his family and Hayley, Stefan will want to play both sides of the fence when it comes to Katherine and Elena. He'll want to save them both in some way. I wouldn't rule out the possibility that Stefan has fallen back in love with Katherine and he doesn't realize it. Parallels can be drawn between Elijah and Stefan, as well as between Klaus and Damon. It makes me wonder what put Tatia in the middle of Elijah and Klaus. I wonder if the brother thing will be addressed as the doppelganger issue is brought to a close at the end of this season of TVD.
There is no excuse for Katherine killing. Just like there was no excuse for Stefan killing for the pleasure of it. And I feel that because he knows how he killed so many that he has to believe there is redemption for all. Because if he didn't think like that then he wouldn't be able to believe there is redemption for himself. I think that is why he feels that way for Katherine. But he needs to wake up and see that Katherine has not guilt for killing. WHen she was dying she was deceiving all around her. She was already plotting to destroy Elena. Klaus knows evil and it a shame he was not there to watch Katherine die as he would have stopped her from taking over Elena's body
Well personally I don't think Monique is innocent. Klaus was right to go after all. That crazy witch is all down for killing any witch who doesn't agree with them. The Bennet witches are good. Whereas these children of the corn witches are nuts. Perhaps when Davina comes back from the dead she will take out some of the witches who try to control and force their will upon other witches.
As crazy as this sounds, I hope Genevieve sticks around for a while, maybe as a multifaceted character. She couldn't have always been vengeful and creepy. Am I wrong in saying that the actress has an endearing look about her?
I had a feeling from the very beginning that Monique will end up bad, i wasn't sure that she will come back from the dead but i was sure if she did she would be bad. It's all about the casting, the actress looks nothing like her mother or aunt, who look both likable and sympathetic, on the contrary she has this spooky appearance about her, with her huge weird colored eyes. So when she started giving Sophie the evil look from the very beginning of the last episode i started saying goodbye to my favorite female character. Now i will have to wait for thme to make Rebekah as cool as she used to be or root for Davina who is just a child. Urghh... Klaus went after Monique because his buddy was threatened (Kieran))) so i am okay with this particular transgression, he has done much worse in the past. I wonder if Davina comes back normal or at first will be brainwashed too.... The only witch that needs to die is Celeste, without her leadership the others will fall on their faces again like they did for centuries, letting Mikaelson and even marcel to control them.
The actress does, your right. But these witches allowed themselves to be controlled by Papa Tunde back in the die. He killed witches who didn't believe in his ways. So the new orleans witches; don't really seem to come from good stock. LOL
I don't think Elijah knew Celeste had kept her spirit alive. What I understood is that he was aware she could do it if she wanted to, but he couldn't say for sure if she had one way or another.
If Elijah did sleep with Celeste while she was possessing this other girl (considering she IS possessing this body to begin with), I highly doubt he knew she was Celeste while doing so.
Elijah found out at some point that Celeste left her life force in someone named Sabine. He just didn't say exactly when it was that he found out. He told Celeste what he knew when she asked him how he figured out who she was. I'm not sure if we'll know whether or not he slept with the woman in 1919, but he did know that Sabine was Celeste when he kissed her in the latest episode. That's why I was thinking that if Celeste disappears for a while, leaving Sabine behind, Elijah might go looking for Sabine either to explain himself or to try to bring Celeste back for a conversation. If it's the first one, he's nice and noble, but if he just wants Celeste back in Sabine's body, the man has a problem. He's supposed to have all these feelings for Hayley, yet he's demonstrated that holding onto Celeste is more important to him. It's another way that he wants to have his cake and eat it too. I don't think Hayley will want to be with Elijah for very long if he keeps wandering off to an old girlfriend. I never thought that Hayley and Elijah would make a good pairing, but Elijah's bizarre connection to Celeste really isn't fair to Hayley. I'm starting to understand why she might head out to the bayou and join the werewolves.
That realization seems to have been very very resent. That was my point. He mentioned this "when Davina was drawing" "when Sophie didn't find power in your remains". These events happened not too long ago. He has not know for years.
If Celeste seduced him in the 1919's then she's been toying and manipulating him for a very very long time.
And really I think the way he reacted in the end of the last episode, I dunno… I think he might be getting over Celeste...
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeletePretty sure that's a hallucination from Rebekah. Klaus wasn't brought there with that shirt
ReplyDeleteDamn. Rebekah is looking ragged in that fourth photo. Nice job, hair and makeup people.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna guess based on the photo's that the reason Rebekah has a "job" (lololololwut) is because it allowed her to get close to the red headed witch in order to coax her into luring Mikael to New Orleans.

ReplyDeletehe should have a hole in it tough, he doesen't clearly a hallucination
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Genevieve will have Rebekah and Klaus fight each other in their hallucinations thinking the other is someone/something else.....
ReplyDeleteI'm also thinking that chick Elijah is talking too, is maybe another body Celeste possessed at that time.
But it didn't leave a hole in his shirt when it went into him. Maybe it won't create a hole when it comes out either?
ReplyDeleteI was wondering about the woman talking to Elijah too. I think you're right. Celeste did say that she had been resurrected before, and there was a flashback to her in the body of a Caucasian woman with brown hair.
