  1. Seriously cant stand Fiona anymore. She refuses to own up to what she did. And why didnt she name Robbie for giving her the coke? Lip is totally right for being disgusted with her. She takes no responsibility.

  2. Yep, I agree. Which is also why I don't get the departure of Steve/Jimmy as he kept her in check as best anyone could. The show was also billed on a Fiona/Steve relationship and now all hell has broke loose. Yes, I'm bitter about how they dealt with Steve/Jimmy, but I'm also worried about the direction of the show as it's seemingly quickly turning into a hot mess.

  3. I also dont get why they spend so much time on Sheila. I dont think anyone gives a crap about her.

  4. You all are right . I didn't like how Steve was cut from the show . Every episode I'm waiting for him to pop up . And I can't believe Fiona is not being more responsible not only for Liam but her actions are getting in the way of lip focusing in college .And I'm disgusted with Ian he hasn't checked in on his family at all he's just acting crazy in a club .

  5. I like Sheila but I don't think they should give her plot as much air Time . With all the drama going on its irrelevant

  6. I dont see how anyone can complain about this episode or this season period, this is the most focused and driven Shameless has ever been.

  7. This show is criminally underrated. Seriously, everything on this show is spectacular. From the horribly realistic and depressing story and path some of the characters end up on, to the phenomenal acting of everyone involved.

Ya Fiona messed up, and I don't really get not giving up Robbie, but you can see a huge amount of remorse in her eyes. I think she knows she's falling off the deep end, I just hope she can turn it around for the rest of their sakes, particularly Liam.

Speaking of which, thank goodness Liam is ok. I didn't think they'd have him die, but still, it warmed me a little to see him get out ok and have everyone smile and excited at his release. Even just Lip with that huge smile on his face at seeing Liam wake up early in the episode was great. Awesome work by Jeremy Allen White. And I hope he doesn't end up dropping out of college, he definitely has the best chance of getting out.

And does anyone think they'll actually kill Frank off? I hope not, it would suck for the show to lose the tremendous William H Macy, but it seems very near to that outcome.

  8. We're in the fourth season. I think what we are seeing here is Fiona and the Gallaghers barreling toward rock bottom. But the thing about rock bottom is that there is nowhere to go but up. This episode was heavy. Usually there's a healthy dose of comedy in every episode but not so much here. Even the Sheila b-story was depressing in its own right. So I'm just saying, we're on a journey with the characters and we've just hit a significant bump in the road. I'm actually really enjoying this season. I also think that the absence of Jimmy/Steve is the catalyst for a lot of what is going wrong for Fiona. Without him, with Lip at college and Ian gone, she's spun out of control under the weight of responsibility. I'm not suggesting that it gives her a pass for her behavior but rather a means of understanding it a little. I suspect she'll be working toward turning things around from here on out.
