ABC is blasting off this summer with a scripted drama series set in the 1960s about the lives of astronaut wives.
Astronaut Wives Club promises to tell “the real story of the women who stood beside some of the biggest heroes in American history during the height of the space race.” ABC has ordered 10 episodes straight to series.
The show is from writer-producer Stephanie Savage (Hart of Dixie, Gossip Girl) along with executive producers Josh Schwartz, Len Goldstein and Michael London.
