I know I'm nitpicking, but couldn't they try and find italian actors? I had to read the sub to understand what they were saying! And also, I know we speak with our hands but gestures have meanings! That aside, I'm really starting to like the show and, I jnow I'm in the minority here, I love Skye!
I love Skye too! I think the show has really done a great job building the characters up slowly. It's one of the things that makes those last scenes so powerful! I like that they've kept Skye more on Fitz and Simmons team rather than having her miraculously be as good as May and Ward in the field and that they didn't do the obvious pairing of her and Ward but put Ward and May together (at least for now!) Now I'm really curious about the hand gestures! LOL! I love Carlo Rota so I was happy to see him cast, but for the parts that didn't need a good actor, you'd think they would have cast Italians - but it may be the scripting that is to blame anyway - they'd be the ones writing the dialogue...
Coulson/Ward scene, May tells Ward scene, May gets what she needs, and other, Coulson staring down at his girl Skye with guilt and concern! I'm a sucker for their adorable father/daughter relationship!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Best episode in a while, with no shortage of great options!
ReplyDeleteSo hard to choose only a few!
ReplyDeleteI not sure if Quinn shooting Skye should be part of favorite scene.....
ReplyDeleteAll scenes with May were awesome, I just love her character
ReplyDeleteFitz consoling SImmons at the end of the episode.
ReplyDeleteSo many great scenes, for the funny its Fitz and Skye as a couple and Simmons really getting into her undercover role.
ReplyDeleteFor the action then May taking out the bad guys after being stabbed in the shoulder.
For the emotion then Skye being discovered by Coulson as they try to save her life and Simmons breaking down later on the Bus.
Not favorite as in "like" but important. Perhaps Coulson finding her would have been a better choice?
ReplyDeleteOMG- YES! That was literally the next scene on my list. Henstridge was just amazing in that scene. Thanks for adding it here!
ReplyDeleteYes! Too many great scenes to list them all in the poll! Thanks for adding here!
ReplyDeleteMay beating those men with just her hands no gun and just a knife

ReplyDeleteOther: SImmons throwing herself over what she thought to be a grenade.
ReplyDeletePretty much the entire May point of view was filled to the brim with cool sequences that I can't just pick one
ReplyDeleteFitz is a badass this episode. I think this is the first time he was in face-to-face combat with a bad guy.
