I don't mind the conflicts if they at least keep the story going. It was like last week I mean in the hospital room they talked and were truthful. But yea if I hear how sam wants to die one more time. Get over it you are not dead now shut up and show that brother of yours the light when your up to it. Remember the light you promised to show him when you started the trials. And if I were him I would think about it with the fact that hell isn't closed when everyone thought the angel spell would keep angels in heaven and close that down. nope didn't happen they fell so how do we know closing gates of hell would have done that??? Didn't metatron have a warning label about the trials for them to think before closing it??? You gotta wonder would it would have closed??
Why should Sam shut up ? Dean interfered have we not had seasons of Dean's issues and depression. In fact I would go as far as to say we have not had enough with Sam , or is it a case of once more sweep it all under the carpet because it was Dean who messed up this time.
I'm getting the impression that it's gonna be Dean to save the day again *sigh*. And where did come that anger from Dean? The guy screwed up badly and he is giving hell to Sam now? Wonder if that would happen if situation was reverse. This one sided writing is really difficult to watch. I got a impression it will be "The Mentalist" all over again, Dean being wrong and calling Sam a bit..
Dean, you're giving me whiplash with the 'Last I checked, we were in the business of killing monsters'. What happened to last season? Hell, what happened to the last episode?? Maybe this is the Mark of Cain bringing out the killer side of Dean.
Sam's 'I was ready to die' makes perfect sense. As hunters, Sam and Dean have to be willing to die. If they weren't then they would not be hunting. So what is the difference between Sam being willing to die to close the gates of hell and being willing to die because they hunt?
Have you seen the writing lately? I'm sure Dean is gonna be sick, get better and save the day, or do it while he is sick When Sam thanks him for saving him again, he is gonna say that thing about being a business partner. Somehow Dean is gonna end up being right. That is the vibe I got from this promo. And I really hope I'm wrong because it's a dangerous path to follow, writing agreeing that what Dean did is ok because it means he saved Sam.
I am thinking reason to kill kevin because angels can go back just need some ingrediants and boom they go back. I don't trust metatron and what the tablets where to do he is really good at playing people him and crowley should meet.
Sam and Dean have no blame for how they are forced to act on-screen, nor for the words that are put in their mouths. They are probably the first to be upset at how their bro-bond has been kicked arouind by Carver and co! It's the writers that should be getting the criticism, not them!
seems to me they're discussing their issues, Sam's telling Dean why he's angry and hurt and Dean I dont know why he's angry, why he's so insistent that Sam be a hunter that Sam live and carry on being strapped to Dean's side as an unhappy hunter for as many years as Dean's alive. I dont have a fucking clue what the writers are trying to achieve with this storyline other than making sure Sam gets all the bashing and Dean looks like a Saint. Do they just want Sam to admit that he's wrong and that they should keep saving each other no matter what, fuck the consequences?
Adam Glass's defense of his piss poor episode last week on twitter was laughable, apparently they do discuss each episode in depth and have a long term plan. All I see is them making sure that Sam gets as much fandom abuse as possible so Carver can justify them not writing for Sam in the future. Its absolutely laughable that Dean does something wrong but the writers make him out to be the one in the right and throw Sam under the proverbial bus.
Yeah really worth watching this show if you're still a Sam girl.
and Sam fans hotly anticipate another episode where their favorite brother is thrown under the proverbial bus, let the count down begin for another episode of Saint Dean and who gives a crap about his pointless brother Sam.
maybe he's trying to explain to Dean why he's angry and why he thinks things need to change? Wouldn't that be his right after he was the one betrayed and lied too?
The clip is pretty harmless. Doesn't necessarily mean the episode will be, but that's to be determined. I'm not sure why this clip is inspiring so much finger pointing.
remember they work the jobs but the brothers part is left out in the open there sam just wanted to hunt with dean. and I think that is how dean is playing it sam wants to hunt he will be hunting partners nothing else. so sam can't go bringing in brotherly stuff if we are not there yet. sammy made the rules for the getting in the car and I think dean is playing it perfectly. granted i thought oh this is not going to be good but ought to be entertaining to see now that sammy made the rules how he is going to like how dean is playing this out.
Do I want them to get along? Absolutely, but I would rather have them fix it for once before it happens all over again. Sam is as sick of this continuous life/death cycle as we all are.
I was dreading even watching it and when I did I was confused by the extreme reaction. I mean, the scene where Sam is talking about ready to die... They're sat down and it looks like they're talking, not fighting like I thought from the comments.
I hope they're really talking, Sam exposing to Dean how he feels. Maybe it's the road to the recovery of their relationship.
Hey, a brotherly love fan can dream, right? They'll probably prove me wrong in a couple of hours, lol.
I agree with them fixing their relationship, but I absolutely want them to continue saving each other at any cost. That's "Supernatural" foundation.
What I do want is the writers stopping using this (and other fake excuses) as a way to make the brothers fight and split. That's what I tired of, not them saving each other. Just my opinion.
I agree. I like seeing them save each other, but at the same time, death isn't really even a threat to them anymore. They seem to be perfectly capable of killing off other characters. However, when it comes to certain characters, like Sam and Dean, they can come up with wacky ways to save them every time. I never have the feeling of "oh God, please don't die" when it comes to either of them anymore.
I think people are fed up with Sam's "I was ready to die" thing because people aren't getting where he's coming from. You know why they're not getting it? It's because the writers never give Sam any way to explain why, so we don't know what he's thinking. Maybe, just maybe, this episode will shed some light on that.
Even though I understand where you're coming from, I'm very easy and get all teary begging them not to die. *Rolls eyes at myself* I wish I could be more like you, but... *Face palm*
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI was ready to die...NOT again. Every episode, there will be same discussion between them. Maybe it should be a drinking game.
ReplyDeleteWhy should Sam shut up ? Dean interfered have we not had seasons of Dean's issues and depression. In fact I would go as far as to say we have not had enough with Sam , or is it a case of once more sweep it all under the carpet because it was Dean who messed up this time.

ReplyDeleteWhy do you think that? According to synopsis Dean eats contaminated food, so I think Sam will be the one to help Dean out this time.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't trust anything in the tablets either, Sam could have died for nothing, except for his readiness to die be answered!
ReplyDeleteI don't know, even in promo pictures it looked like Sam trying to solve the case. Maybe this time you won't be disappointed. We will see tomorrow.

ReplyDeletenot another one of those EP again I can't take that anymore.

ReplyDeleteIsn't this only the second time Sam has brought this up??
ReplyDeleteI think Dean is saying that because he's reminding Sam that they're just working together, not brothers, per what Sam said last week.
ReplyDeleteThe promo at least offers some different varieties of scenes, which was nice.
ReplyDeleteWhy would Sam get along with the idea that his consent was violated? He's barely even spoken about this up to this episode.
Do I want them to get along? Absolutely, but I would rather have them fix it for once before it happens all over again. Sam is as sick of this continuous life/death cycle as we all are.

ReplyDeleteNow you're just talking logic. Don't be crazy now.
ReplyDeleteNot as long as the writers can't think of other ways to create drama within the show, they won't get along.
ReplyDeletelol. :) I know logic is 'illogical' in this context!
