The veteran actor is set to reprise his Emmy-winning role as Sheldon and Leonard’s childhood idol Professor Proton later this season, TVLine has learned exclusively.
I agree. I like Bob Newhart but I don't think this character has that much longevity. I didn't find him as hilarious as everyone else seemed to either.
I only hope they get to actually use him this time. He's a great actor and has been stuck in a role with no actual plot or character development. It's fine for a funny guest star in a 2 minute scene, not so much for a recurring guest actor.
Agreed. What they did with him is so frustrating really - it's the same scenes over and over, he's weirded out by Sheldon, then attracted to Penny, then weirded out by Sheldon again. Repeat ad infinitum.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Nice! its always great to see him on the show.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I feel like they are over using him now.
ReplyDeleteOh no I hate professor proton....
