  1. Yes to the Ghostfacers coming back! I've missed them - please don't die, though.

that arrow episode going to epic.....

  3. Yes! The reign synopsis is awesome!!! I can't wait for Mary's mother, Marie de Guise to make an appearance. Also, i'm eager to see how Amy Brenneman plays the role :).

  4. Another amazing sounding episode, they just keep getting better and better. Fingers crossed. Can't wait tell march.

  5. The Originals - How the hell is Hayley (apparently by herself in the bayou) holding hostage the same witch who orchestrated the capture and torture of two thirds of the Original family? Magic pregnancy powers?
Arrow - What the synopsis doesn't tell you (brace yourselves, Laurel haters) is that this episode is supposed to be heavy on the Oliver/Laurel stuff. You've been warned. Don't shoot the messenger.
The Vampire Diaries - G*ddammit! Will someone please kill Wes Maxfield already and get the doppelgangers back in their rightful bodies. And spiraling Damon is still acting out. Swell. If he's going to bait Tyler into a fight he damn well better kill 'em or it's a complete waste of an episodic subplot.

  6. TO: Pheobe's werewolf clan? Was that a typo on their part? How can she hold Sabine hostage anyway? Can't Celeste just giver her an aneurysm (the way all other witches can on vampires & werewolves)? I wish they would stop giving Klaus scenes with Camille - it just doesn't work for me.

TVD: I guess this is the episode with the flashback to Nadia's childhood. These people don't all have to be friends with each other. Liv is probably the new Bonnie - there to be used all the time. Tyler I don't even think is really part of their friendship circle anyway - I would be fine if he and Caroline were done for good but it sounds like they're going to become friends (just like Caroline & Matt did after their break-up) - too predictable.

TTP: Knew Julian would be sooner or later this season.

SPN: Looks like the Ghostfacers will be returning!

  7. The Originals: Looks like a lot is going to go down in the February 25 episode. I can't understand how Hayley will take a super-witch hostage, unless someone ends up downgrading their powers before that. Maybe Celeste will be forced out of Sabine after taking Klaus and Rebekah hostage, or she'll slink back into the beyond herself because her purpose will be fulfilled. Elijah forming an alliance with Monique looks like an interesting twist. He'll probably know by the end of this episode what Hayley is all about, and he'll want to either help Sabine or protect the baby from the ramifications of Hayley's behavior, maybe both. Good to know that Cami will finally find out what Marcel is capable of, even if she still blames Klaus for everything wrong with her life. It's weird how Klaus is drawn to women who would hate him, but are just attracted enough to want to have a fling with him. Now we know what Thierry will be doing. I didn't think he would get caught up in the war just for Marcel and Rebekah. They probably won't tell him what they did, but it looks like they'll be teamed up in doing something other than taking down Klaus for once. Did you know that the title of this episode means "The Big Horn"?

The Vampire Diaries: I am very confused. Someone should delete the earlier post listing the titles of future episodes. I don't recall seeing the title "Gone Girl" anywhere in there, and it's still hard to say whether the synopsis is referring to Elena or Katherine. If Nadia is going to have flashbacks, then Katherine might get kidnapped. Maybe it'll be some big manipulation, or maybe Augustine will take her. It looks like Liv will be asked to help find Elena? Tyler is probably going to cause a problem in rescuing Elena on February 27. I can't think of another reason why Damon would be angry with him, unless Wes conditions Damon to bait Tyler. It's looking less and less like those travelers are involved with the new Big Bad. The description of him so far, however brief, doesn't make him look like someone interested in turning people against each other without provocation.

  8. I assumed that Phoebe was the name of the werewolf Hayley made friends with in the bayou. Celeste and her powers might be gone by the end of the upcoming episode. This is the episode after that. Sabine by herself probably won't remember anything that happened, and she wouldn't have enough power to fight a huge pack of werewolves. Hayley will be desperate to lift the curse on her werewolf family, and people who are familiar with her character won't be surprised by what she does. I'm not saying Hayley is completely to blame. She's only responsible for her own actions. Someone should definitely hold Marcel accountable for his. Too bad the werewolves want to blame the Originals too, even though the cursing and baby-snatching happened after they got chased off by Mikael.

I don't think Liv is the new Bonnie. I think she's going to learn from Bonnie for a while before Bonnie gets her powers back. There's a possibility that Liv will leave TVD or cross over onto TO at least once. Something not posted on this website was a TV Guide article with an in-depth interview with Candice Accola about Caroline and Tyler. She said that it's part of Caroline's character to want everything perfect, which means that she will want to set things right with Tyler. They will never be in a romantic relationship again. Candice also said she didn't believe it was ever the writers' intention for Caroline to be with Klaus either. Shippers made that an issue that needed to be addressed or resolved because even the actors were hearing too much about it. People on and running both shows seem to be at THEIR wits' end.

  9. So excited for Reign. I almost didn't expect to ever see Marie de Guise, and it sounds like her presence will have Henry and Catherine teaming up. Very glad Francis is apparently back in the game. At this point I don't poo-poo either Frary or Mash, even if I am rooting for Frary, but Catherine being Bash and Mary's only real obstacle will get old fast.

The Originals, Tomorrow People and Arrow look good, too. I'll be happy for all of my shows to be back. This week is killing me lol.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I've been catching up on episodes of The Tomorrow People. That show just keeps getting better. I'm also a fan of Reign, but it's hard to watch because I know, historically, how it all eventually ends. Maybe the people running the show will do something else creative to keep us all on our toes.

  11. The only female werewolf Hayley encounter earlier in the season was Eve. We've since been introduced in the last episode to Jackson & Oliver - but I'm pretty sure that's it (aside from Dwayne who Tyler killed).

Caroline I could see wanting everyone to be friends with everyone else but Tyler has always been on the outside of their little group. His only real connection to the core group was Caroline - nobody else seemed to care if he lived or died (aside from maybe Matt - but I don't think Matt & Tyler even had a scene together in Season 4). I don't think Caroline & Tyler really should become great friends at this point though. Their entire relationship in Season 4 was based on sex - there was not really much substance to it so I think it would actually make more sense if they weren't friends post-break-up.

    ReplyDelete
  12. It was Eve I was thinking of. I guess there is a typo, then. Caroline and Tyler are supposed to come to an understanding, so it might be a while before they can actually be friends. They'll probably just figure out a way to get along. It looks like things are set up for Tyler to be Matt's very protective best friend again. Matt needs it right now. I think Tyler being on the outskirts of things was mostly due to him being out of town a lot for various reasons. Before that, he was kept at arm's length because he was overly defensive of Matt while Elena ran around with Stefan. A lot has changed, but I think Matt and Tyler's friendship endured through all of it somehow.

  13. Jesus CW. The first sentence of that Arrow one is major spoilers.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Episode 15 will not be about Laurel. That was a mistake of the writer of that article that joined two sentences of SA. SA talked about Ollie and Laurel's scene in 2.14 and then went on to talk about episode2.15, and whoever wrote this (it wasn't an actual interview but a Q&A panel) simply misunderstood him.
Laurel might not even be icluded in this episode.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I wonder if this big reveal will come at the end of episode 2.14..

    ReplyDelete
  16. In Season 1 Tyler was barely around - but he was friends with Matt and we saw him interact with the other characters. In Season 2 he got the werewolf storyline but was still left outside the group (he had to find out Damon killed Mason from a third party) and nobody really informed him about what was going on and then he decided to leave town with Jules. In Season 3 he was turned into a hybrid and then left town again but nobody other than Matt or Caroline seemed to care about his life at all. In Season 4 he was in direct conflict with the core group - everyone but Tyler (and Kol) seemed to be on-board with curing Elena and Tyler tried to impede their efforts to find the cure with his attempt to bury Klaus in concrete (which resulted in pissing off Klaus and leading to the deaths of 12 hybrids and Carol Lockwood) which lead to Tyler leaving town again.

  17. I'm a little confused about the Ghostfacers. It says "Guest Star Ryan Moss" after mentioning Harry but Travis Wester has played him in the other episodes. Is it a typo or recast?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I was wondering that too. Thanks for checking as now I don't have to.

    ReplyDelete
  19. they were both in the promo too

    ReplyDelete
  20. Excited for the return of the Ghostfacers and Reign (which is my favourite show this season) sounds reaaly intruiging.
I find it interesting that Star Crossed will be new on the Monday with I'm pressuming a repeat of some other show following it? Why? Also why arent they premiering T100 as soon as Arrow returns and moving TTP to Monday behind SC right away when they would have had a solid couple of weeks to promote the hell out of the new Monday line up and T100? Now SC will go a few weeks with very little or no support and T100 will have to air episodes without Arrow's support?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Amused by the "Phoebe" typo in The Originals.

TVD: is there ever an episode synopsis that doesn't include the phrase "save Elena" or "protect Elena"? As well as "[x] learns of a horrible/terrifying secret/plan"? Jesus.

Arrow: sounds like most of the episode is island flashbacks. Strange. I just hope there's going to be more to Slade turning on Oliver than finding out that Oliver supposedly chose to save Sara over Shado (which I still call BS on, Oliver didn't make a "choice", he just jumped in front of Sara instinctively when Ivo pointed his gun at her; he would've done the same for Shado). I hate it when villains have stupid petty reasons for their villainy. Of course, we also know Oliver put an arrow in Slade's eye, but that could have simply been in self-defense when Slade went nuts after finding out the truth.

TTP: yes to Julian coming back (I think he has the potential to be the Magneto-esque figure of the series), no to Astrid seeking comfort with John. Look, they have chemistry, their scenes in 2x12 were nice - it's all true. But I just can't with TV writers forcing romance between two characters in some contrived way because fans went gaga over the pairing (hello, Olicity). If you want to do it - which I'm iffy about because Astrid is still a high-school kid, anyway - give it gradual, believable build-up. Don't just start writing scenes with longing stares and almost-kisses between them all of a sudden. Sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  22. sounds like most of the episode are going to be flashbacks from the island...
can't wait to see how oliver reacts when he find out that slade is still alive and in starling city ! :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. This is The Odyssey episode of this year and yes, most of it will take place on the island..

    ReplyDelete
  24. I really can't stand the Ghostfacers, hope this ep is better with them.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Arrow: Dear Lord! Going strictly by the description, no wonder this is Stephen Amell's favourite episode so far. But I'm surprised they revealed that Oliver will find out about Slade in this episode. This doesn't necessarily mean a face-off though. That is what I'm looking forward to more tbh :)

    ReplyDelete
  26. Really? Hayley's that good that she can overpower Sabine/Celeste?? And noooo please, I don't like Monique, I want Davina back...:( Looking forward to Klaus' flashbacks though.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Loving it, that Astrid and John will spend some time together in episode 1X15 more scenes to fan vid them lol :) cant wait! TTP the CW might be doing something good because I havent been a regular to the network in years maybe since the WB with Roswell, and coming from a 40 yr. old mother of 3 ;)

    ReplyDelete
  28. Given that it's a Jenny Klein episode I'm not sure. I hope this one is OK. I rewatched their other episodes not long ago and they were better than I remembered, but a little goes a long way.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Damn shoddy internet journalism. Thanks for the correction.

    ReplyDelete
  30. well the synopsis empathizes on 'Sabine' maybe this is actually Sabine. Not Celeste. Celeste could've left the host or lost the magic from the harvest ritual (what would indicate that Davina might be back at that point).
I'm kinda rooting for Elijah to see Hayleys real face in that episode. He is a monster himself, sure. But he had that innocent picture of her up until now. Her holding his lost love hostage sounds...well...interesting.

No, Wes has to survive, he and Enzo are the only thing that make this season interesting. In fact I'd say Rick Cosnett and Michael Malarkey are the best actors to join TVD ever since Claire, Daniel and Joseph. Hoping for some badass Tyler scenes as well.

Now Nadia is a real problem, I thought I could tolerate the awfull performance but Olga Fonda isn't delivering anything

    ReplyDelete
  31. TO - i don't see how an opera fits into all of this. With so much going on how do they have time to go to opera? and the name is even more confusing Grand Guignol used to be a theatre that specialized in realistic horror shows.
No! Elijah stay the hell away from allying with witches! So either he is trying to find Sabine to protect her from Klaus or she has lost witches' support due to using them as pawns and now Monique is against her. Either way i don't like the way this is going. Elijah better not betray his siblings to save her. I can't believe i am saying this but in battle Celeste vs Hayley i am rooting for Hayley. At least Hayley doesn't have a grudge against his siblings.

TVD - yes i am dying to see flashbacks from the Nadia's pov. *sarcasm*

What huge secret will bonnie find out? Also does Damon now immune to Tyler's venom just because he is kickass like Mikael used to be?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Mikael burned down the opera, flashing back to the first destruction of NO makes sense.

Also I could care less, the more Sebastian Roché we get the better, love this guy and I LOVE Mikael. Best villain ever (sadly completely wasted on TVD).

I don't know why he'd want to find Celeste/Sabine but I guess it's about properly saying goodbye.
Now Hayley holding someone hostage could be awesome, Elijah could (finally) see her real face.

Oh, thank god I'm not the only Nadia hater...this accent is killing me

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yes it can be just Sabine.
I don't think Elijah will see Hayley's real face in that episode. Because there is nothing to see, she is just fighting for her clan, so at most he will be upset that she didn't ask his permission and went against him. But after a quick apology he will forgive her again. Hayley is not Katherine, she won't kill just for fun of it, and as long as she has a family as a motive elijah will be alright with it.
Nadia is no annoying that i am no longer looking forward to flashbacks with her. And i LOVE flashbacks.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Thank for reminding me about the opera. I totally forgot. Celeste came back to life wearing fancy dress so she probably died at the opera house, maybe marcel locked her up in one of burning rooms.
I hope they use the oppotunity to show as much of Mikael as possible, frankly i can't imagine what he can possibly do beside appear in the room and siblings start to run but i would love to get some Elijah/Mikael interaction. He made it clear he wasn't after them so perhaps he met them first without Klaus and they had a conversation. I really want to see Elijah get into fight with Mikael and try to save Klaus. Elijah's fan in me will literally die from happiness if that happens)) Also it was mentioned that Mikael left a trail of dead vampire bodies behind him so if they show him going crazy and murdering vamps = awesomeness
The only proper goodbye i want Elijah to give Celeste is a snapped neck. He did say no one hurts my family and lives, so he should stand by his words.
I didn't mind Nadia until she helped her mummy to hurt Elena. i think it was stupid of her to indulge Kat's desire, anyone with a brain could see it won't end well for both of them. And then she made another mistake by staying in MF. Her mother wants nothing to do with her, yet she is risking her life to help her get laid.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Supernatural: OK, that's really strange, it should be episode 15 on March 4th, and I recall 916 was named Thinman (as it's stated here) and 915 was Blade Runners. I know these two episodes were filmed out of order, so are they going to show them like that too?!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. - If Sabine is herself and not Celeste she can't help Hayley fix her pack problem and there's no reason to hold her hostage.
    - You're rooting against Hayley. This is not news.
    - Wes and Enzo aren't close to interesting or entertaining. Besides the occasional amusing line they toss Enzo, those two characters do not add anything positive in the entertainment column. One is an obnoxious emotional parasite and the other is a cartoonishly maniacal villain in a plot going nowhere.
    - Olga Fonda is the least of TVD's problems this season. If they were to fix the multitude of other issues plaguing this season her presence and performance would undoubtedly seem much more tolerable or, at the very least, much less noticeable.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Elijah mentioned something about Celeste leaving part of her life force inside a witch named Sabine when she died. I think that life force is passed on to other witches in future generations before Celeste disappears, but it's hard to say what witch in what family will hold the life force. Sabine might have to have descendants in order for Celeste to ever come back again. Elijah got upset when Hayley messed with Celeste's remains because he has a strange fixation on holding onto what's left of women he's loved. He might want to give Celeste a chance to redeem herself someday, making him want to keep Sabine safe in case her future grandchild, for instance, is the next witch Celeste will possess. We might find out more about this in the February 25 episode. It's possible that Elijah has seen Celeste resurrected before, and it ended quite differently. If I'm right about Elijah wanting to preserve what's left of Celeste for whatever reason, Hayley will be making a big mistake by taking Sabine hostage. Even if she gets that curse lifted, she will have irritated Elijah so much that he will have no problem fighting a war against her family. I miss Elijah's interactions with Elena. If Elena never gets back into her own body and is played by a different actress (which could be possible if Katherine sticks around after the doppelganger issue is resolved this season), Elijah and Elena should totally be an endgame relationship. A major perk is that both Klaus and Rebekah have already killed her, and she understands Elijah's loyalty to his family. Celeste didn't, and Hayley's attachment to her own family has torn a town apart.

I remember that the opera was the site where the fire started. What I don't understand is how Elijah got separated from Klaus and Rebekah. Klaus was looking for a new brother in Chicago in 1922, as if Elijah disappointed him somehow. I can't see Elijah joining forces with Mikael. Something else must have happened to make Elijah walk away from his siblings. The last time we saw him do that was after The Original Witch tried to kill all of them.

Nadia's accent bothers me too. I don't mind Katherine if it means seeing Elena as someone different to end the doppelganger stuff. It looks like Katherine will be around for a while, but hopefully Nadia will give up and leave town or something. She is worse than Katherine and a terrible influence on someone already homicidal. I doubt that Damon is immune to Tyler's venom. Someone will probably use mind control or a spell to make Damon pick a fight with Tyler because they want Damon dead.

    ReplyDelete
  38. The episode description for TVD still says Elena - even though we know it's not Elena and that Katherine is possessing her. It could be the same thing with TO - the description says Sabine but it's really Celeste.

    ReplyDelete
  39. GHOSTFACER YES! that should have been the spinoff show. I kind of missed them after season 5 thing for the dvd but how can you forget them.
