This table shows the early overnight ratings. These ratings are normally adjusted later in the day when all the ratings have been consolidated to take into account any local preemptions and/or overruns. You can find all the final adjusted numbers in our Ratings Database. (See the About section below for details about ratings)

Each day (except Sunday) during the main TV Season we post the TV Ratings for the previous nights primetime shows for the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC). Cable Network ratings will be added to the Ratings Database.
The first item that gets posted (normally around 2pm GMT) is the early overnight analysis based on the early household numbers (these are not the same as the Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers that are posted later).
Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.
Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above.
Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc (see below). Friday's Final Adjusted Ratings are normally available on the following Monday.
If you’re interested in Ratings/Renewals/Cancellations then we have a number of resources here at SpoilerTV that we recommend you check out.

Poor Enlisted :/ LMS repeated very well on the other hand and 20/20 didn't too that badly against those monster Olympics out of a Shark Tank re-run Fridays at 10pm. It's only a tenth off what Nashville gets
ReplyDeleteSeriously FOX, burning FRIDAY shows off against the Olympics?
ReplyDeletePoor Enlisted!
ReplyDeleteIt really pisses me off that Kevin Reilly stated that Enlisted wasn't put on Friday to die and then he lets it air against The Olympics with no lead in support whatsoever. It's so obviously going to get cancelled that it is almost disrespectful for him to pretend he didn't send the show to die on Fridays
ReplyDeleteI really like Kevin Reilly and most of the stuff that he has been trying to do over at FOX, even if it doesn't work out at all times, but I cannot find any excuse for the way he's been treating Enlisted. I mean, we wouldn't criticize CBS for burning off a good comedy like that because well, they don't really have many available slots since their comedies are good performers in absolute terms (And even then, CBS did decide to end up its second highest rated comedy earlier to make room for Friends with Better Lives), but we're talking about FOX here in which every single comedy is struggling to cross the 1.5 threshold right now, couldn't they make room for Enlisted somehow?
ReplyDeleteI'm new with ratings, so how do I know, if the ratings for a show is good or bad?
ReplyDeleteSorry to see a LMS repeat doing equal or even better than a regular Neighbors episode :-(
ReplyDeleteHI @Niklas

It more or less depends on how well it does relative to the other shows. For example, something like Sleepy Hollow or Family Guy does really well, as they are higher up in the FOX Ratings Totem Pole, while Raising Hope and Enlisted are lower due to poor ratings.
ReplyDeleteThank you both a lot! I think now I understand the ratings much better :)
ReplyDeleteAnd there was room for Enlisted! As soon as Dads ends, Enlisted could have gone to 8:30 and Brooklyn Nine-Nine to 8:00 PM. Heck, even Enlisted could have given a shoot to lead off the night at 8:00! And they could have continued with some Raising Hope double shoots, or put it on hiatus and then move Glee to Fridays to make room for Rake (even though it flopped after American Idol). So there was room for Enlisted, I think FOX just didn't believe in it, which is a shame since the show is actually fun and well written, they just didn't have faith on it. Kevin Reilly is just being polite when he says he didn't send the show there to die, it is obvious they had no hope for it since the word go. One puzzling thing: why didn't they let air out of Bones since the beginning? They must have expected to do bad after Raising Hope, it did and then they did what they should have done from the word go? I find that very odd
ReplyDeleteOh no i love Enlisted. How can the situation be so dire that there is already talk of cancellation... there were only like 5 episodes.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to ratings for the CW?
ReplyDeleteThe CW aired no original programming last night, only a movie, Attack the Block.
ReplyDeleteThere were no shows on the CW last night.
ReplyDeleteThere were no shows on the CW last night otherwise we would have posted them.
