 Bernadette/Howard & Amy/Sheldon plot
The reaction where Sheldon finds out that Amy wants to have Valentine's Day dinner was priceless. Him going on a train was like him winning the lottery. It was fun to see Sheldon find a friend that was nearly exactly like him. Sheldon’s behavior with his friend, Eric was inappropriate but also entertaining on the train. Bernadette, as usual gets all sassy on them and asks Sheldon to go and join Amy. He listens and finally admits he was very insensitive! However, he decides to invite Eric, which irritates Bernadette even more. Later on, he talks too much with Eric, which causes Amy to have an even worse Valentine's day. After Howard and Bernadette were kissing in front of her and Sheldon brags about his good time with the conductor with Eric, Amy finally went off on Sheldon’s behavior and his rudeness. This caused him to be even more irritated with her. However, her opinion on him caused him to finally kiss her! I am so glad that they kissed. Easily the best part of the episode! To make him happy, she tells him to she can go see the conductor. In a change of heart, he invites her to go see the conductor. She accepts this invitation. At the end of this plot, they have no idea that Eric has followed them. I would have love to see Sheldon go off on him. Amy definitely deserves this from him after all the years that she’s put up with him! Amy works hard to save the relationship and make him happy.

Raj/Leonard/Penny plot
Leonard and Penny agree to watch Raj while he goes to the telescope lab. I loved the reference where Leonard suggested cuddling with Penny in “Sheldon’s spot”. It was amusing how Leonard bought Lakers Game tickets for Penny except that it was for her and anyone except him. After they get done cuddling, they find out that Cinnamon has ate all the chocolates. The doctor is not very happy of what Penny and Leonard did to the dog and asks if this is a joke to them.  Raj is angry at them for neglecting to watch her. It was entertaining how he asked the doctor to sing Katy Perry songs to Cinnamon. Raj continues to scream at them despite they apologize for what they did to Cinnamon. The doctor comes back and lets Raj know that the dog is responding well but will have to stay overnight to recover. I was glad that the doctor made an exception to let Raj see her and the doctor lets her know that she sang Katy Perry to her. The doctor will let him take her home and advises him to keep a close eye on her for the next 24 hours. Also, the doctor tells him to not hesitate to call her if he sees any warning signs on Cinnamon. She was hilarious when she told them it was good that they didn't own any animals. I believe that the doctor and Raj will have strong chemistry together.

Ending:
The doctor's name that took care Raj's dog is Yvette. He reads that it turns out that she was dreading Valentine's day and was happy that she spent time with him. I don't think we have not seen the last of Yvette as Raj was about to call her after he took Cinnamon home. Sheldon comes home and tells Leonard that he had a wonderful trip. He made a new friend and kissed Amy on the lips and the conductor played his banjo for him. He tells Leonard good night but he asks him to "wait, wait, wait". He wants more details and he reveals that his new friend is Eric and Amy's lips tasted like brownies. He can't answer his favorite moment of the night without collecting additional data. It was hilarious how Sheldon took Leonard's comment of him calling a "dawg" literally.

What did you all think of this wonderful and well-written episode?

  1. I love TBBT.It's one of my favorites shows, but for me, this episode wasn't good at all. The only thing that saved it was the Shamy kiss. It was sweety, romantic, kind but without being forced. It was so natural.
