It was excellent!! I love this show! So many good scenes tonight.
I loved the beginning scene between Carl and Michonne. In fact, all of their scenes were good. I like how she told him about her son and how they bonded some more. Chandler's voice is getting deep. He's growing up on us.
I was on pins and needles during the Rick scenes. I felt so bad for him because all he wanted to do was sleep! Haha! Those people were bad news so I'm happy he got away from them. I can't wait to see Rick and Carol reunite. That should be interesting!
I like the new people. I believe Eugene purposefully shot up that truck. His smirk at the end led me to believe that. Maybe, he doesn't have the cure like they believe!
I think I am definitely shipping Rick/Michonne now. And whoa, it was definitely tense in the house. Glad they all got out of there safe and sound. And I liked the Carl and Michonne scenes. They were pretty good.
I don't trust Eugene (is there even still a DC?) but I do like Abraham and the girl.
I think Eugene's a phony. I don't believe he's a scientist and I don't believe he knows a thing about a cure. I believe he thinks he's the smartest person alive and if there's an answer it's gotta be in DC. I like Abraham though. He's point blank.
This new group... Is it the blind leading the stupid or the stupid leading the blind?
No way in hell does Eugene know what caused the apocalypse! The man has a mullet and cargo shorts! I can see Abraham being good-hearted, mission-oriented and dumb enough to fall for it and I can see Episnosa just not caring enough to argue. But Eugene has gotta be lying!!
I do like Abraham somewhat though.
Okay its been a few years now and I am still wondering... Didn't anybody in this part of Georgia wear clothes not colored beige, grey, olive or black? Seriously! Someone can't wear a red sports jersey or a blue chambray shirt? C'mon!
Very tense moments in the house with Rick waking up to a traveling band of armed men. Thankfully it was Rick there and not someone else though since Rick is wiley enough to get himself out of that situation!
Carl and Michonne bonding was fun, and it is nice to get back story on another character.
Seeing Glenn on a mission is fun! Zombies, broken ribs, lesbian ex-antagonist, possible cure for the world, - Nope! Nothing can stop Glenn!
I definitely think people have scavenged the clothes they wear and chose them for their ability to camouflage. Just seems to be the wise move in this world, if you ask me.
I agree with everyone who said the "cure" thing was BS. We sort of went down that road already when they went to CDC and found it was some virus that everyone had and when you die it takes over your brain.
I'm not sure if I like the new character or not but they could have potential.
I wonder if RIck & Michonne will catch up to Carol & Tyrese on the tracks.
I'm just disappointed I guess!!! What's up with the fat hill Billy sitting on the toilet not even using it!!! With his bare feet and cafe stile bike boots sitting next to him????? And hey you would think the dude upstairs would of herd them banging around in there when Rick was choking him out!!!! Can anyone explain to me why would Rick crack the door with the guy he just killed laying on the floor!!!!!!WHY,WHY,WHY??????? What was that about???? And last week one question Did anyone else notice that the Bus was Half painted????? What ever happened to Prop or set design anyways!!!!!! It's silly they made the Willies down stairs sound like they were killing someone before Rick woke up!!!!! What was up with that??? They should of showed what was going on down there. And if I was sitting in a bathroom ( with my boots off barefoot) and someone ran in on me in the Zombie apocalypse I would of screamed!! But no this guy not even dropping a heavy doesn't even make a Peep!!!!!!!!
Hey maybe Rick will get his A## kicked by v a Hobo wile there walking on the DR tacks???? He's pretty much spent!!!! I'm surprised Rick could even of Choked out that Willie in the John!!!
Rick strangled the guy without breaking his neck, so he cracked the door so the guy would come back as a zombie, get out easily and create a distraction for the group to deal with and he could escape. Which you heard them deal with while he's crouching by the porch
Judging from the recognisable member of that group in the house (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0462116/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t6) which is who was last seen sitting and whistling on the porch. I don't think that's the last time we'll see him or that group :)
This was probably the weakest episode of the three so far. The situation at the house Rick was at was probably the best part. Not saying I didn't like the episode, just wasn't as fun as the other two. I like Tara's character and hope they keep her around for a while, but I have a sinking feeling they won't. There is definitely something off with Eugene, just not sure what it is yet. I think he purposefully shot up the jeep as well. I hope it isn't just Beth and Daryl next week, but that looks like the way it will turn out judging from the previews. Good episode, intense at times, but not as good as the first two back from hiatus.
Love seeing the bond between Rick, Michonne, and Carl, the simple, powerful respect between Rick and Michonne, the unspoken closeness. Michonne is wonderful for Carl. She's a mentor and friend, a figure of respect, who never, ever tries to be his mother. Seeing him be happy with her, only to become guilt-ridden over Judith, then having Michonne confide her deepest secret in him to show her trust - I loved all of this. And knowing Michonne doesn't have to kill zombies every week to be a great character.
Rick in the house was frightening, tense, superbly staged. My heart was in my throat. Andrew nailed all of those scenes. And A+ for his new wardrobe. I like the ending too, and I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of that group.
I was happy to see Glenn and Tara, but not the clown car of Abraham and the others. They seem like idiots (Eugene can't shoot, Abraham invites walkers to bite him and would rather pick fights than deal with problems, Rosita is dressed like she's on her way to the beach). They dragged this episode way down.
Seriously, so much "awful" ? We' haven't seen the same episode I think...
I'm not a big fan of TWD, but I must say that this episode was one of the best of this season ! It was pretty intense, the dialogues were much better than many episodes of the show and I got surprised a few times ! I think it was a good idea that the writers had when they decided to make the group split up, espicially in these conditions. They are more than ever in danger, and there are so much possibilities to be explored in this situation that I can't see how the end of the season wouldn't be awesome !
This was a good episode. I liked Carl and Michonne bonding. All the scenes with Rick were scary and intense. Although some of them were a little silly in that I had a hard time believing that the guy's wouldn't look under the bed or the guy that threw the ball against the window, that he wouldn't have looked in the room more thoroughly before doing that and if he had, he would have seen Rick just standing there. Question: how come the people in the pink room weren't zombies? I'm not sure what to think about Abraham and Co. yet. Rosita hasn't talked enough for me to make a judgment about her, although she did attempt to pull Abraham off of Glenn when they were fighting, so she gets points for that. Also even though there weren't many options anyways, she did decide to follow Glenn and Tara instead of just staying with Abraham and Eugene.
What did the sign on the train car say? I only caught the word Sanctuary. I was a little surprised when Rick, Michonne, and Carl were on the train tracks. I probably shouldn't have been, but I was. When Rick slowed down, I thought maybe he saw Tyreese, Carol, and the girl's, but then all it turned out to be was the sign on the train car. I wonder if each of these next episodes are going to end with each group ending up at the train tracks next to the train car with the sign on it. Next week it seems like we are going to see Beth and Darryl's journey.
Quick question about last week: I had read a review and the reviewer said that Beth and Darryl thought a couple of the bodies they came upon at the train tracks were of Mika and Lizzie. Is that true, did they think that 2 of the bodies were the girl's? Because I never got that impression from them. If they did think that, it would make Beth's break down a little more understandable. I know it came right after Darryl said that mean thing about Hershel, but still. I guess my point is that I just found it strange that she just broke down, out in the open on the tracks. But if she believed that a couple of the bodies were the 2 girl's, any resolve she might have had, went away with that knowledge.
The people in the pink room were not zombies because they were all shot in the head and murdered by the mom who in turn committed suicide by shooting herself in the head.
A family mercy killing suicide/ murder pact I guess. Although I guess it is possible that on her own the mom killed the kids as they slept/ were drugged and then killed herself because she did not want any of the family to turn...
That freaked me out at first, but I think we couldn't differentiate from the guy snoring on the bed and breathing coming from the guy unconscious on the floor. It would be a pretty messed up group if they killed each other for a king size bed, so I think he just passed out unconscious from the "sleeper hold"
Same reason why the prison guard in the booth with keys on him didn't turn bc he shot himself. Killing yourself and blewing your brains out is the key to killing zombies when you turn and also the key to stop the process.
I didn't even really think they were a big deal in the comics. She had more of an investment in the thing than he did. It was more proximity and personal manpain stuff for him and real love on her end. Because he went after what's her name in Alexandria pretty easily. When she brought up Rosita, he said pretty much the same thing - it meant something to her, whereas it didn't to him.
I'm usually not one to complain about spoilers on SpoilerTV, but dude ... you coulda not said what happened, just mentioned he wasn't quite what he said he was.
See I haven't got up to their introduction in the comics, but the throwaway line about Rosita loving Abraham was pretty unnecessary. There's been absolutely no show of romance between the two so it seems pretty weird that Tara would know they're together.
It was a goddamn awful episode. Nothing really happened, and I'm starting to hate those new survivors. The only thing I truly loved was Michonne. I can't get enough of her.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Phew, that was pretty tense at the house. I was holding my breath a few times.
ReplyDeleteIt was excellent!! I love this show! So many good scenes tonight.

I can't wait until the next episode!
Very tense indeed! I was the same way. When the guy on the ground saw him . . . . tense moment!
ReplyDeleteI think I am definitely shipping Rick/Michonne now. And whoa, it was definitely tense in the house. Glad they all got out of there safe and sound. And I liked the Carl and Michonne scenes. They were pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI don't trust Eugene (is there even still a DC?) but I do like Abraham and the girl.
Good episode!
When they walked on the train track I hoped to see the Grimes family reunion. Now I expect it to happen at the end of the next episode.

ReplyDeleteIt was awesome im liking the friendship between michonne and carl
ReplyDeleteThis new group...

ReplyDeleteWell, I mostly was joking honestly..
ReplyDeleteAlthough I do think it is a conscious choice by the design team to set a mood... and like you said , dirt!
Still though... I would love to see some zombies in their church clothes! XD
Bright floral dresses or if they get to urban ATL, colorful suits! XD
Love Rick's new jacket.

ReplyDeleteI ment to write " wile walking on the RR Tracks" Stupid spell check

ReplyDeleteThanks for the link @Chris Kelly I thought I recognized him. I agree, seems too big an actor for a throwaway part like that.
ReplyDeleteI didn't like Rosita and Abraham being put together in a relationship. I know it happens in the comics but there didn't seem to be anything there.
ReplyDeleteThis was probably the weakest episode of the three so far. The situation at the house Rick was at was probably the best part. Loved the episode. Was I the only one waiting for Eugene to say " trust me...I'm the doctor" not I'm smarter than you.
ReplyDeleteThis was a good episode. I liked Carl and Michonne bonding. All the scenes with Rick were scary and intense. Beth and Daryl were tracking down two other kids, Luke and Molly.
ReplyDeleteU R right, but what about the first guy, the one killed next to the bed? That guy killed him and left him there to turn, and then falls asleep?
ReplyDeletethey even said in the episode they were tracking Luke, it was the writers way to get rid of those two not usefull anymore kids.
ReplyDeleteI thought the people in the "Rick's house" were the cannibals and they killed and ate somebody downstairs, I guess they were not important...
ReplyDeleteThat freaked me out at first, but I think we couldn't differentiate from the guy snoring on the bed and breathing coming from the guy unconscious on the floor. It would be a pretty messed up group if they killed each other for a king size bed, so I think he just passed out unconscious from the "sleeper hold"
ReplyDeletein the comic he turned out to be a scientist but a science teacher looks like they are goig to do the same thing for the tv show
ReplyDeleteThey explained it on TTD that the guy was still breathing lol made a point why kill your own ppl when there's strength in numbers.
ReplyDeleteFun Fact the actress who plays her is literally scared of knives that she buys food that don't require cutting lol
ReplyDeleteSame reason why the prison guard in the booth with keys on him didn't turn bc he shot himself. Killing yourself and blewing your brains out is the key to killing zombies when you turn and also the key to stop the process.
ReplyDeleteAbraham was def I nicely cool! I agree with you about Eugene!
ReplyDeleteIt was another ad for Terminus. The same place Tyrese, Carol and the kids were headed to in the last ep they appeared in.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even really think they were a big deal in the comics. She had more of an investment in the thing than he did.
