It was only a matter of time before this happened.
ReplyDeleteThis show started off with great ratings, but by episode 4, it fell off the radar.
ReplyDeleteIt's not actually cancelled with a big C, though.
ReplyDeleteSigh, I feel REALLY bad for Michael J. Fox. He's a fantastic actor that returned to TV not because of the money but because it was his passion. Doing a show despite your sickness is something to be admired.
ReplyDeleteI hope that doesen't make him leave TV for good :(
He's been conffirmed to make another appearance on The Good Wife, so he's got that going for him :)
ReplyDeleteawesome :D
ReplyDeleteI don't watch the Good Wife but at least that means he doesen't drop off the face of the earth again.
Always admired him as an actor
Brasil AMOu
ReplyDeleteP.A.R.T.Y ON BRAZIL
A day to all brazilians never forget!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's good. His role on TGW is great and has always worked out very well.
ReplyDeleteWe all knew that they will cancel
ReplyDeleteAww, if you had just written "so he's got that going for him, which is nice" it would've been a full meme :D haha
ReplyDeleteCritics liked About a Boy A LOT more than MJF Show. So it has that going for it.
ReplyDeleteThe show had another season left in it before the big axe.
ReplyDeleteYeah I feel bad, I really wanted to like the show but the comedy wasn't doing it for me.
ReplyDeleteThat is good I love him in that show.
ReplyDeleteTo me that is now surprise here. At first i was excited about MJF returning back, but after i watched 1-2 episode i saw that the show i just another comedy. Even MJF can't make it last for 8-9 seasons. So to me no surprise. But hey he is a good actor and he can guest star on every show there is here and can pulled it off easy (i mean get in the story easy).
ReplyDeleteI had that in mind! haha
ReplyDeleteI strongly recommend The Good Wife, it's one of my favorites shows and Fox' role is so good at getting on my nerves!
ReplyDeleteI believe this. Out of curiosity, where are the links that said that About a Boy has had positive reviews. I have anticipated this show for a year.
ReplyDeleteErm, what?
ReplyDeleteIt's out of schedule, sure, but the network hasn't officially cancelled the show, and I hear there are plans to resume broadcast of the seven unaired episodes in April, should they find a slot in the schedule. Even if this turns out to be untrue, it's still a possibility and STV jumped to conclusions by labelling it as cancelled so fast.
ReplyDeleteThe source articles we referred to say it's cancelled.
ReplyDeleteThe sites I follow all used "cancelled" lightly, as in "essentially cancelled" (TVLine), "pulling (...) off the schedule" (TV.com) and "basically cancelled" (The AV Club), because there's this (admitedly slim) chance of it airing sooner rather than later. Some even say NBC might be contractually obligated to air them on primetime, but as far as I can tell, that's not official.
