awesome ep.... I love when Alan Tudyk plays the bad guy (he was great as Alpha in Dollhouse), just kinda bummed that his exit seemed a bit quick as I wanted a shootout between he and either Raylan or Art.... really shocked the the Haitian guy was killed by the Crowe brother, I kept thinking that he would have a bigger role to paly as he seemed to be Darryl's #2.... nice face off scene between Boyd and Darryl in the bar as well
I can't wrap my head around how many times this episode made me jump or go WTF
+ Boyd killing Paxon!
+ Danny killing Jean Baptiste!
+ Theo Tonin being in the container!
+ Johnny not dying but pulling a fast one on Hot Rod!
+ Hayes killing Mooney!
+ Danny Strong injuring himself!
+ Raylan looking like he is going to confess at the end!
Then we have every single Art scene which were absolutely amazing. From his scene outside the diner with Alan Tudyk and the scene inside the diner. To the eventual shoot out and the fact that Art got Theo Tonin. Then the reveal that he has been playing Raylan the entire day really and mostly it was all to do with secret investigation. Truly Art is the man.
Boyd oh Boyd, he was having such a great day of course things mess up. But I love how he manipulated everyone to fit his agenda only for his day to end with Cousin Johnny in a strong position of power and his beloved Ava sent to state. Walton Goggins once again shows why he deserves an Emmy.
As for the Crowes, poor Dewey is having an existential crisis. I feel bad for Kendell, Danny is such an asshole bully, I think what happened to Jean Baptiste may really effect him and could led to the Crowes downfall. Darryl in Boyd's bar was hilarious, the pair of them sizing each other up. Interested to see what plan he has cooked up with Wendy.
So yes best episode of the season, so many amazing lines, lots of loose ends tied up and new problems created.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Please have Boyd kill that prison guard bastard
ReplyDeleteOr Johnny. But yes, he must go.
